But with the new arrangement that has elevated Musa to the position of Minister of Defence, the question now is:

Will Bello Matawalle be playing the role of a junior minister under him?

The Tinubu government had stated that a Minister of State is NOT junior to the substantive Minister but each is a Minister in his/her own right and they’re meant to be working together to achieve the goals of the ministry. I believe it was so stated when Bianca Ojukwu was made Minister of State for Defence. Check it out!

I mean, he made it clear that he wanted to continue his PhD but was "begged" to stay behind. He attended a ministerial screening and was rejected due to security concerns.

He felt used and dumped.

That is unfair.

Who is asking him not to be?
Who is stopping him from being whatever he wants to be outside of living on government largesse all his adult life?
They denied him ministerial position and he has chosen to pull down the entire socio-economic fabric of the Nation because of that.
