I feel very confident about my AC tomorrow and I hope to make new friends tomorrow *wink* any nairalander havn their assessment by 1pm 2mao shud holla. |
gaphary: Lool. Abuja people just lock up. |
astevee: |
Dynssy: Abuja people locked up?? U shd atleast get ur facts straight b4 saying hateful things. If u read up d thread, u'll find dat abt 3 of us shared our experiences with d house.I am responsible for what I say, and you are responsible for what you understand. Shikena! |
jdbabzy: @Shenkron thank you for ur kind words. I did what I had to do; its what helped some of us get d best outta d university system. Like I said before, those God has prepared for this job wud surely get it; whether or not pple fill dem in on how their ACs went or not.A big and Resounding AMEN!!! |
jdbabzy: If my memory serves me well, they said they have enuf room for as many people; they jes need to use dis assessment to determine if we all have what it takes to be FirstBankers.@ jdbabzy, I really respect you for the breakdwn you gave on the day you had your assessment. Words cannot express how grateful I am, unlike the Abuja peeps that locked up. The job is already ours.. My assessment is tomorrow by 1pm and I'll surely share my experience here. One love and success to everyone having their assessment today |
xtanburg: @ all, I've been reading thru ds thread, quite interesting butThank you so much for this, God bless you. ur the only one who has really broken down the assessment centre stages for us in bits. |
einstein_e: Next month? Lol. Babe, the recruitment process would still be on by December. And who said I was a babe? Its possible dat some people would resume training school next month given that the assessment centre covers the whole recruitment exercise and it would be in batches #Just saying |
Godysien: My dear friend, if u are gud in computer already, why not make out time to learn power point shortly 4rm a smart person within few days to achieve what u want in life. If u fail to perfect ur presentation on ur day, well, u'll likely be on + or -. This affected most of my friends i knw. So go and pay d sacrifice. Gud luck! Thanks my dear, I took your advice and learned from two good friends. It wasn't hard at all. Thanks once again. I wish all of us in this race the best. I was also Wondering how many questions d short test wud entail. Would appreciate an Answer. I would Also like to know if we would Be given enough time to write up our presentation and present it using a power point (Like say one hour?) |
mobolas: Got same too.No oo, I shall not be there one day, I shall be in FBN training school unfailingly next Month ![]() |
Just got a Text from workforce stating dat the assessment has been postponed |
Godysien: Congrats to the would-be fbn colleagues! Pls note that Assessment Centre Exercises normally takes bw 8 to 10 hours of intensive activities for each set, so tighten ur belt well. Corporate dressing is basically required, so go, get, iron and package ur suit well for ur day. Exercises include: paper basd test, oral interview, group task, individual task and finally presentation of ur task using power point. Pple do fail @ this stage, while others do also fail @ either d doc/med screening stage and Training School finally. Note: if u are using Neco u are @ a higher risk, while Waec is d gogo- u knw what i mean(DOB being carried by Waec cert is the magic). It is not that fbn doesn't accept Neco, but delay is pre-eminent. Pls don't pm me. Just ask ur reasonable questions on this platform. Wishing u success @ d remaining stages of ur career pursuit!Helo dear, thanks for the break down, but I have never used a power point in my life. Will this be a flaw even if I do well in all other stages. This. Is. My only. Fear and. I. Dnt knw if there is any remedy to that before the assessment. Anyone in the house with. Useful advice should please help me |
I wrote my test at unilag ETC, my text message said the assessment for successsful candidates in Lagos starts on wednesday and dat further details wud be communicated in the next 48hrs. I heard the assessment would involve a short test for each candidate, panel interview and group case study, then individual presentation or so. No topics specifically but everyone. Should try and read up any recent happenings in the country that. Revolves around the banking sector, anything dat would make Or mar the banking sector( according to. What I read on. A thread sometime ago. Successful people after dis assessment would be invited for medicals and documentation and then training school comes next. I cnt wait! |
Helo guys, I got a message from workforce at exactly 11:30pm stating dt I'll be contacted in d next 48 hours for d next stage. Woohooo!! Honestly I had given up before now on ever being called by wrkforce concerning FBN graduate trainee programme. Whatever the assessment is about, I hope to nail it by God's grace. |
my dear i refuse to give up as well. maybe there are underground issues which wema bank is trying to solve before embarking on the training school programme.. they could call us next year. but for the mean time lets try and keep ourselves busy. it is well |
