Has we have a lot of cases of people with standard visa application still not getting a response after more than 6 weeks of application/no response. If one applied for priority visa, is he/she guaranteed to have a faster response or there are people that also have delayed response with that?

Then how much is the standard student visa application fee? And how much is for priority visa?

Yes I did paid call 2ce , sent an escalation mail to UKvi but was told I can't escalate cos I got a delay email. I've sent mails to school if they can help with the escalation as my sponsor

I did my Biometrics on 30th of July, though my university is due for resumption by October 2025, and enrolment start my Sept 15. But I haven't received any decision from ukvi. The only email they sent to me is "Unable to make a decision". After then I hve done paid email enquiry but the guy attending to me told me to keep calm that they will get back to me. But am yet to receive a response from them and am very scared as majority of people that did theirs on that same 30th of July has received their visa since at least 2 weeks ago

Pivoting from sales to Data Analysis is pretty straight forward, some companies like TikTok and Amadeus even call their Data Analysts - Sales Operations Analyst/Manager.

If you don’t have the actual skills, there’s a guy on YouTube called Alex the Analyst, although I’m not a data analyst, I learnt how to use Tableau with his videos, he simplifies the process. He also has tutorials on Power Bi, SQL and more (see below) You should also follow him on LinkedIn!

Final advice is to tailor your CV and LinkedIn accordingly. If your CV is too diverse, might limit your chances of getting interviews. Your CV should be in line with the roles you are applying for.

Long story but try and read

This journey started early this year
Applied to University of Bedfordshire for Sept intake. Conditional offer was given, Paid 75% of Tuition. At the time of Credibility Interview, was denied CAS...Why? beacause I had a recent refusal this year.

Ok All hope wasnt lost...I requested for refund.
A week
2,3,4 weeks went by ... still couldn't get the refund after sending lots of mail... funniest part was, they didnt respond to any of the mail.
Applied to LJMU and Greenwich University for Jan intake since i couldnt meet up with sept anymore.

Received Conditional from LJMU and Unconditional offer from Greenwich . Went with LJMU though.
I needed to make deposit of £4k, Bedfordshire still hasnt refunded the money..... My hubby Went online and saw a petition againt Bedfordshire where they didnt refund an Applicants money over 4-6months I think, Untill the petition.
I was like haa Morire

I sent another mail to the school, searched for the school's admissions team email, the departments, every email i could find from their site and cc: all.
Telling them I will also raise a petition or do worse if my money wasnt refunded asap.

Within 24hrs, they responded that that they are processing it and will take 2-6weeks to receive it.

Oh my God
Within a week I received the refund ...All thanks to God
Bedfordshire chapter closed.

Paid initial deposit , got unconditional offer from LJMU.
Then CAS...Applied for Visa, on biometrics day I missed my appointment, had to reschedule and booked Flexi for the next day.

I was actually scared the school or the ECO might reject my application again because I had 5 refusals...But, a guy testimony here on nairaland gave me of hope and courage .
Finally.....It ended in praise
