Well it's been an interestingly year since the launch of S9+ to Huawei P20 (triple camera) to the One plus 6 and now at the IFA 2018 trade show in Berlin LG announced an android one version of the original LG G7, the LG G7 One. It retained almost all the hardware features but it came fully equipped with the stock android dropping the original android software version. The downside of the hardware spec is that it didn't come with a secondary wide-angle camera that was on the original G7. I don't think even A.I. can solve that because one of the major reason the G7 sold well was because of the wide angle shots, but for a compensation the G7 One did come equipped with a Snapdragon 835 which is a surprise as most android one device usually comes with the 600 or 400 series. Apart from the lack of wide angle lens LG has retained most of the G7's core features for this Android One version, like the headphone jack and DAC,BoomBox speaker system,3000mAh battery,IP68 resistance, fingerprint sensor and buttons. Yea I know how cool that is. It's tough to fully evaluate the LG G7 One right now, because pricing and availability information is going to make or break it. But one thing I do know is that you get regular software updates and you get to feel clean stock first hand.

The display The Pocophone F1 features a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display, featuring a resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels (18:9). At 416dpi, the pixel density is high enough to make pixels unnoticeable. Colors are nice and punchy, though OLED would’ve obviously got you better contrast rates and viewing angles. The only minor issue worth noting is outdoors legibility – at full brightness, text can be a little smudgy. Design and build Quality The Pocophone F1 looks and feel rather generic. We were obviously not expecting Note 9-like levels of design refinement, but the F1 falls short compared to competitors in its price range, and even some cheaper alternatives. The feeling of cheapness largely comes from the polycarbonate back of the device. It’s not that it’s shoddy or flimsy, far from it. The finish of the dark grey (Graphite Black) version mimics metal quite well, but the F1 definitely feels less premium than the OnePlus 6 or Honor 10. On the flip side, the plastic back should fare better when dropped, even if it will scratch and wear faster than glass. If you’d like something a little fancier, you should look into the top Pocophone F1 version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Called “Armored Edition”, this model comes with a back made of Kevlar fabric that resembles the Motorola Droid Razr from a few years ago. It’s the only version we would feel confident using without a case, as it feels quite sturdy and the extra grip is reassuring. The Kevlar model is only available in black. Pocophone F1 specs and hardware features The Pocophone F1 will be available in three memory-storage combinations: 6GB/64GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB. All three versions feature the Snapdragon 845 processor (10nm octa-core with Adreno 630 GPU). That’s quite impressive for a phone that sells for under $500. On top of this, Xiaomi added a liquid cooling system to help the CPU hum along without overheating. It’s called LiquidCool, and it works by transferring heat from the processor to the other parts of the phone, a bit like an AC unit. The battery is excellent too. A 4,000mAh unit should keep you up and running for a full day, potentially two, depending on how hard you push it. >USB TYPE C >NFC IS MISSING >DUAL CAMERA Source: Android Authority

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey will face a grilling from a Congressional panel in two weeks about the platform's algorithms and how it monitors content. The House Committee on Energy and Commerce said in a tweet Friday that Dorsey will testify September 5. Republican Greg Walden of Oregon, who chairs the House commerce committee, said in a statement he looks "forward to Mr. Dorsey being forthright," during his testimony. "Twitter is an incredibly powerful platform that can change the national conversation in the time it takes a tweet to go viral," the statement reads. "When decisions about data and content are made using opaque processes, the American people are right to raise concerns." Twitter did not immediately respond to a request for comment. What do you guys think? Are they trying to avoid another Cambridge analytical scandal?

Compared to the original vision for Android One, Google has had more success getting manufacturers to adopt Android Go. As rumored earlier this year, Samsung is now the latest company to launch a device running an optimized version of Android better suited for lower-end hardware. Specifications for the Galaxy J2 Core are in line with other Android Go devices from 1GB of RAM to 8GB of storage. Fortunately, Oreo (Go edition) is preloaded with fewer apps allowing for “1.5 times the available storage capacity compared to previous offerings.” Samsung touts “optimized applications” that use less memory like Google, Assistant, Gmail, Maps, and YouTube Go, as well as Gboard, Chrome, and Google Play. Judging from icons alone, it’s not clear if Samsung took the time to develop Go variants for first-party apps like Messages and Phone. Besides performance, Android Go features Optimized Data Control for easier data management like setting usage limits. Buyers already familiar with Samsung’s low-end offerings should find a very familiar software experience across the operating system. This includes the same lock and home screen, app launcher, and notifications. Other specs include a 5-inch 540 x 960 display, Exynos 7570, and 2,600mAh battery rated for all-day usage. There is an 8MP rear camera and 5MP front-facer. The Samsung Galaxy J2 Core will launch in India and Malaysia on August 24th and expand to additional markets in the future.

