No. Salary can also be paid by cash. However, this must be explained to the ECO.

You can have as many salaried job as permitted by Nigerian laws. All that you need is to show proofs (payslips, letter of introduction from employee)
Thank you for your clarifying response

Good day everyone
I would like to know, must salary be paid through check from the company to make it acceptable for visa purpose.
Will it be wrong to pay salary by cash deposit.

Would having two salaried jobs from 2 different organisation hamper the success of an application, will the ECO find it impossible for one to have two jobs.

Thank you

The ECO would normally expect that you have a separate saving account for savings. Having said that, it will be difficult for you to declare the amount in current bank account as savings, since this can also be regarded as unspent fund. I would suggest that you since your bank account is healthy and good enough to go, you do not need to declared any savings. The ECO will evaluate your income via a vis your monthly expenditure to compute your financial eligibility for a UK visit visa.
Thank you ekpotek

If you're filling the new online form. And if your answer is yes. You will need to enter an amount that represents your savings with documents to support it.
Yes - the new online form
My bank statement reflects my salary and money have saved up after each months spending. My question is for the amount to be stated, will it be appropriate to state the closing balance as my savings and submit the bank statement as the document you talked about.

2. 250,000
3. 50,000

Kindly assist ,what can I do

The decision

You have submitted bank statement for ***bank .these shows your salary going in and a balance of *** . This balance is disproportionate to ur stated income once financial commitment have been deducted and it is not clear how you have managed to save over 3 times the opening balance in the reporting period . The bolded part especially is getting me all confused
