Why must he name something big after Achebe? Was Achebe the twin brother of Soyinka? Even if he was, do they both have to swim the same waters in life? Perhaps people like you should have insisted that Soyinka should also have died when Achebe was called home. What a ridiculous demand on the President!! ![]() |
WikeTheDrunk:Did you not understand that funds will now be channeled directly to the ELECTED Local Govt Administrators? How does the State Governor come into the matter again? To implement what? ![]() |
HeatSeeker:Of course she’s British….but obviously of Nigerian ancestry, with a name like Kemi. Should there be any debate about that? ![]() |
kingsways:If you add two and two correctly, you should get four! ![]() |
What a load of trash! Why didn’t they use your so-called EndSars anger to support Sowore who was a more worthy Activist with a large following from ALL sections in the 2019 Presidential elections and was also running for President in 2023? ![]() Truth is …the Obidient Movement is a sectional agitation (with a tint of IPOB support) geared towards the attainment of a President of Ibo extraction. EndSars itself was later turned into a sectional political agitation….hence, Nnamdi Kanu could be heard shouting on video that the rioters should Kill, Kill , Kill them All. Burn Lagos Down!! ![]() |
OboOlora:Some people just prefer to vocalise through their anus in a public forum. How shameful. ![]() |
givedemwotowoto:As they say…..Common sense in not common! ![]() |
IfnobeGod20:Sorry I don’t discuss serious issues with kindergarten dullards! ![]() |
Hilda2024:Since you say you will not be the last to experience this in history, you can also send your children or other members of your family to Gaza now to go and experience what’s going on there ….so they can be well-prepared! ![]() |
SpecialAdviser:Nigeria can NEVER be divided peacefully….therefore Nigerians have to learn to live together peacefully and harmoniously! Nigeria is just like America…they may have dividing tendencies (Republicans against Democrats, etc.) but they cannot break up because the consequences would be dire and unimaginable….husbands turning against wives, brothers against sisters, etc. The earlier we realise this, the better for millions of our citizenry who are living in abject poverty while the well-to-do are distracting them with talk of break-up, sit-at-home and all sorts of rubbish instead of focussing on their education and lifting the populace out of poverty! |

God1blessBiafra:Every Region or Tribe has something that they bring to the table but Nigeria is a developing country in which many of the available resources are yet to be fully tapped and exploited. It does not mean that others bring nothing to the table. When the country operated Regional government, every region had something to bring to the table and things worked fine until the military struck! As of this moment, Oil is the main resource that every part of the Nation depends upon. Gold may be discovered in abundance in Benue State tomorrow or other minerals may be discovered in the South West tomorrow in sufficient quantities to feed the entire nation, then they can all tap into that to feed everybody. That is what being Your Brother’s Keeper is all about. A section of the country should not plan to run away with what can feed the entire country….that is nothing but self-centredness, selfishness and short-sightedness! As for what is good and desirable that you wrote about, imagine your sister wanting to marry her sweetheart whom she loves very much (that’s good and desirable) but if the guy is broke or a scrounger, that wouldn’t help put food on the family table, neither will it assist her in sending her junior ones to school if that assistance is needed. So, what is good or desirable is not always what is best all round for all concerned! Think about that. Goodbye! ![]() |
God1blessBiafra:Yes, of course it’s all because of Resources….better realise that. There are over 200 million people inhabiting the geographical space called Nigeria without sufficient “exploited resources” to go round. I don’t want my people to starve, you don’t want your people to starve, nobody wants their people to starve. So, you better believe it’s all about sharing of resources. So, Kanu cannot expect to take the resources which everyone is presently sharing without getting one hell of a fight. That’s the plain truth….better believe it!! ![]() |
God1blessBiafra:Kanu was reported to have declined the Offer of a Biafra without parts of the South South. This gives the impression that he’s only interested in the Oil resources of those States. That’s where the problem lies because the rest of Nigeria (particularly the North) will Never allow him to go with the Oil resources while they languish in abject poverty. Check it….in case you’re too young to understand what is involved! ![]() |
God1blessBiafra:Is South South part of your so-called Biafra? Have you conducted a Referendum to ascertain which States wish to be part of your Biafra? What makes you think all your neighbours (with established Oil & Mineral resources) wish to be part of your Biafra? Are they sooo dumb that they cannot manage their own resources without being part of your Biafra? Are the Igbos willing to break away from Nigeria without the other South South States that do not wish to be part of your Biafra? These are questions you should address. I do not believe that majority of people are “afraid” to have a Nigeria without Igboland! ![]() |
