santaclaws:You think they don't teach ethics and principles in the university? From 200lv up all engineering students are taught ethics and principles. It doesn't make any sense that someone will have to register with a different body to become a certified engineer after obtaining an engineering degree in a recognized university. The so called Professional bodies in Nigeria seem to be nothing more than gatherings of people with oversized egos. It doesn’t make sense that a person who has studied engineering for five years can’t be called an engineer unless they register with COREN. Why do lawyers need to go to law school after already obtaining a law degree? Even accountants have to pass ICAN exams to be seen as real accountants after spending years in the university for a degree. Floods occur worldwide but only in Tinubu's Nigeria would prisoners escape custody to cause mayhem in the society due to flooding.
