I totally understand where you are coming from.

If you check my posts here on Nairaland since 2016, you will see I've been pro-PDP and I still am.

But there's something Umahi said during his interview on Arise TV, that equity and fairness demands PDP should zone their presidential ticket to SE let it be that we tried and failed then that will be a different ball game.

We've formed the fortress of PDP since 1999, we deserve everything we are asking from PDP.

But it becomes troublesome when you mirror the inner schemings of Wike and NWC, you will see that they are still very much interested in Tambuwal getting the ticket with Wike as Vice. You see that SE has no place in their plan.

So, instead of sitting and watching them or waiting to fight for it, it makes sense to protest in time.

We need to play the politics instead of playing the good guy and begging.

For those who are not from the State, this is Umahi's hand work. The PDP Chairman in the State, Barr Nwaebonyi is Umahi's boy. He didn't decamp with Umahi to APC. Umahi's brother Austin Umahi is the South East Zonal PDP chairman. Another Umahi's brother Maxwell Umahi is also Zonal PDP Exco. Umahi left these men in PDP as moles to either destabilize or hijack the Party.
But PDP NWC was smart to have dissolved the exco immediately. Now the dissolved Umahi's camp in their dreams decided to suspend all the National Assembly members and members of the new exco set up by National PDP who refused to decamp with Umahi.
Umahi's plan was to hijack both PDP and APC in the State. Just today, immediately after his defection, APC dissolved it's State exco and appointed Umahi's commissioner as APC chairman in the State. He runs the State as family business so he wants to hijack the two parties.
APC bigwigs like the Hon Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu who is from Umahi's LGA and Senator Sunny Ogbuoji APC 2019 Governorship candidate in Ebonyi did not attend Umahi's welcome party today. These men know Umahi better. The real fight has begun in Ebonyi APC because Umahi is to domineering Tova fault. Time shall tell.
