Transfer doesn't take time. It takes about a week and you may get IL after one month depending on the situation in the country you are transferring to.

My concern is if medical test done in Nigeria will be accepted for interview.

To transfer your case to another country for interview, you must have legal residency or citizenship in that country. Also the US embassy in that country usually have specific additional requirements to accept transfers.

But beware that transfer of cases usually takes time too. It can take 3months to 1 year depending on the country you are transferring to.

Thanks so much for your response. But after transfer and i receive the IL, can the medical exam be done in my primary country or the new country where the case is transfer to?

A friend's father filed for EB5 visa and he has been DQ since March 2024 but no IL despite visa category current in visa bulletin since then. Any advice on steps to take to schedule interview?

Purpose of police character certificate is it for traveling or residency? I was told I should have picked residency instead of traveling pls how true is that?

If the purpose is for Immigrant visa select Residency, but if it is for visiting, vacation and other non-immigrant visa kindly select Travelling.

What date will show on approved police clearance certificate when printed out.? Is it the date of application or date of approval.
