What is derogatory in callng her an agege bread seller? Have u called somebody a bricklayer, enginneer, nurse, doctor, carpenter before?

Am happy an agege bread seller was found and picked, same way Model oluchi Oselling fruits was seen by an Mnet model scout when she was selling oranges I think, david was once called a shepherd boy and Joseph a slave boy. So what is wrong or derogatory in called her by her profession /trade from which she earns a legtimate pay? The most important thing is her real worth and destiny has just began..... Thank God for people like Ty Bello who have eyes that can see... Beauty beyond the pains, struggles, dejection and hardships in the land.
Na oluchi story wey I know be that oooo.. selling fruits for her mom but she say na lie, say her mama be nurse and she does not sell fruits........ and it was a family friend that told her to go for one modelling thing like that..

God located this girl
God opened her page

A second, a minute, a thought, a misfortune, a regret can change someone"s life either for good or bad just like Oluchi's story who God used a friend to change her from an ordinary girl to a global super model..

Fashion › Re: Rejected At A Beauty Pageant Because Of My Braids by shizzy7(f): 10:35am On Feb 07, 2016
mercy1998:
As a young aspiring model who grew up in the streets of South Africa with a nigerian last name life has not been so easy for me. I've always entered school beauty pageants and won most of them now I entered one of the biggest beauty pageant at our Varsity.

The story begins like this: you enter the competition online you send your details including a face picture and body picture so I sent my pictures but on my pictures that I sent I had a weave so they accepted my application and called me for an interview. I went to the interview with my braids to my suprise I found four judges Two Black ladies one white lady and a gay black guy. They opened my application and questioned my surname and said it sounds foreign I explained to them that my dad is from Nigeria immediately when I told them that they asked to see my passport I told them that I have an ID document I'm a valid citizen of South Africa I grew up here. I'm sure in their minds they thought I came illegally and probably bought the ID I felt offended by the look in their eyes. I asked myself how can an African person look down on another African Child.

The offensive comments kept on continuing when they asked how am I nigerian if I'm light skinned? Do I use bleaching creams or any other thing to make myself light? I was really offended just because I have nigerian genes does not mean I have to be dark my mom is South African not dark at all even my dad is not so dark so I has to show them my parents pictures.

One of the judges even said my braids look dirty and no girl come to a competition with braids I should get a Weave. I told her that Braids are my African identity I feel so real when I have them on when I have a weave I feel uncomfortable and it's really itchy.

Some South African people look down on other African Countries and their people it's actually sickening to see Black people judge me on my Blackness. so I should conform to the norm of having a weave and wearing lots of make up? Because I'm nigerian I'm automatically dark and a thief? They think they are white people forgetting that Whited actually hate them.

Took some selfies with my braids
This part shows that those judges are DUMB..."How am I nigerian if I'm light skinned"huh?

There are many fair(fairer than you) Nigerians who are not even mixed and did not bleach their skin mostly igbos....

And their stupidity continues online with some tumisang asking "if you're sure that your mum is s.an, Nooooo she's peurto Rican...

Priviledged turn to right

Ignorance is a case.
Na by force to pay for u? How can govt invest in a falure. Every investors are expecting good ROI return on investment.

So far the Osun State govt didnt stop their parent from paying or register them for waec, they have no right to do this.
But if govt wont allow them to pay by themselves and register that is when they have right to protest.
Otherwise they should all be punish for this babaric act.
Why did the government wait for waec registration to close before bringing out this policyhuh

Are they not supposed to enforce the policy next year since there's no way the parents can pay for their children because registration has ended.....

You are just blaming the students, the state government is incompetent after all the governor's child or relative does not attend any of those schools....

Go to Osun and ask. A lot more is happening in Osun than in states that are even getting more money, like Ekiti. And it is not a stupid policy. It is a policy to stop leakages. Government will sponsor those children, they will fail and return home. Only difference is government will have lost all those funds. Let us think carefully to see the sense in some policies
Ask yourself if the teachers are doing their jobs well......

You don't teach students the way they should be taught and you want to pay for their waec based on performance..

What performancehuh
The strikes embarked upon by teachers or the horrible learning conditions the students have to put up with...

Osun state government should just scrap state secondary schools because they're simply incompetent in managing them ..

Those students sat at home for about 4months last year due to striking teachers...

They were on t.v protesting non-seriousness of the teachers after the strike was called off...

Now the government is bringing out this stupid policy..
What is aregbesola using the state money to dohuh? Nothing is happening in that state..

All we need is the right President who will follow my laid down policies..

The first thing is for the president to dissolve/merge so many unnecessary authorities such as house of representatives, state house of assembly, Local government chairman e.t.c...We need their salaries.. (recurrent expenditure)

Secondly, Create a masterplan for every state in Nigeria which will be implemented...

I believe they can oppose it IF the President decides to sign....
MAN, NLC and other associations will also have a say in this issue....
