Gareth Bale reveals he could leave the club soon

Speaking to Cadena Cope, Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale has confirmed he could leave the club: "I have to talk to my agent and the truth is, I need more minutes. I was frustrated not to start in the Champions League final. Maybe I'll stay in Real Madrid, but maybe not."

Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett has also vaguely told ESPN FC: "Gareth will speak to the (Real Madrid) coach (Julen Lopetegui) and we will go from there."

Earlier on, British reports stated Gareth Bale was in "advanced talks" with Manchester United, as Jose Mourinho would be allegedly keen on landing the 28-year-old winger.





After scoring twice off the bench to lead Real Madrid to Champions League success, Bale made clear he was unhappy with being on the bench and hinting at a future away from Spain.

But as he prepares to return to Real for pre-season, Bale says he will hold talks with his agent over future soon.

Speaking at a Q&A session at his Elevens Bar & Grill in Cardiff, Bale was asked where he will be playing next season.

World Cup 2026: Canada, US & Mexico joint bid wins right to host tournament

The 'United 2026' bid was selected by Fifa member nations, winning 134 votes compared to 65 for Morocco.

The 2026 tournament will be the biggest World Cup ever held - with 48 teams playing 80 matches over 34 days.

"Football is the only victor. We are all united in football," US Soccer president Carlos Cordeiro said.

"Thank you so, so much for this incredible honour. Thank you for entrusting us with this privilege."

Of the 211 Fifa member nations, 200 cast a vote at the 68th Fifa Congress in Moscow on Wednesday, with the winning bid needing a majority of 104.

Canada, Mexico, Morocco and the US were exempt, while Ghana was absent after the country's government said it had disbanded its football association amid allegations of "widespread" corruption.

Three US territories - Guam, the US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico - were among the other member nations to not vote.

ARSENAL SIGN £1M DEAL WITH JAY-Z OWNED MUSIC STREAMING SERVICE

Arsenal have announced a new partnership with music streaming service Tidal, the company founded by self-confessed Gunners fan and rapper Jay-Z.

The undisclosed deal, which Goal understands to be worth around £1 million a year, will see Arsenal partner with the global music and entertainment platform which is available in 52 countries and is part-owned by artists including Beyonce, Kanye West, Rihanna and Usher.

The Gunners' new partnership with their official music streaming partner Tidal will see content created between up-and-coming artists and has been launched with a playlist devised by Arsenal stars Hector Bellerin, Danny Welbeck and Reiss Nelson.



Additionally, all Arsenal paid members enjoy access to Tidal’s extensive library of music including a free six-month trial.

ONE of the suspects, Michael Adikwu, a dismissed policeman, who was arrested after being declared wanted in connection with the April 5 bank robbery in Offa, Kwara State, where over 30 persons lost their lives, has revealed that he masterminded the robbery and killing of policemen over his wrong dismissal from the force.



It was gathered that IRT operatives, led by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, further uncovered that Adikwu was formerly working with the Kwara State Police Command, SARS unit, before he was dismissed for allowing some suspected robbers to escape from police custody.

Sources disclosed that Adikwu became embittered and vowed to deal with policemen.

Another member of the gang, Kunle Ogunleye aka Arrow, who was arrested by the IRT, also confessed that he killed two persons during the operation.

While Abel, another member of the gang arrested by IRT, also confessed to the killing of five persons during the operation.

He said: “I killed five people, but I sprayed bullets on many people. I don’t know if they died.

“I can only confirm the death of five people, who I witnessed myself.”

England footballer Raheem Sterling has defended his new tattoo of a gun, saying it has a "deeper meaning" and refers to his late father.

Anti-gun campaigners criticised the Manchester City forward after he shared a photo of himself with the tattoo of an M16 assault rifle on his leg.

The image has been called "totally unacceptable" and "sickening".

But Sterling said it reflects a vow he made to "never touch a gun" after his father was shot dead when he was a boy.

According to previous reports, Sterling's father was killed in Kingston, Jamaica.

Sterling, 23, who will travel to Russia this summer as part of England's World Cup squad, first revealed his tattoo in a photo posted to Instagram of himself in training with team-mates at St George's Park.

Lucy Cope, who founded group Mothers Against Guns after her son was shot dead in 2012, said Sterling should not play for England unless he gets rid of the tattoo.

Speaking to the Sun newspaper, she said: "This tattoo is disgusting. Raheem should hang his head in shame. It's totally unacceptable.

"We demand he has the tattoo lasered off or covered up with a different tattoo.

"If he refuses he should be dropped from the England team. He's supposed to be a role model but chooses to glamorise guns."

The Republic of Ireland has voted overwhelmingly to overturn the abortion ban by 66.4% to 33.6%.

A referendum held on Friday resulted in a landslide win for the repeal side.

Currently, abortion is only allowed when a woman's life is at risk, but not in cases of rape, incest or fatal foetal abnormality.

The Eighth Amendment, which grants an equal right to life to the mother and unborn, will be replaced.

The declaration was made at Dublin Castle at 18:13 local time.

The only constituency to vote against repealing the Eighth amendment was Donegal, with 51.9% voting against the change.
