While the University of Nigeria was establised in 1955-1960 Sorry UI wasn't established by the brits as the first indigenous university, it was first established as a college campus of a univeristy in london. The first indigenous established was UNN. |

ycat: I see that you took a swipe at Yoruba!
It was only in Oyo state it was reported that your people were self registering on their own, so why would anyone chicken out?
You have chosen to live your lives the way of the animals and you are now almost like Ebola people avoid. Goat can only reach what's on the floor. And the only reasons you have been getting away with all this is, our people are still sleeping. If your human part is greater than that of the animals, you would know that, everything with a beginnin has an end. Your time is about up. It is getting to the point where the final blood bath will give us all what we want. South Sudan got their country after years of pogroms.
Believe it, Yoruba gets anything they put their minds to, and this is the first time I'm hearing from the people that are in the know that, Nigeria will separate.
Keep doing what you do, you have a long wrap sheets of genocidal records all over the world, and you are just one step closer to getting your country. You will now be rejected wherever you go once Yoruba, the most tolerant reject you.
outside Abuja, Yoruba that are still living in any part of the north are on their own, the region is no longer what it used to be, heck! I even stopped a friend who wanted to vacation in Abuja from going there, cos your surrounding are just so unpredictable now. why you dey lament. No be you want one nigeria before? |

jlinkd78: Honestly I v personally learnt a lot from this unfolding case that what it actually takes to be alive is to look at ur enemy eyeball to eyeball and make him understand u are ready to die than to live d life of cowards. Mr Kalu u v really shown d world dat d Nig govt knows d truth dat under an ideal trial they can not build a strong case against ur agitation and this account for d seeming frustration on d side of d state agents. Imagine d frustration on d side of d judge too who is even subscribing to d celestial orders i.e d spritual heavenly bodies of which God Almighty and His Angels are in charge for adjudication. U now see why Mr Kalu has always told all dat he was actually on this mission cos Chukwu Okike Abiama (God of creation) sent him. The judge has inadvertently admitted dat any fight against this course is directly a fight against d celestial bodies. Cant fail to observe d articulate composure on d side of these three wise men from d East and d well tailored white (a celestial colour) dressing. Nnamdi must have lectured them wella himself being a student of contemporary History. Congrats in advance. The confused judge was begging celestial powers to save him from the hot coal case. The world is watching him for posterity sake and he is between the devil and the deep blue sea. If you nko, you no go call God (celestial powers) to intervene on your behalf. BFria will happen either when buhari is alive or over his dead body. He is old and doesnt have much time. The children of the innocent unarmed protesters he killed will find his own kids and pay them back. No amount of security can watch them all for the rest of their lives 24/7. The days of killing innocent people and getting away with it is over. |

defash8: Hmm, Buhari need to be careful, he has children. I wonder how he intend to continuously protect them in the next eight years. He should ask Abacha family in Kano how they used to sneak around when they are outside Abuja & Kano. They are always scared that someone is after them, Buhari should take lesson from this. It's a pity buhari keeps exposing his children and extended family members to potiential harm because he wants to settle personal score by disobeying court orders. Any day i look at his family member i pity what will behalf them. I'm not sure they'll be safe wherever an easterner breathes on the surface of this earth and there is no country where you don't find easterners who are ready to die or go to jail to have a country devoid of buhari's likes. I'm not really sure. They have nothing to lose already. I'm not sure kanu's death will be taken lightly, all the ammunition in the world won't help Buhari when he starts the conflagration that he earnestly seeks by disobeying court orders and killing unarmed protesters. I really feel for his family, i really do. |

Only death can save that dullard from ICC. Thank God the whole world saw he him justified the killing of unarmed people. When i saw the way he way he was sweating on that seat in that airconditioned aljazeera room, laugh wanted to kill me. ICC is sure for him. You don't kill the most literate Africans and go scot free! never! |

pomporiking: Buhari is a bigot,Really hoping nass steps up to the plate to block this move.how is it sensible to join a coalition led by saudi arabia who sponsor terrorism, and have done nothing to help our fight against bh The same saudis who refused to allow jonathan's ammunition pass their airspace. Saudis are salifist who sponsor boko haram. Boko haram is a salafist group and they are in the good books of the Jihadist saudis. |

aydought: PMB should not "throw the baby away with bad water". The resolutions made at the National Conference will go a long way in correcting the ills of this country. Niger Delta militants have started attacking the pipelines again. Why is Daddy PMB turning his face the other way on the issues raised at National Conference? May God save this nation. Why are you now begging for implementation of GEJ's national conference resolution. I thought we yorubas say GEJ only organized a 'come and chop' jamboree. Many yorubas even advised Buhari to throw it into the dustbin. |

freeborn76: Only Igbos can do this. Shame! The same way they carried placards in support of Stella Oduah; whenever an Igbo man is arrested for theft, they scream marginalisation and victimisation, whereas most of the people arrested by the Buhari government for corrupt practices are either Northerners or Southwesterners, how many placard carrying mugus have you seen from the regions? Even the south south region openly condemned Ibori and have not deemed it fit to carry senseless placards...you guys need to wake up o! You are your greatest albatross. I don talk my own! But you welcome the biggest landlord in africa thiefnuuubu after he steals from you and sells you to the fulanis.
