The country is crumbling before our eyes—the economy has collapsed, record-breaking unemployment never seen in the country before, businesses are closing down leaving families they support in despair. Parents are forced to endure the agony of seeing their children starve day after day. Tinubu’s presidency will forever be remembered as the epitome of incompetence, corruption, and failure. We once believed no leader could surpass Buhari’s ineptitude, but Tinubu has shocked us all by doing just that. What makes this tragedy worse is the utter absence of hope for change or improvement. Since the wicked son of lucifer removed subsidy there's nothing of benefit the average Nigerian can point to as the gains of subsidy removal |
This same people would've been crying everywhere if rivers state was denied the position of Ohanaeze President General. Rants of how Igbos are domineering and tribalistic would be everywhere. |
Imagine the nonsense. If they can’t even get a simple road name right, what’s going to happen with more serious issues like engineering designs, BoQs, and cost estimates? Tinubu and his team keep proving over and over that they don’t have the ability to run this country. |

Godwin4444:Was the Nigerian civil fought because Igbos wanted to take over anyones territory? What does it have to do with this discussion? |
Godwin4444:Some of the things you guys say about the relationship between the Igbo and her neighbors doesn't make any logical sense. As I mentioned earlier the fact that smaller ethnic groups surround the Igbo despite the Igbos larger population suggests two possibilities: either the Igbo lacked the ability to conquer and assimilate them or they were simply not interested in doing so. Either way, it proves that the Igbo have never been a threat to the survival of these groups. Historically, among Nigeria's major ethnic groups, the Igbo stand out as the only one without a vast empire or kingdom spanning thousands of kilometers. Such empires were typically built through bloody conquest where smaller groups were overpowered and subjugated to pay allegiance to the larger dominant power. |
MadPolitician:Oh, I see. |
justtoodark:What about the Ikwerre leaders who keep telling you they are Igbos? You don't think they should be considered too |

The recent election of John Azuta-Mbata, a former senator from Rivers East,an Ikwerre man as President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has reignited a longstanding debate on social media about whether Ikwerres are Igbos or not. Many groups in Ikwerre land have issued opposing public statements, with some affirming their Igbo identity and others rejecting it. Also, theres no day that passes in this forum without seeing multiple posts on the topic. The solution to ending this debate is very simple and straightforward: Let the Ikwerres who identify as Igbo be Igbos and those who identify as non Igbo remain non Igbos. No one should be forced to embrace an ancestry they reject or abandon an ancestral heritage they cherish. Igbos for all I know are not looking for more igbos or looking for a people to conquer, take over their territory and enforce their culture and religion. It is the height of ignorance for anyone to assume that indigenous Igbos are only found in the five southeast states of Nigeria! There are indigenous Igbos in Equatorial Guinea,Cameroun, Gabon and Benue State and Kogi state who till today identify as Igbos. Igbo is not a tribe, it's a nation of many tribes and tribes with many dialects...... The assumption that the Igbo is ruthless and dominant is contradicted by reality. If the Igbo are ruteless and dominant, they would easily have swallowed up and assimilated all other ethnicities around them with their population. At the core of Igbo philosophy has always been "biri kam biri"(live and let live).... this has guided the coexistence with others. The survival and thriving of smaller ethnic groups around much larger Igbo communities suggest a legacy of collaboration and non-domineering relationships. Historically, the Igbo have emphasized trade, diplomacy and cultural exchange over conquest or domination, reinforcing the idea that they prioritize coexistence over bloody conquests or hegemony. It is high time we Nigerians on social media redirected our attention to more pressing significant developmental issues instead of focusing on divisive arguments about who is Igbo or not Igbo. |
I don't see any issues here. Let the Ikwerres who identify as Igbo be Igbo and those who identify as non Igbos remain that way. There are Igbos in Equatorial Guinea,Cameroun, Gabon and Benue State who identify as Igbos. Igbo is not a tribe, it's a nation with many tribes If Igbo are ruteless and dominant, they would easily have swallowed up all tribes around them with their population. At the core of Igbo philosophy has always been "live and let live" |

fuckJones:Slave mentality. |
This explains alot of dissappearances in Abuja lately. Since one master strategist and his boys moved to Abuja, insecurity and violent crimes have become the order of the day |

helinues:I was referring to legitimate Constitutional power....It is different from tyranny and abuse of office. People in this part of the world will always abuse power.....Politicians, law enforcement, bank tellers, civil servants. |
The president is so powerless, he can't even detect to a common citizen not to talk of an elected local government councilor. Governors wield more power in their respective states than the president at the center. |
DrBrainstorm:Many like you, who assumed earning a degree at NOUN would be easy ended up dropping out after just two semesters. No conventional university in Nigeria can match NOUN when it comes to academic discipline. This is the only institution where students cannot manipulate the system to obtain grades. There's no way for students to obtain unmerited grades. I firmly believe that NOUN graduates with a 2.1 are academically stronger to first-class graduates from other universities. |
Years ago with some free time on my hands, I decided to enroll in NOUN, thinking it would be an easy degree to add to my achievements. I had no idea I was about to embark on an intellectually demanding journey that would test my limits and transform my understanding of academics. NOUN has a way of humbling even the smartest minds and I’m grateful for that experience. Untill you’ve earned a degree in a system like NOUN, where self-motivation is a non negotiable trait required for success, you’ll remain like a person with limited vision who's unable to grasp the full picture of the world. |
Maybe we will finally witness a Buhari that is not mentally static. |
seunlayi:Stop n search had nothing to do with the arrest |
He's like every Nigerian they hardly pay debts |
Nkemosifo:I believe What you are referring to as cheating is the money your workers will make from the project. There's absolutely nothing you can do to stop that from happening especially in a building project. Your 30 million will not be enough ![]() |
Same thing applies in Igbo culture. Any child a woman bears belong to her husband if she's married and to her father if her bride price has not been paid. This applies to all women irrespective of who got her pregnant. |
Yes, 30M will complete it with some change remaining. |
I still bought old layers for 8.5k and 2 medium sized goats for 95k this Christmas in abuja. From observation many Nigerians like wasting money on overpriced goods |
The guy is a vigilante with police connection now they want to deny him |
Returning of bride price in my village is very easy the only condition is that everyone who was present during the traditional marriage ceremony will all also be present when the pride price is returned. |
