DIOVINI:Have you checked whether you meet the requirements for migrating to Australia? If yes, you can start by having your qualifications and experience accessed by Engineers Australia. You can get more information from their website https://www.engineersaustralia.org.au/migration-skills-assessment |

Franksuccess:That was rude. If you had an additional information for him you could have provided it without attacking me. I did no wrong by replying his post. And yes the type of visa you hold has something to do with the type of work you can get. If you are on a temporary visa, you may not be able to get certain jobs. Before I forget, congratulations for your new job. |

bligs: You can convert USD to AUD in any Bank branch in Australia, once you have an account with them. As per securing a job, many factors come into play. Some of the factors include: what type of job is being sort? what type of work visa is held? skills/qualifications of the applicant, etc. No particular location is the best. Everyone's situation is different. 1 Like |

chopgarri: I am in Australia, but I have never done an extension. Call DIBP to find out. Sometimes immigration laws change, so the only way to be sure is to talk to them. |

When planning to study in Australia, it is important for you to prepare to study hard. All I have seen people talk about is how to find a job and get work visa after study. You can't count your chickens before they are hatched. If you don't pass your courses, your visa will be cancelled. The courses are hard and the drop out rate is high, but success is possible. Just thought I should let you guys know. Good luck with your applications. 6 Likes 3 Shares |
