A female drug trafficker from Enugu State going to Brazil has been caught hiding cocaine in her bra worth millions.





A Brazil-based Nigerian hairstylist has been caught by officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos on Friday hiding cocaine in her bra.
The suspect, Nnaji Juliet Ijeoma, 30 was arrested at the airport during the inward screening of South African Airways.
If the suspect had succeeded smuggling in the drug into Nigeria, she stood to reap the sum of N1 million from her sponsors.
A statement by the spokesman of NDLEA, Mr. Mitchell Ofoyeju said that the suspect had white powdery substance which tested positive for cocaine with a gross weight of 535 grams.
While responding to the woman’s arrest, NDLEA Commander at the Lagos airport, Ahmadu Garba said that the incident is being investigated and immediately the agency was through with its investigation Ms. Ijeoma would be charged to court for prosecution.

He explained that the suspect holds a National Diploma holder in Mass Communication and confessed that she took part in the illicit business because she needed money for her business.
She allegedly confessed, “I work as a hair stylist in Brazil where l reside for the past two years. I studied mass communication, but because of lack of job, I work as a hair stylist in Brazil. I was approached to smuggle cocaine to Nigeria and I accepted because of the money involved.

“I needed money for my personal problem. The drug was prepared inside brassiere and given to me to put on. I did not know how it was packaged. My role was to smuggle the drug to Nigeria and collect the sum of N1 million.”
The suspect hails from Enugu State.

Sincerely as a doctor I won't advice marriage btw As and As. I have seen many Ss suffering and dying causing a lot of problems for the family concerned. There are lots of pain seeing your child as an Ss suffering with all the different complications associated with HbSs. But if dey bent on getting married they need d following :
1. Rich I mean wealthy enough to foot Medical bills
2. Compromise on some ethical standards on abortion
3. Be ready to undergo prenatal screening once pregnant at about 13week to detect weda the baby is Ss
4. Ready to abort all Ss baby if dey can't go through the stress of caring for one.

There are now centres in Nigeria ( even in ikeja) for fetal screening if unborn baby is Ss but still very expensive.

I have a patient currently with such dilemma. She had 3 Ss children - 1 died and just 1 As children. She is currently pregnant with twins but 1 of the twins is Ss from the fetal screening done 2 weeks ago.


So dey should properly weigh the options and make informed decision.

A Nigerian Athlete, Tosin Adeloye has been banned by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) for testing positive to drugs.

The Nigerian 4x400m women’s relay team, due to the recent development. has been banned from participating in the 2016 Olympic Games holding in Rio, Brazil, next month.

The IAAF noted that the ban placed on the women team was because one of them, Tosin Adeloye tested positive to drugs during the Confederation of African Athletics (CAA) Super Grand Prix/Warri Relays in Warri, Delta State on July 24th last year.

Adeloye has been banned for eight years by the IAAF and all results of hr individual and joint events will be disregarded

I can tell you that service has been suspended by airtel management. I think they can't just fund it but it will make them look unreliable. What?! Airtel management and marketing department is a flop. I had to use the MTN 25 for 500mb this night as usual.
