Nairalanders, to whom much is given,much is expected. i went for my interview today in lagos, it was a success after 2 denials in 2010 and 2013 respectively. i took this forum like an handout or SOP. i just ve to give back to the house ,this is how my transcript goes:

VO- can i have ur passport pls
me-ok
VO- why are u going to the US
Me- am going for a Cyber summit
VO- How did u get to know about the summit
Me- I replied, i got to know abt it from the internet
VO- what did u do for your company
Me- i finished him here for real stated all my job duties with boldness, i am a data........ i do dis and dat for my Network company, he didnt ask me to stop until am done with all my duties
VO- Are u married?
Me- Yes
VO - have u got kid?
ME- Yes ,2 kids
VO- he typed profusely for like 4mins, my heart was almost out of my mouth, i was really prepared, even with the fasting and all the silent quranic recital in me.
VO- Have u traveled before?
Me- Yes to UK many twice
VO- To go and do what?
Me- first time for a conference and second time with family for vacation
VO- i dint even hear anytin again until the magical word came out< i have to approve your visa pls pik it up on

i almost explode, buh i quickly control myself chap chap. i bless God because my night tahajud n fasting isnt for fun. that was it oo my good people of nairaland. Lets just be truthful,concise and maintain a good eye contavt wth the VO. amidst all, PRAYYYYYY

He got his permanent resident thru lottery since 2011

Pls gudm all the gurus in the house, i have a challenge and it goes thus: My sister's hubby in USA sent an invitation letter and all necessary documents to his wife and only daughter to come visit for 2 weeks, The hubby is having a permanent resident already, i am to book an appointment for both anytime soon, whats her chance of being granted d visa plsss.

Gud day to all d gurus in d house, my 2yrs visa expires with that of my wife and kids, i am renewing 5yrs for mysef, 2yrs for my wife as against d 6months dat expired and 6months for my 2 kids as against the 6months that expired. pls is this a good decision for me? also can 1.1m acct balance be good to go for this family trip?? pls Justwise and others help me out oooo

pls house once again, my interview is just around d corner,i made a booking to travel on 30th Nov but now that xmas is here, can i refill anoda form to make my trip during xmas period since am going with my family for vacation instead of going on a normal date and come bak b4 xmas. all info is welcum pls!!

Pls all the gurus in da house, i am applying for a US tourist visa for a family of 4, we ve travelled together twice as a family to UK,but our uk visas expired some months ago, pls can we apply for US now or renew first?? pls house help!!!

My family and i travelled sometimes in Nov 2013 ti UK, i spent 3 weeks with them and i left them in the UK with my sister anyway but thety ended up stayin for 9 weeks out of the 6 months visa issued to them. my 2 kids and my wife 6months each and i am on 2yrs multiple. all our visas expired now, we re all due for renewal, pls is there any implication for them staying for 9 weeks which was not wat they filled in the form b4 getting the visa pLS ADVICE URGENTLY!!!

so i shuld still say i have someone in the US? secondly,will i apply wth my properties business or my monthly jobs details info? i thought i can just ignore the fact that i ve somebody in the US and start a fresh and genuine information about myself and family.

My status and job has changed, i now work in a different place entirely, now i am married wth kids, now i have travel experience to uk many times wth my family. so what do i do?...Do i still have to use my broda info or go for tourism wth my family in a different way wthout any brothers info. tnx

The VO asked how did my brother gets into the US? i paused i wasnt prepared to travel then anyway, i goofed. and i also have all the detailed documents of my brother then, i was asked series of question except that, so i was denied. i applied alone then anyway, i wasnt married. Whats my chance now and how do i go about it this time to get a chance of success??

Pls i want to apply for a tourist visa wth my family, my wife is a house wife wth 2 kids, we ve both travelled to Uk for sightseeing before, i was once denied the US visa sometimes in 2010, i filed that i was goin to visit my broda in US that yr but was refused. now my workin status has changed, i owns properties in lekki, i do monthly job in a reputable leasing coy, am also into property wth my own registered company, i ve abt 1.2m in property acct, Pls gurus, wchich do i present to the COS? my monthly job info or my property thing?

@Okwudiri vey many tnx for ur kind gesture, we ve filed an appeal with successful outcome since 31st of dec 2012, still waitin for the home office ring for passport submission onward for the the visa re-issue.no ring yet from them ooo its takin for too long.

She dint actually indicated that she was going to see her friend , but the major issue now is that wat will be my own fate anytime am ready to go to the UK wth this my family issue simply because my passport nos is stated on my babys visaa by the british high commission that he can only be accompanied by me or by his mum to the UK. Now they were both refused for entrying and also that their visa was cancelled, case is still on, we av filed all our defence and paid all the necessarybills levied against us for the appeal. I want to travel now so wats my chance? i have my visa already 2yrs.

My baby's paasport is carryin my own passports number and that of his mother too, so i dnt knw if dey wuld have coppied my passport number from that of my wife or baby, cos am their sponsor and the husband to the woman in question.i have been wanting to travell to UK since last yr, but i am just fidgetting cos i dnt knw the uk border agency intentions on the case matter. apparently an appeal has been file and all necessary procedures has been undergone and are were in place to get the decision on the matter. pls advice

My people, so wats d conclusive option to the issue stated in here? I was also a victim of such but was directly affected by my wife and son< they were refused entry into UK buh hope its not goin to affect me as the father any time i wish to travel to UK on my own without them? cos there case is yet to be decided by the immigrations. we filed in an appeal by my solicitor, so we still awaits their decision on this. pls anybody with a good advice on wat to do
