Hello, hello . . . ![]() |
If the dealers are going to be the owners of the terminals as said, who will be charging for overtime, what about issue of diversion in transfer There is a particular terminal at Apapa that is almost ghost of itself now due to theft in transfer just a distance of about 3-5k. The framework looks good but subject to monumental losses.Oga ToyeenP I see you . . . We should apply for our terminal now se? |

While we will examine some other terms as it applies in the course of this thread, place take a look at this chart as a guide Source: https://cargofromchina.com/incoterms/
|
INCOTERMS - 5 DDP – Delivered Duty Paid (named place of destination e.g DDP Jacksonville) This is exact opposite of EXW above. Seller is responsible for delivering the goods to the named place in the country of the buyer, and pays all costs in bringing the goods to the destination including import duties and taxes. This term places the maximum obligations on the seller and minimum obligations on the buyer. Though rarely used in export except in Procurement and Supply, it is not inevitable and seller should try and avoid this type of agreement. |
Please what is the difference between this and Porsche Cayenne or my eyes 'I' no see well They are not ready for serious competition because you can't compete with whom you are mirroring.I'm now understanding why some still prefer the 90s engineering and designs. There is even cooler for beverages, 'Multina tutu ati miliki' ![]() |

INCOTERMS - 4 EXW – Ex Works (named place e.g EXW FTZ, Lagos) The seller makes the goods available at its premises. EXW means that a seller has the goods ready for collection at his premises (works, farm, factory, warehouse, plant) on the date agreed upon. The buyer pays all transportation costs and also bears the risks for bringing the goods to their final destination. This term places maximum obligation on the buyer and minimum obligations on the seller. The Ex Works term is often used when making an initial quotation for the sale of goods without any costs included. In this case, If parties wish seller to be responsible for the loading of the goods and to bear the risk and any costs at all, this must be made explicitly clear. *FTZ - Free Trade Zone |
CIF – Cost, Insurance and Freight (named port of destination) Exactly the same as CFR except that the seller must in addition procure and pay for the insurance. |