Please who got a Tecno N9 tab here in Lagos? If so where did you get yours and what is the address? |
4llerbuntu: is this your usual account?Let's assess your last few posts. Firstly, you call me stupid while you're mistaken me for another person whom I know nothing of. Just because you have been insulted by various other posters because of your inconsiderate and biased review of Tecno N9, doesn't therefore mean that I am several anonymous posters acting as one person. Also touching upon the subject of stupidity, why Mr.Genius do you find it so hard to use correct grammar in your posts? Hypocrisy I daresay? I have seen other threads on the comparisons of low-end devices to high-end. On what basis does that make me thick? Seeing how you expect so much from a cheap product and tell me I'm stupid for insulting you with no cause? I beg to differ. Finally, my account isn't new. I haven't been posting much here because I have a life to live. You know, meeting friends, family time, not creating pointless arguments on the internet. Please leave the Tecno users to enjoy their products. |
4llerbuntu: My admin officer got marketed and plunked money on this deviceThis post is a prime example of how thick some people can be. Why would you expect a 70k worth of hardware in a 35k device? Please stop embarrasing yourself and don't shame people for using a budget product just because it doesn't suit your high expectations. Its 35k for God's sake use your damn sense! |
What is happening with wema bank oo. Its more dan a month since d assessment |
stilldre01: pls i nid ur help on how to pass workforce questions , i got an invite for first bank test thru workforce bt i failed dr test i wrote fr wema bank. Guys pls i need advice, is der negativ markin??The thing about passing workforce questions is always starting with ur strengths and tackle ur weaknesses at the end. For example, I solved the english questions first in d wema workforce test, and what I did was to read the question before going to d passage, and that was d tactics I used, after solving the english, I skipped the maths and went onto the abtstract reasoning questions cos I love them, then I solved the maths last becos I knew it would be time consuming considering the fact that calculators were not allowed. I still didn't finish the whole maths questions at the end, but I was sure of at least scoring 25marks and I passed. I don't know I my approach will work for u but it sure worked for me. Remember u can skip questions, so start with ur strongest section and tackle the difficult ones at the end. I hope I have been of help to you. |
rectur: @all who did d interview on d 24th May, has anyone heard frm Wema yet??they have not called anyone of us yet, dont worry, if they do, thisn thread will be flooded by messages ![]() |
rectur: @shenkron u r ryt, d thread is just too quiet, d interview was cool, though nt wat was expected, u 4got to add d lil' essay n assessment part, I knw we'll hear frm them soon.Seriously,am sure if I hadn't said anything it wud have still been as silent as a grave yard. The essay was soo unexpected, I almost freaked out and was blank at a point, but thank God I was able to put something down. At least they'd fall in love with my writing (lol). We'll be fine in d end. |
yahooz: I cald d hr som days b4 d interview, bt d lady said dt our batch ws d last interview batch & dt it wnt b possible...Sorry to hear that dear, but why were u not able to come that day? Was it d timing? I hope u applied for d first bank graduate trainee programme. |
kohler: You seem to b d only 1 still talking about this.I was also there for the interview, every sms I receive nowadays I always assume it is from wema b4 checking.I have a strong feeling we would hear from them before this week runs out.I know right? Everytime I get a text msg I assume same also,God help me not to turn psycho before they eventually get back to us, but I have an insider friend and she says they are not through yet with marking our essay, hence the delay, so let's keep our fingers crossed till friday hopefully. |
everyone on this thread has been silent for like God knows how long. no one wants to share his or her experience at their assessment. i fink wema is going to be a cool place to start with and i am so looking forward to starting a career there. my assessment wasnt bad at all, 2-man panel, case study at the individual and group level, and we were told that they would get back to us this week. dont know why its taking so long, i mean its tuesday already right? ![]() |

mhoo: To the best of my knowledge, cut off is 80% so I don't feel bad that I no get mail o... Congrats to those successful though! All the best!80%? That's rather high if u ask me,I guess u know someone who works there. Goodluck to those who made it in their interviews. |
topefisayo: Good Morning, I just received a message from Procter & Gamble saying I was successful in the test held and that I will be kept informed about the next step. Who else got the mail?i am happy for you dear, i also wrote the test on same day but havnt heard anything. altho i didnt finish my maths buth i am sure i didnt fail d test. maybe they did the test by the top highest scorers. |