Ttipsy:Just take a trip to Gaza and experience what awaits Nigerians who do not understand the statement that “consequences will be dire”….then you can make your choice and advise your children accordingly! ![]() |
God1blessBiafra:Well, if they cannot live together harmoniously, then they will be forced to perish together in penury….just like the Israelites and Palestinians are doing right now. The choice is yours! ![]() |

Kukutente23:That bolded part of your post tells a lot about YOU and your infantile reasoning. I don’t waste my time with people who get their information from second-hand story-telling sources. When you post in a public forum, be very careful before bragging about anything….because you KNOW NOT who you talk to. Goodbye! ![]() |
Kukutente23:My friend, let me repeat this for the last time…..OBJ was NEVER popular in the South-West during his entire Presidency ….he was imposed on the entire country in 1999. Anyone with a sense of history will tell you that! ![]() Btw, since you talked about age, I can already surmise that you were not even born when OBJ was imposed on Nigeria in 1999. So, I can only feel some pity for you bcuz that’s the story they related to you during your story-telling gatherings in your villages. Waste of precious time discussing this with people who were in kindergarten at the maternal time! ![]() |
Kukutente23:You were asked a simple Question….how did Atiku save Tinubu from OBJ/PDP onslaught on the South-West governors in 2003 when OBJ was NEVER accepted in any State in the South-West at that time? Were YOU present where the Rigging machinery was being oiled and put in motion? ![]() Yet you’re prepared to SWEAR to it bcuz some story-teller “mentioned” it a number of times and was simply IGNORED for making claims without logical reasoning! Is it by committing an ILLEGALITY (RIGGING) that you save someone in a Democracy? Of course, Atiku’s assertion simply had to be ignored as Nonsense, which it was. Hwvr, die-hard Northern lackeys can believe whatever makes them feel good….it’s totally inconsequential. ![]() |
IfnobeGod20:Meandering? ![]() Someone you claim was inconsequential in the politics of the South West in 2007, yet he carried the entire South West to abandon the party they had nortured for years and MERGE it with another group to form a most viable RULING party for eight years AND COUNTING….. You shouldn’t need a story-teller like Atiku to convince you about who had the political wherewithal to move the political machinery of the South-West even back in 2006/7 because it was the turn of the North to produce a President. Atiku can tell his stories to the Marines for all I care! Discerning individuals are in no doubt as to who helped whom! ![]() |
Kukutente23:Read your highlighted comment above! How did Atiku save Tinubu from OBJ’s onslaught? ![]() Are you saying that You and Atiku were locked in with them while figures were being manipulated to rig out the South Western governors? If you were not present, how come you’re so willing to swear by Atiku’s version because he repeated it soooo many times? Put your thinking cap on, my friend and be more objective about the stories people carry to your doorstep! ![]() |
IfnobeGod20:Refer to your comments in bold! According to you, Tinubu was not ‘heart and soul’ of AC in 2007 to help Atiku realise his failed ambition? Also, Tinubu could not mobilise his party leaders to wholly join to form AC? Nevertheless, a few years later, this same Tinubu carried along the entire South West together with Edo in ACN to form APC which continues to be the most formidable party in Nigeria’s political horizon! Atiku should tell his stories to the Marines and the likes of you gullible ones! ![]() |
Read Atiku’s account: Quote: “Shettima needs to be reminded that Atiku did not run under the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), but Action Congress (AC). AC came out of a coalition of ACD (Advance Congress of Democrats), formed by mainly PDM members and other associates and Tinubu’s faction of AD.” Unquote. The above statement by Atiku actually puts a lie to Atiku’s account of who helped whom politically. Could Atiku have got the ticket if Action Congress (AC) did not exist as a coalition? Was Tinubu’s Alliance For Democracy (AD) not part of the AC that gave him the ticket? So, if Tinubu’s AD had refused to play ball in joining the coalition, how could Atiku have become the Presidential candidate of the coalition? Atiku should forever be grateful to Tinubu for helping him to “save face” by providing him a platform to run as Presidential candidate at that time. He should stop trying to change the narrative. Some people were not born only yesterday, nor do they have short memories like him! ![]() |
atiku4President:I wonder who these reasonable people are? The hordes of sit-at-home people who refuse to develop their own place? Please don’t make me laugh, I beg! ![]() |
This is really ludicrous….one could smile at this kind of foolishness if it weren’t so sad. Please let them remove Lagos from its location in the South West and link it with the North Eastern Kanuri Kingdom. What imbecility! ![]() |
What a load of trash! How pessimistic can someone get?! ![]() |
ChristCee:Using words like ‘the country is finished’ certainly does not give those who are struggling here under the baking sun the encouragement to look forward to brighter days. I believe we should be more sensitive in this regard. Btw, I also live outside the country and want it to be great! |
ChristCee:If the country is finished, what are people like you hanging around for? I wonder ooo! ![]() |
