Ilekeh: Yep. I was like even if i wanted to cause wahala (as usual), it's not worth it. Trust me, Biafra yen, aa je ilu ogun (war). I'm gonna go cook my egusi and iyan now. Be back soon
Ko ya mi lenu sha. Their only unifying factor is abusing and hating Yorubas. Every Biafra thread relates back to one nincompoop mentioning Yoruba and the rest of the igbins follow suit, based on that one hateful comment. I hope Yorubaland never gets to that level of using hatred as a unifying factor. I've never seen an Ogun vs Ondo or Lagos vs ogun thread. @ the emboldened... We're peace-loving people who will ignore some things just for the sake of harmony..... One of the reasons why we're being called Cowards/Slaves.. |

slimbless: Nigeria singer Jodie who sang her hit song kuchi kuchi, and her believe that premarital sex is wrong did her traditional wedding yesterday at warri,Delta state, barely a month after getting engaged to her manager and Nigerian actor David Nnaji.
The wedding was a private event, but the pix managed to get leaked and there she is with a protruding stomach. I guess the "word easier said than done" played out here, or probably she was over fed #winks# Anyway, Happy married life Abegii, is this her husband the boy in "Dear Mother" ? Wonderful and resilient medical scientist........ Even came in for criticisms because his findings didn't go down well with top NFL executives who feared the sport's "dark side" has been exposed.
Coolest thing is there's a Hollywood Movie basesd on BENNET OMALU AND THE CTE DISCOVERY AND HIS BATTLES WITH THE NFL.
Name of the movie is "CONCUSSION"......*smiles*
Will Smith starred as BENNET OMALU.

Again, Nice work Miss Shizzy. Yes, I didn't want to write his story down... University of Nigeria, Nsukka alumni they fear me. If I'm to continue with this thread a lot of top people will be from that school both home and abroad.... |
Politics › Re: Shocking Difference Between President Buhari And The Indian Prime Minister by shizzy7(f): 1:53pm On Nov 01, 2015*. Modified: 3:41pm On Nov 01, 2015 |
Splashme: Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi: "My economic aim is to make India the biggest trading partner of Africa". Indian Economy is strong and in good position to do business with the rest of the world". . . .Modi
Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari: "Nigeria is so corrupt and the people are indiscipline. Powerful Nigerians are frustrating anti-graft war". Nigeria is broke and the people should brace for hardship. - Buhari
********************************************* ****** Moral Lesson: When you vote for NEPA Bill, you must surely get darkness. No Leader of any country will travel overseas and his own assignment is destroy his country
We know that Buhari is low academically and may not know that his only role while in oversea tour is to market Nigeria to Investors, the question remains, what is the job of his aides, advisers and economic Team?
No Investor will hear how Buhari describes Nigeria and decide to Invest in the country. Nigeria dropped from being No 1 Investment destination in Africa to 13th in just 4 Months of Buhari's govt. Since May 2015, no single foreign investor have entered Nigeria, and about 48% of them are taking their businesses to our neighbouring countries. You are a LIAR,... This is a typical example of how people's tongue can kill through MISINTERPRETATION,, http://punchng.com/2015/10/2660 this is the interview.. Who does not know that Nigeria is broke, even before buhari came into power?? Way better than the other academically high president who said Nigeria is not poor because::: Nigerians owns Private Jets Nigerians are the most traveled people Aliko Dangote is a Nigerian Our GDP is half a trillion $ Where did he say we should brace for hardship?? Where did he say Nigerians are indisciplined?? |

Celebrities › Re: Our Hypocrisy : Castigating Nigeria's But Accepting South Africa's Hip-hop! by shizzy7(f): 12:55am On Nov 01, 2015 |
PrettyHausaGirl: "It just cannot work here. Its not commercial enough. Abeg we no fit dance to this one" This are parts of the many excuses most music lovers in this country often give when faced with the question of a Hardcore Hip-hop song making the waves. It is rather sad that great lyricists like Modenine, Boogey, Kahli Abdu etc do not get deserving accolades, praise and airtime for the kind of music they do as people say they are too hardcore and the acceptance of their Music into the Nigerian market has been always extremely poor.
I can't barely recall seeing a Mode9 video been played more than thrice on Music Tv Channels like Soundcity, Nigezie, Hip Tv etc but then once the likes of Cassper Nyovest, Khuli Chana, Anatii, AKA, Da Les etc drop a new song, and by this I mean "core" hip hop tune, our TV stations embrace them and play it a lot, our radio stations now have South African songs on their charts. This happens, nevertheless while our own "core" hip-hop songs are ignored and not appreciated. Recently an upcoming artiste, Ola Dips sang about this as he bared out his pains on this situation.
Please do not get me wrong as I find nothing wrong with the growth of South African music in our country as I have to admit most of their songs are top notch but then isn't it mere hypocrisy and almost another afro-neo-slave mentality that we cannot support ours but easily accept other's?

If Dangote is truely greedy am 100% sure dat his parent or wife can tell him coz one of his family member will hear frm the public nd he will adjust at his own peril.
If Tinubu has mouth odour,ar u telling me dat his wife wnt tell him the truth nd seeking for way out? Except from your family, you shouldn't always listen and follow what people around you say about you... The Context of my previous post is "Outside Family" |

These tribal warlords must go and show the Kenyans the stuff we are made of .. @emboldened Nigeria has 250 ethnic groups, Over 500 languages, with different groups having superiority Complex..... till thy kingdom come, till eternity we'll continue with tribalism. Even in a family setting, people fight. Its left to you to either ignore & train your children to see everyone as One... What does the warlords want to show Kenya?? Sometimes, People around you tell you "what they think you want hear" and something else behind you... Nobody can tell Dangote that he is greedy Nobody can tell Tinubu that he has mouth Odour. Nobody can tell Yerima to his face that he's a cradle snatcher.... You should tell yourself some things, you can only speak for yourself. I don't get to meet people because I'm always indoors, so how will anyone know the sort of person I am?
if you seek validity from others, you may get deceived and manipulated. I know who and what I am sir, I know I'm decent and intelligent. I may not look like Toolz or dress like Eku, but I don't need to wait for someone to know that I'm beautiful and decent.
