Actually, mining licenses are given to individuals for mining gold and other precious metals in the South. At least, I know of some people who have mining licenses in Osun, Oyo, Ogun and other states.

But the thing is this: who owns the licenses in the North?
Who are the operators in the North?

Events and circumstances bring people together and pictures get taken, why should one person in the picture be held responsible for the actions of another person in the picture.

Nigerians really need to be smarter and stop chasing shadows. Ask the right questions and do the right research rather than wasting unnecessary time on frivolities.
