jl115:Drop the link. No such video on youtube. |
jl115:You're clutching at straws. Don't blame wiki. Common sense! you can't be a Kenyan citizen playing for Kenya and your scores go to USA.. It's illogical. You don't need world bank, IMF, ITF, or world Tennis federation to inflict such a basic sense. |
jl115:I see SA-American in 1981 — when he was holding green card lottery. In 1982 — I see the American flag. |
jl115:My bro, if you're holding a green card, you're representing two nations - perhaps then before winning citizenship _ he represented both South Africa and America. If you win citizenship, then you're representing one nation. The one you took oath for.
|
jl115:You don't just become a US citizen out of nowhere. His major wins were in 1981/1982 when he was still holding USA green card. |
jl115:You sound ignorant, my G. Application for US citizenship takes more or less two whopping years to be approved. The naturalization processing time, from the time you file your citizenship application to when you attend the Oath of Allegiance ceremony, is currently between 18.5 and 24 months . Here is the major point: You don't hold US citizenship in the comfort of other nations. You need to have stayed in America for at least 5 yrs, or 3 yrs green card holding if you have a couple in USA for you be legible for citizenship application. Then plus 2years to process the citizenship --- meaning, you need at least 7yrs to 5yrs active stay in USA to win the chance to apply for citizenship. The guy you're talking about got his citizenship in 1982... And he won grand slam opens in 1981 -1982.Do you think he was playing for south Africa while waiting for his citizenship to be approved? |
jl115:Heck! His biggest achievement was in 1981 and 1982 when he was still in USA. He represented USA all those years... He was so loyal to USA until full citizenship was granted to him in 1982. So my bro, try another player... Not this one. No south African has ever won any grand slam title. |
jl115:I don't dispute that. My point is he's not a south African. If we talk about history, then yes... I can say he was once a SAn. Heck! Not a single source for all-time tennis players' ranking recognizes him as a South African. Even the wiki source that document African legends. Let's not force issues. If I tell you UK president is a Kenyan, will you Accept? ---- No. You won't. |
obaaderemi:Gorilla, Alpha men don't recognize d1ck suckers and nonentities. You'll wait for his response in your entire lifetime, lest you deactivate your moniker. Jl115 is not the useless desperate "Chokora" like afriq who is ready to dignify stupid replies with answers. |
jl115:Don 't stress yourself, Bozo. Evidence is right here... I don't dwell in history. Present yourself with status quo, or f*ck off.
|
jl115:It doesn't change the fact that he is still American by everything --- DNA, citizenship, ethnicity, etc. |
Shaytun:That is not close to worse --- street boiz/ homeless people ( we call them chokora) live in horrendous states unimaginable --- and it's not only in Kenya. I've seen normal Ghanaians extracting toxic fumes from tires and using them to smoke rodents and sea animals for dinner. They have spoilt the ocean so badly that no one can wish to visit there afterward. Nigeria is something else --- I've actually seen the obscene --- uncouth, and extremely terrifying videos from your ZOO. I won't even dare to post one cos that will mean an immediate ban. |
GeneralDae:Very useful. This is the way to go. Kenya is doing very fine. Only 9M people in Kenya live below the extreme poverty line.
|
gallivant:Lol This country should be disbanded from Africa. It's a disgrace. |
jl115:Lol, John kriek is American. .. He currently resides with his family in palm beach garden Florida. |
gallivant:Damn .. Brutal facts. |
jl115:But You're telling me history. Should history be used as a yardstick for that matter? |
jl115:It should bother you less when I say congrats to Boer -- cos they are. Also, kalenjins dominate marathon and long-distance races -- we refer to them as Kalenjins because they are. Kikuyus are dominant in safari rally --- Luhyas and luos are dominant in rugby --- Mijikenda are good at swimming... Etc. We should be proud of our races and ethnicities. |
obaaderemi:Glaucoma... Calm down your @sshole... You're a nonentity -- 'quoting me not' means nothing -- those are your fears. 1 + 1 = 2 ... Correct √ 2 + 0 = 2.. Correct √ Some things are prime movers of reproach... You don't need rocket scientists to dismantle and anatomize the ickle-sized brains. E.g,, You're wearing a pink-yellow panty.. But samboro - your boyfriend for instance is seeing red-purple. That is beyond cognitive power. It's more of achromatic vision-- or rather color vision deficiency. For the genius like us... We see things in different prospects. Eg. Using 10, drop a totting up for 100 as an upshot. 10×10√ 10²√ 10+10+10+10+10+10+10+10+10√ Undefined ambiguity lies upon you to discern and decipher the solution... You're not bound to be static in thinking. Obtuse minds will always look for trivial things to earn a shot. |
jl115:Nice. .. |
AfriqueDuZuid:What is wrong with marathon? Marathon is even superior to sprints. |
AfriqueDuZuid:Congrats to that boer. |
jl115:History... |
jl115:I can as well say kenya has 9 wins in ITF junior cup --- one win in professional ITF main cup and of couse 2 wins in grand slum junior. Also, if you included doubles.. Paul wekesa has 3 grand slam wins? My point is, is there any SAn female player who can beat okutoyi? |
jl115:I thought it was a thing to do with Runners up. My bad. But why are you focusing on history? That is the point. We are in 2022. You have no one to show but history. ---- some of the players you're presenting died. |
jl115:He has won nothing. |
jl115:It is... But for small players. |
jl115:Bozo, why are you slow. You cant read? The Grand Slam in tennis is the achievement of winning all four major championships in one discipline |
jl115:She has won junior grand slam. So? |
AfriqueDuZuid:Winning any grand slam tournament is not easy either. And it Depends on the season. Her track record reads otherwise --- her season was favorable. |
jl115:Bozo, Davis cup is like armature boxing. It' s inferior to professional. The Grand Slam in tennis is the achievement of winning all four major championships in one discipline in a calendar year, also referred to as the "Calendar-year Grand Slam" or "Calendar Slam". In doubles, a team may accomplish the Grand Slam playing together or a player may achieve it with different partners And yes, I know davis cup. |
jl115:Davis cup is irrelevant. Any junior player who wins grand slam can easly dominate Davis cup... So yeah, no one cares about that. |
