I tot the IHS payment for study Visa for one year course is GBP705.....why this below? I need help now, can someone explain to me now

I will like to understand this issue of POF better as well and will share it on the platform thereafter....... there are some words that might not easily be express by typing but while conversing, someone can easily express himself/herself properly and deduce inference from the conversation.

Here's a hint. My POF is gon be 28 days by friday, nut on chwcking oanda converter this morning i realized the conversion rate has now increased and i will be needing more fund, if i top my account now does it mean i will start counting 28 days all over again or i can continue the counting.

The day you submit online is an important date and used for two things.... First it determines what exchange rate will be used. No other days exchange rate matters for that applicants. Secondly the visa office checks that the bank statement has the amount needed and its been there up to 28 days minimum counting backward

TSL /Biometric submission is used for something totally different. It used for the turnaround time. From that date your application then becomes complete . The average turnaround after that day is 15 working days but that average. It can be more or less

You mean online submission or TLS submission. "Note: I can submit my online application and my appointment with TLS can be a week after for Biometric"....... I need someone to distinguish this for me, if they are referring to the online submission or when I submit my passport at the TLS.

Afternoon gurus in the house. You guys have done well........ Can I submit my online application now and schedule my appointment with TLS for Biometric till the end of the month because of my 28 days calculation for POF to be mature? I mean submitting my application now while my 28 days POF has not ripped enough can count against me in my VISA decision Need a piece of advice when I can submit my online application, in relation to my POF 28 days mandates.

Your IHS fee depends on your course duration
The surcharge is £470 per year for students not £475
1yr - 470+235 = £705
18months - 470+ 470/2 + 235 = £940
2yrs - 470*2 +235 = £1175

U.S. passport holders are only allowed to enter visa-free for short-term stays, not for long term residence.

Application - 29th march
Biometrics - 1st April Standard, Self upload. (omited birth cert for one of the kids. But was able to add this at the VAC. Paid for assisted service for the kid)
Passport collection mail - 14 April
DHL delivery - 15 April
Visa was actually granted - 9th April.

University requested my hubby's TB certificate, account statement and conducted a zoom interview.

Documents submitted:

Student -
Passport, Degree, Waec, Marriage, TB certificates, Account statement, old passport with visa.

Dependants partner -
Degree, TB, Marriage certificates, passport and account statement.

Children each -
Account statement, TB, birth certificates, passport, and Consent letters.

We all used the same account statement.

We really thank the Most High God for His mercies.
I thank all who answered my questions especially Justwise and Cutieb.