I'm writing to you to tell you about a new deal if made available that will change the AFRICA market about flagship devices that are not currently in the Africa market but are making buzz outside Africa and selling at a very incredible rate. So I will talk briefly about the devices as I list them below. As a tech enthusiast and has being in the Android world for as long as I can remember whatever fact listed here is nothing but the truth so help me GOD 1. I'll start with the GOOGLE PIXELS Google pixels started production 2016, they were formerly known as Nexus Phones which started around 2010, these phones offer Pure Android experience directly from Google, the Google Pixel 2 beat the iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy note 8 to emerge in the device with best camera and it achieves this feat with just one single camera. It's a Beaty and a beast, Google promises to give O.S. and security update for at least three consecutive years. The latest Pixel is powered by Snapdragon 835 Chipset and 4 GB of RAM which comes in 32GB, 64GB and 128 GB Variants. These devices offer Pure Android experience and they're as fast as iPhone x with enough features to blow your mind which can only be explained by demonstration. 2. The second in line is the OnePlus 6 made by OnePlus The device was released this year May 16. The design is in respect to the iPhone X but has the ability to hide the notch. it comes 6 or 8GB of RAM powered with lastest Snapdragon 845 with an option of 64, 128 or 256GB of ROM. What makes this device stands out is it's premium design and less expensive compared to the Samsung and the iPhone and it is one of the fastest if not the fastest mobile device in the world. One plus is equipped with the oxygen OS( Near stock ROM similar to Google's Android). The camera isn't as good as Samsung or iPhone but it's over the average. You can call it the most cheapest flagship device. 3. Vivo apex/NEX This device features the world's first smartphone with an under screen fingerprint scanner, Vivo apex features a high screen to body ratio (91.2%), pop-up front . motorized camera and two optical fingerprint scanners under its OLED display.(how cool is that?) however it is only for front camera, there's still a dual camera at the back of the device. It is powered with of course the latest Snapdragon 845, 6 or 8GB with an option of 64, 32 and 128GB ROM. And it's the first that comes completely without a notch. 4. Oppo find X This phone is the future, like how you make an extremely large 6.4-inch display into a phone that you can still hold in one hand. The Find X’s design is so space efficient that Oppo claims it has a screen to body ratio of 93.8 percent. And it does this without utilizing a notch, that is even more than the iPhone X. The most interesting aspect of the Find X’s design is its camera system, which is completely hidden when the phone is off or the camera app is closed. When you turn the Find X on and open the camera app, the entire top section of the phone motorizes up and reveals a 25-megapixel front-facing camera, 3D facial scanning system, and 16-megapixel + 20-megapixel dual rear camera. Close the camera app and the whole assembly motors back into the phone’s chassis. Oppo says the camera can open in just 0.5 seconds, and based on my experience, that seems fairly accurate, I mean how crazy is that? Aside from its unique design, the Find X has all of the things you’d expect from a high-end Android phone in mid-2018. It uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor, has 8GB of RAM, and offers up to 256GB of storage. It has a 3,730mAh battery with Oppo’s VOOC fast wired charging that’s similar to OnePlus’ Dash Charge. 5. The reason why i put this at No 5 iis because there some mid range Huawei devices in Nigeria Huawei’s new P20 and P20 Pro and they’re both huge steps up from their predecessors. They are the best Android phones coming from China. Both models are available in a few different colors, but the P20 Pro comes in a unique twilight edition that features a glossy blue-to-purple gradient that changes tone depending on the lighting condition. That’s not the only reason the P20 Pro will be a head-turner, either. The higher-end model comes with three rear-facing cameras at 20, 8, and 40MP. These are Huawei’s first 2018 flagships, so both phones have some killer under-the-hood specifications, too. The P20 comes with a 5.8-inch Full HD+ LCD display, 4GB of RAM, and a 3,400mAh battery, while the P20 Pro sports a 6.1-inch Full HD+ OLED display, 6GB of RAM, and a 4,000mAh battery. Both devices are powered by Huawei’s Kirin 970 SoC.
