A little research I made (Canada is like the US in terms of job seeking ) they can allow you seek for a job with a TRV , as a visitor or Tourist , but once you have a job , you have to switch to work permits . The company has to send you LMIA to work, and most times , it's allowed that you can apply inside Canada.

That being said, you need an offer letter to apply for an LMIA ( this usually comes from your employer as well as the contract letter showing how much your salary is) there and then you can apply for a work permit.
Canada wants everything documentary.
That's as far as I know. The experts here can add or debunk.

I need the guidance of anyone here in UK, London that applied for Canada visiting visa and submitted and collected their passport. In my own case, I just got the request to submit my passport today and it kind of clash with my travel to Morocco in the next 30 days. How long does it take you to get back passport after submitting to VFS london.

Applied June 1st 2022.
Husband as principal applicant for my mum and I.
Hubby Biometrics still valid,
Mum and I did ours 6 and 7th June respectively
Silence and silence
Sent them a mail in Jan and got a generic reply
Hubby checked randomly last night and the mails were literally being updated as he was checking. I say that because my mums own dropped, he called me to say mummy has been given and then mine dropped, his was saying validating biometrics or so, refreshed again and it had dropped.

I just saw your comment and went to check applications I submitted on behalf of my aunt and (her son)my cousin, visit visa to come and see myself and my other cousin who is my aunt's son

I submitted Jan 10, my aunt did not need biometrics as she gave them in 2016 and they were still valid
My cousin did his biometrics Jan 16
Today Jan 24, their profiles says: "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements"!!!
Although it still says "We are processing your background check,..." but fingers crossed

I am super excited because last year, my dad's application from submission to PPR was May 31 to Nov 7th

I did not dream of this speed, except the "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements" no more indicates what it used to.
