My likely stand on NNPC's inclusion under IPPIS

IF I GET APL: How dare they attempt to reduce our salaries and allowances? Do they have any idea what other oil companies are paying their workers at all? If the Government continues with this move, it will just end up making the NNPC an official passageway for guys to be moving on to Chevron, Shell etc. This will inevitably lead to the dearth of expertise required to move NNPC to their 'NEXT LEVEL'.

IF I DO NO GET APL: This move by the Government is laudable. I see no reason why some set of workers should have better compensation than others in the first place. Are they gods? Are they not just workers like the others? Infact, to ensure equity and transparency, all Government agencies should be subjected to the IPPIS. I recommend that the Government extends this valiant move to other parastatals like the CBN, FIRS etc.

I'm sure i'm not the only one. ;

You are not saying the truth. My wife work with DPR and i saw her monthly payslip and she entered as a graduate 5years ago and her salary per annum is not up to that amount. The period they use to get up to that is only in November and December when they pay them twice of their salary.

The total number that went to FCC was 263 for both EH & GT But then, why bordered on numbers of people to be employed? If DPR were to take 3 person, the prayer is, you should make the 3.

Don't bother asking for number of slots per state anymore...It doesnt matter! It was grossly manipulated. Merited hopefuls were sidelined too. in all FG only FCT budget is different.. FCT budget is diff because NASS also serves a similar role as state assembly..
DPR budget is part of the National budget.. Check last year's budget, under Petroleum, you will see DPR.
