Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie is the first-ever winner of the newly created category.
The 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards was held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Georgia, United States this past weekend with comedian, actor and entertainer, Lil Duval hosting the night.

Which Ghana’s fastest and most decorated rapper Sarkodie (Michael Owusu Addo) made history once again by putting Africa on the map for all.

Sarkodiewas said to havehad a memorable night at the BET Hip Hop Awards , with some of the biggest names in rap music present in Atlanta for a jam-packed show.

The rapper beat out the likes of Falz the Bahd Guy, Ghetts and Little Simz, Nasty C and Tory Lanez to take home the award for the newly created ‘Best International Flow’ category.

HE was presented the award by Ugandan Get Out star, Daniel Kaluuya, in which The artist dedicated the award to his daughter, Titi and used his acceptance speech to urge audience members to take a trip to Ghana during the year of return.

He said “I just want to say thank you to the Almighty God. To family, this one is for my lil girl Titi…. I think Africa has always had it and it is about that time. This year is the Year of Return and I will urge each and every one of you here to take a trip back home.”

The 2019 BBNaija is officially over, This season has been interesting for viewers and it has been a roller coaster of ups and downs for housemates from winning cool cash to winning Bet Naija coins, the surprise eviction and even the shocking disqualification of a housemate

Out of 21 housemates and about five others that were introduced during the BBNaija show, only five remained in the house. The housemates were Mercy, Mike, Frodd, Seyi and Omashola. Leaving behind The current roster of the label such as Nosa, Loose Kaynon, Ruby Gyang and Ckay. 100 Crowns. With  Chocolate City Under M.I, a joint rap project between Loose Kaynon and A-Q  tagged ‘Crown’ was released in 2018.

Warner Music Group’s latest move is a deal with Nigerian independent label Chocolate City, whose roster includes artists like Femi Kuti, Dice Ailes and M.I. Abaga.

The deal includes “financial support” from WMG and the partnership will see Chocolate City’s artists working with WMG’s distribution and artist-services division ADA globally, but the label will also be supporting WMG in the promotion of its global artists in sub-Saharan Africa.

Kylie Jenner has been hospitalized and reports are saying it’s serious.
Kylie was supposed to present at the Emmys on Sunday night … along with her sisters, Kim Kardashian West and Kendall Jenner, but she was way too sick to make the appearance.

Reports from TMZ said Kylie Jenner suffering, and has been for several days, with an intense illness that required her to check into a hospital this week.

Sources closer to her said Kylie was admitted to an L.A.-area hospital. One source described it as severe flu-like symptoms which included nausea and dizziness.

As for Kylie’s parents Kris Jenner is out of the country for work right now, but one source said Caitlyn Jenner’s been at the hospital checking in on their daughter.

She did miss out on her travel to Paris for a fashion week, which was confirmed from the message she sent out to notify her fans and the public saying she’s too sick to travel overseas for the Balmain show at Paris Fashion Week.

A man named Paul Nixon, from Harris county Houston, Texas, is wanted by authorities after “fraudulently” finalizing his divorce without his wife’s knowledge.

NYDN reports:

Said Investigators found that Paul Nixon had submitted forged documents and false information to a district court in Houston saying his wife agreed to their divorce.

The constable’s office launched an investigation after Nixon’s wife informed officials that he had “divorced” her without her knowing.

Additionally, it was found that Nixon committed perjury by testifying in court during a divorce hearing. The divorce has been set aside due to the fraudulent filing, according to authorities.

Harris County Constable Mark Herman wrote in a Facebook post earlier this week.

“The waiver of service also included the forged signature of a notary public,”

Paul is said to be currently on the run, this was confirmed after reporters tried to reach out to Harris County Constable Mark Herman but he could not be immediately reached for comment on Sunday, but he told TV station KPRC earlier this week that a search for Nixon, wanted for aggravated perjury, is ongoing.

“We have teams out looking for him right now, I can tell you,” he told the station. “And we have an idea where he’s at. So hopefully, he’ll turn himself in. If not, we’ll catch him. Just a matter of time.”

Comedian Kevin Hart is about hitting the court with lots of lawsuit on his plate even when not fully recovered from his back injury sustained from his car crash couple of weeks.

Reports are saying Kevin Hart’s lawyers have assembled and the two people riding in his car when it crashed earlier this month have also lawyered up, with A lawsuit is more than likely on the way.

TMZ reports are saying :

The driver, who sustained serious back and chest injuries has an attorney, as does the passenger in the backseat, who sustained only minor injuries. Kevin has a lawyer as well.

We’re told Kevin is in the crosshairs of the other 2 people in the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda because the car did not have safety harnesses or airbags. The argument is … Kevin should have worried less about keeping the car authentic and more about safety — and not doing so constitutes negligence.

The argument goes like this … the company is the expert and even if Kevin wanted a custom job without safety harnesses, the company should have refused the job because it wasn’t safe … especially with a powerful, 720 horsepower engine.

We contacted 10 custom car companies around the country and asked if Kevin’s crash has opened their eyes and changed their minds about customizing classic cars without installing safety harnesses. 8 out of the 10 said they would if that’s what the customer wanted. Only 2 said they would not.

It’s interesting because it opens these companies up to a lawsuit, especially if there are passengers in the car who get injured.
