sup guys, i dont intend to be a pain in the butt, am a novice nd kinda new to d andriod cliq. Just have a few questions nd answers would be appreciated.
1. Whats root nd what is the importance.
2. How can i back up my app.
3. And lastly how can i download apps to my laptop and transfer them to my phone.

kolidave: download framaroot from google play install it,select supersu then click on boromir that's all then use root checker to check if your phone is really rooted.
To install and use cmw,1. Download and install busybox on ur android..
this allows ur fone's root to be visible to mtkdroid
tools.
2. download and install Mtkdroid tools for ur pc.
3. download Pdanet drivers for ur pc.. Note:there
are 2 types... 1 for a 32-bit system and d oda for
a 64-bit system..
4. Launch and install d pdanet for ur fone from ur
pc( ur fone must be connected to d pc).. follow d
on screen instructions
5.. Now open Mtkdroid tools.. wait for it to detect
ur fone..d yellow bar underneath d must change
to green before u continue
6. Click on root,backup and recovery... den tick
on To use.boot from fone.. now click on Recovery
and boot..
7. The tool will load and then ask u To make CWM
automatically?? click yes
8.Now u really av to wait while it creates d
backup.. it takes roughly 15mins.. finally it will
say Install created recovery to phone? click yes..
9. now it will prompt u to boot into CWM mode to
know d success.. from der u can den create ur
own backup.. I@ had abt 6 files in my
clockworkmod folder after dbackup

jiggar: By the grace of GOD, I was able to root my elder brother's P5 on thursday 19th, three days ago. This was my procedure. First, go to your phone settings and tick on usb-debugging and allowing the installation of apps from unknown source, and then download the latest framaroot(version 1. from xda-developers(google this out), and then instal and open the app. Secondly, when the app opens, click on supersu and boromir, it will ask you to reboot. After rebooting, voila, your phone is now rooted. Again, I repeat, this was the procedure I used for my brother's P5.
I pray everything works well for you, as I will not be held liable for any damage to your phone.

loverboy4l: Process to root Tecno P5 (easiest method)

1. Download "Frameroot 1.6.apk" (google it)


2. Install app

3. turn on USB Debugging

4.open app*frame root*

5. select "'install SuperSu"' from dropdown

6. Hit that button/exploit

Neduzze5: HOW TO ROOT YOUR TECNO P5

Firstly, put on USB DEBUGGING by going to Settings> developers option and ticking the us debugging box.

1. Download Framaroot 1.6.0 from here >> https:///ANWq8aIM
2. Install it.
3. Open it and select SuperSu at the top right of
your phone
4. Click on boromir
5. You'll be asked to reboot.
6. Reboot your phone. You'll notice that supersu
has automatically been installed.
7. Open it and then close it
8. That's all. Download Root checker >> https://www.dropbox.com/s/ltalsg6lwipap3e/Rootcheck.apk to check
root status.
