PORT HARCOURT – There was crying and wailing in Aluu community, Ikwerre Local Government Areas of Rivers State, on Saturday, as gunmen suspected to be members of a cult group allegedly gunned down 23 persons, including a nursing mother.

Vanguard learnt that on eve of Friday, the gunmen reported to be members of Greenlanders cult invaded Aluu in an alleged reprisal against the Icelanders and killed the alleged number of persons.

This is the most condescending thing I have heard today. The state government raise funds from "bailout" and taxes. They are not doing us a favor because that is why we voted for them in the first place. This same "with the fear of God" statement is what is keeping us from being more demanding of our leaders. It is quite pathetic.

You can remove the fear of God from the statement, enter Ur state governor's office and demand more. ....after all we are in democracy
