Economy in tatters, Nigeria loses title as Africa’s largest economyOn June 15, Nigeria’s central bank announced it would abandon its currency’s dollar peg. Since then, the naira has fallen 61 percent against the U.S. dollar, generating difficulties for both foreign and domestic businesses in Africa’s most populous country. Nestle Nigeria, for instance, saw a 94 percent drop in profits as the currency depreciated. The currency’s move also led to Nigeria losing its title as Africa’s largest economy — a symbolic downgrade that succinctly summarizes the many challenges facing the country. As oil prices fell from more than $100 a barrel in June 2014 to under $50 today, government revenues plunged, leaving Nigeria with a $7 billion budget deficit. HungerBAD: Sad end to a Clueless President.
After getting kicked out of Power in Nigeria,by a landslide margin. The Clueless one,now goes about visiting different dignitaries in the world uninvited.
In Yoruba,it is called "Mogboor Moyaa"
Truth is,Jonathan is not relevant in Nigeria, and can never be relevant anywhere in the World.
The Western Intelligence still has him tagged,as the most corrupt President Ever in Nigeria.
Only Mediocres celebrate mediocrity, like some of his supporters on Nairaland.

naijadeyhia: Those of you who just hurriedly quoted me need a crash course on assimilation and fact finding. So you are still killing yourself on this issue of waec or no waec. Have you even bothered to read and understand the INEC electoral guidelines for Presidency?
Touching the area of educational qualification, an eligible candidate must have been educated to AT LEAST a waec level. Its a minimum requirement and not a requirement per se.
http://www.waado.org/nigerian_scholars/archive/debates/election/guidelines.html
What you need to engross your little minds with is of he has other educational qualifications and what those stand for. If you still cannot understand my argument then I have nothing more to say to you. OMG bro don't tell me you don't know wat a minimum requirement means |
Politics › Re: Buhari Certificate Palaver: Court Rules On Thursday by silvernus0: 9:03pm On Jun 29, 2016 |
oglalasioux: If anything should make any court disqualify Buhari from being president, Nigerian's should wait for the worst.
1. They'll be a coup that will sack the government.
2. He'll then 'survive' the 'coup' and declare a state of emergency.
3. He'll then announce a 'return' to 'civil rule' in the next 8 years.
4. In those 8 years his Idiagbon era will be picnic.
So please, my fellow Nigerians, let's chose the lesser doomsday. Let's forget Buhari's certificate and move on. is that how we will roll in a law full society? let the rule of law take its place first if he wants to declared emergency and stay for twenty years no probs... but let the rule of law have its way |
Politics › Re: Buhari Certificate Palaver: Court Rules On Thursday by silvernus0: 8:59pm On Jun 29, 2016 |
naijadeyhia: You clearly do not know the difference between a statement of result and a certificate and that a statement of result could be lost and when a request for a fresh copy is made it is given based on current date. Clearly Education has failed you...night classes is an option. is that the Cambridge certificate he is been sued for? |
Politics › Re: Buhari Certificate Palaver: Court Rules On Thursday by silvernus0: 8:52pm On Jun 29, 2016 |
Rules of law should take its place..
No one is above the rule that governs the state
if anyone had forged certificates they should face the rule of the law
our judges and Nigerians are not cowards
