If a bsc holder is going tru DE its cus u want a specific choice nt a fall back.well, BSC or N̩̥✽̤̥̣̣̣̣ Bsc dosent brings about choosn d fallback, its only ά̲̣̣̣̥ matter of choice, if u̶̲̥̅̊ av d confidence in taking d risk, it is well ♍γ̲̣̣̥ sister. The Secretary to the Government of the Federation on Friday announced the release of N30 billion to 61 universities in the country to execute projects and pay of allowances. The former Senate President made this known during a meeting with Pro-Chancellors and Vice Chancellors of Public Universities. Anyim said N100 billion is to resolve infrastructure deficits and N30 billion for earned allowances for university staff. He also narrated how much of the 2009 agreement the federal government has fulfilled, especially its efforts to resolve the bone of contention- the earned allowances by staff. “From the foregoing, it is obvious that the Federal Government has demonstrated sufficient commitment to the implementation of the 2009 FG/ASUU (Academic Staff Union of Universities) Agreement. “By this, it is clear demonstration of commitment to revitalise the university system, government hereby, urges every staff of the nation’s universities to return to work as all issues are being resolved. “With particular reference to the contentious issue of “Earned Allowance’’, every staff of the universities that is so entitled should verify his claim with his university council and accordingly get paid. “President Goodluck Jonathan is fully committed to bringing the students back to school and appreciates the patience of parents and students. “Government is making every effort to revitalise the university system, ’’ Anyim said. Also, Prof. Kimse Okoro, the Chairman, Committee of Pro-Chancellorsof Federal Universities, commended the government for its efforts. Okoro called on chancellors to use the funds judiciously and appealedto ASUU to show some understanding. Justice Adolphus Karibi-Whyte, the Chairman, Committee of Pro-Chancellors of State Universities, said that the institutions wouldput more efforts to ensure that regulations were followed. |

kunlexy4real009: To be sincere to u I'm also in d same shoe but I didn't apply last year I obtained d form dis year bt yesterday I went to ui to submit my transcript cus I study accounting in d polytechnic ibadan wit a cgpa of 4.2 and I was told dat dey can collect it,dat dey didn't biz admin,banking and finance or even public admin talk less of accounting except u want to A'level certificate so my people if u are using 1 of d include course above to apply to ui,pls and pls don't put ur mind cus d admission will nt be guaranted.I feel sad when dere admission officer is xplaining all dis to me yesterday he said unless if I want obtain for dere DLC programme.so be wiseBy any chance, were u̶̲̥̅̊ allowed 2 put down ur name on d register book? |

Asb4love: .UI doesnt conduct exam 4 direct entry aspirant so keep calm,and be prayerful,also, i was told @undergr admin office dat strong o'level and good grades in transcript(4 d.e candidates) increase our chance of been admitted.wen did UI starts countin Olevel grades 4 DE candidates? I dnt think so coz 2 out of my frnds dat got admitd lst year did nt have high grades in dere Olevel, even 1 as C6 in al nd C4 in yoruba only, nd he was on d DE 1st list! So I fink d policy dosent change abt dat nd if it dose, al is well coz am avin good grades in mua Olevel,,,wishn al of us best of luck**white flag |
