The largest gas reserves by far in Nigeria are in Igboland.
Imo and Anambra lead the way. Abia and other Igbo areas of the Niger delta, are representing solidly also.

The reason why he wants to leave the PDP is because they still want to field Atiku in the next presidential elections
and so? With a SE VP that is the best bargain for the Igbos as at today.

Fielding a SE presidential candidate will not sell cos there'll be obvious gang-up from you know who.

Mind you umahi can never get the APC ticket. Its a very looong pipe dream. Lets even say per-adventure SE were to get it, you think okorocha, orji kalu etal who have being eying the presidency will allow it?

Umuahi is just a greedy and selfish murafucker, highest he can get is that apc will make him campaign co-rdinator in the SE.

Meanwhile kudos to the woman

Freedom of association is free but Dave Umahi should really weight the odds very well before he leap.He should have a good foresight & political sagacity to fully understand the consequence of his impending defection.
Others have gone on this adventure before on both sides of the political divide but the rest is histroy.
i like the fact that he is decamping...good riddance.

The fool has alwaYs been pdp by day and apc by night. He is the number 1 governor fan of buhari in the SE, even yod us he is the vest president

Someone that applauded buhari and said he is delivering and performing, thst was since 2017'o.

Thesame fool who masterminded the labelling of IPOB as terrorist alongside other foolish SE governors

Let the fool go, i've always disliked him. Lets see the abracadabra that will fetch him the apc ticket

Having a functional refinery in the SE is a welcome development.

However i'm more worried about the process that produced and gave license to the operators and the transparency.

With a bigoted nepotist like buhari, even the dumbest person knows that the process was flawed

Suddenly northernors are investing in the east, why does it have to be natural resource? Why dont they build manufacturing companies or set up private firms in other sectors other than natural deposits?

Dem carry oil swear for una ?

i'm sure youre one of the dunces who support uoruba and others when they insult igbos that SE has no oil that its only a cup of oil, so what changed? SE now suddenly has oil and refinery suddenly built?

[s]Same way Nnamdi Kanu has been causing all other enthic groups. Learn to tolerate things if we ever as a nation want to improve our relevance politically. If you don't know, Igbos have politically lost out in everything, no thanks to Nnamdi Kanu and Igbos campaign of hate.
You all are yet to realize how damaged we are. Just wait till tge next general elections to observe how igbos will be rubbished.
The most painful thing is that we can't get Biafra and neither can we get the presidency because of continuous bantering.
Learn to tolerate people to get what you want. Stop creating enthic sentiments all the time. Listen!![/s]
all you wrote is balderdash

What stupid hate are you talking about?, and how loved were the igbos before Nnamdi kanu came with Ipob? Is it the north with their unprovoked killings since 1940's that are tolerant? Or is Yorubas with their oba of lagoon that are tolerant and not hateful?.

Ikwerre’s are Bini! The founder of Ikwerre called Akalaka is a Benin Prince (Pronounced Aka ‘l’ aka in Bini language). Ikwerre real name is Iwhnurọhna before the Igbos changed it to Ikwerre during the old eastern region.

The Oba of Benin will soon select the next Enogie to rule over his Ikwerre subjects. The Oba during his last visit to Governor Osanyeso Owaiken (formerly called Nyesom Wike) has informed Ogbako Ikwerre of his noble plans to change their social-cultural organization to Omo’n’edoIkwerregbovo.

To match words with action, the next Igue festival in former (Rumumoku) now called Oredomoku will come up in December. They will need five fresh Ikwerre heads for sacrifice during the ceremony. The aim of the human heads is to cleanse all form of Igbo connections in the now reclaimed Bini land. Osalogbua must be praised!

It's interesting you mention German. I'd compare the Igbo/Igboid distinctions with Germany and a host of ethnic-German communities in Europe in places like Austria, Switzerland, the Alsace-Lorraine region of France etc. Simplistically comparing the ties between Igbo speakers and our adoption of English as national lingua franca is disingenuous and dumb.
Never expect any sane or objective arguement from a yorubaman especially when its about Igbos. Its almost a scriledge/abomination

You are making claims about facts that does not make them true.

[s]You are telling bold faced lies without a shred of Evidence

Pause for one moment and realize that the slave trade though the eastern part of Nigeria was MAINLY IN "IGBO" slaves. That bears repeating

The bulk of slaves sold via Calabar and Ijaw territory were Igbo.
This went on not for a generation but for centuries.
Once again you had more sophisticated minority groups trading in Igbos as commodities for centuries

Looking at the geography it is obvious that Ikwerre territory would have been a conduit for these slaves .

It is understandable from a historical perspective why Ikwerre would reject the Identity of their erstwhile slaves whom they call Isuoma.

Ask Asari Dokubo he can confirm[/s]
So my statement about elechi amadi and his book are FACTS but are not true? What then makes it a fact if it isnt true?.

Cant you see you sound confused and stupid?

In any case i never expected any reasonable response from you, just as the rest of your comment are utter balderdash full of disjointed mischievious and bitter outright lies

Bros, truth be told, if i am igbo, i will be ashamed that Cross River, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Edo etc that has similar culture, faith etc with Igbos will rather chose the North over the Igbos. It's a shame and if i were you, i will take initiative and see how you can start rethinking your mindset, belief, mentality and start changing that from amongst the youth. So, in another twenty years, the narrative will be different. Now guess what, you won't do that, you are too filled with hate, believe in your own lies and too arrogant to accept the truth. Now about Biafra, follow the Brexit example, start with the local govt, then state and then National Assembly. Follow the process, do the work. The other time you were boasting and beating your chest, then the North gave you ultimatum to leave and you now calmed down. Now you started again, don't let Nigeria give you ultimatum oh... abi you think say na play?
quick question. Where you from and whats your tribe?

When I hear him speak and deny his ancestors, I laugh. The Nigeria kind of education is so weak, people can't reason outside the box.its like a black American denying that he is African even when their ancestors were brought to America as slaves.Igbo is a language not a place.the Igbo language is used as an identified for those that speak the language.u don't HV to be from the South East to be Igbo.i am from Asaba .Asaba is not South East. since I became wise I stopped saying I am Ibo.my education is not a waste and I won't allow myself to be a mumu.i refuse to be ignorant of my root. I reason in multiple directions and I am not a slave to the North.i don't owe anybody an apology.my parents told me to hate the Igbos of the East.i will not do that because we share the same ancestors.being a governor doesn't make a man wise.so I don't blame ur governor.
Noted! God bless you richly for not betraying common sense and truth. As for your parents, their judgement is left to God

Enlisted as an Igbo?
What does it mean to enlist as an Igbo?
Do people enlist in the Nigerian Army as Igbos?

What evidence do you have for this claim?
Do you know the book called 'the concubine'? Did you ever read it? If you did you would realise that the author, Elechi Amadi, wrote that book as a proud Igbo man.

Now just a quick question, that is if you can give a honest answer(even thou i know common sense reasoning and objectivity is alien from an average Yoruba man), is it possible that a man will have 2 ethnicities while he lived? Elechi Amadi was born a proud Igbo man but died an ikwere man? Can you honestly reconcile the confusion?

Him changing to negin to sing the ikwere tune started immediately after the civil war. So dont start arguing stupidly on what you have no knowledge about
