He raised his cutlass up and off, my head was gone. Sorry, what did I just say? That was a mistake. Definitely, a head was gone, but not mine. It was that of the other man. And also you’re wrong, it wasn’t his mate with cutlass that cut his head.
A group of vigilantes had just stormed the place. I can’t really placed how we were located, but we’ve just being saved. The evil man was beaten blue-black, and made to kneel down.
Everyone in captivity was saved. Everyone was happy, and jubilating in so much happiness. I couldn’t jubilate even though I was a bit relieved. I couldn’t help the series of tears running down my cheek.
I had just being given another chance. God had just granted me that. I had been saved. As I saw the face of my supposed killer, I became angry. I felt so irritated, and I couldn’t control my temper.
Addiction. Yeah, addiction, sometimes can be positive. But most times, it’s toxic. I continued to look at the man in disgust. Actually, I wasn’t sure I know what I did. But I’ll tell you, exactly as I was told.
I took a cutlass out of the recovered weapons on the floor and I hacked the evil man into pieces. So, I was told.
Before my eyes were cleared, I was in shackles.
Now he remembered the events prior to where he was. He had been hacked down with a cutlass by his friend’s son. He had wanted the young man dead in time, in fear that he recognized him. When in fact, the young man never knew who he was. So, he was dead. And judging by his environment, he’s definitely in the pit of hell.
So it’s real. He could now feel the pain of his body burning in the fire. He immediately joined the company of those suffering, crying and begging for a second chance. The pain was too much.

I woke up to find myself unclothed. A man having a wrapper by his waist was pointing to me. His body was drenching of blood. But the leader shook his head in disagreement. He pointed to a lady beside me instead. The two men standing dragged her outside. She begged them, crying heavily, but they wouldn’t listen.
As they took her outside, the room was filled with more cries of agony. There was initially no shouts, due to fear of the evil men. I had just found myself in a ritual den.
I was done for. How did this happen to me? I cried my heart out. Were this people ever going to show mercy? What would they do with the woman?
At regular intervals, these men took one person at a time. There was more blood on them each time. That alone, scared me more.
What happened to the security of the state? How were we taken away from the notice of people around into a devilish place here? Was this how I was going to die? In a ritual den?
Different thoughts were still on my mind, as I felt a touch of the evil man of before on my shoulder again. I didn’t even notice when he and the other man came in. I didn’t even notice the sudden silence in the room.
Why was this man always pointing at me first, before the leader would disagree and point to another person? But it seemed I wouldn’t be so fortunate as I had been earlier.
The leader stared at me more this time. I was facing down, but I wanted to look up to beg for mercy. I didn’t. I didn’t know if I was doing the right thing or not, I just hoped the leader disagrees this time too. But he didn’t.
The two men took me to another room. The room was designed with all kinds of devilish acts, or so I thought. I was made to kneel. The man that pointed at me, smiled as like he just had a mission accomplished. He wrapped my cloth with a red cover cloth.
The other man took the cutlass and was about to behead me, but the man collected it from him. Maybe I had been thinking about these all wrong. Maybe this man was being cold to me, so he could help me escape. Why would he collect the cutlass to behead me when his mate could do it? Maybe he wanted to strike the man with the cutlass and then facilitate my escape.
Anyway, he was delaying his action. The wasted time made me to wonder why I didn’t scream. Was I ready to die? Nope, I wasn’t ready. I was having the false hope that maybe if I was calm, I would be released. In fact, I was dead scared. I was sweating profusely, and uncontrollably. I started praying heavily with my heart to God to save me.
I knew I had sin a lot. I was a rogue man back in campus, if you know what I mean. Taking people’s life this way had been my way. How come I was so scared when I was to face same ordeal. I begin to reminisce the number of lives I had taken. This must had been how scared they were. But I never showed mercy. I cried my heart out. I had raped a lot of women for fun, and I never felt remorseful. How come I felt like this at the point of death?
I am someone’s child, someone’s brother, someone’s lover, someone’s friend. I was about to be beheaded, and I was so scared. I had killed children, brothers, sisters, lovers and friends for fun, and I never felt remorseful. It was at the point of death, that I knew the implications of all I had done.

Flashes show the unbearable suffering those around him were going through. He could feel the pain too, but just couldn’t comprehend what exactly was happening around him. What exactly was happening here? Where was he? And what exactly was going on?
Everyone was in pain, and crying heavily. They were begging for mercy, gnashing their teeth in utmost pain. Though the flashes, he could see the fire burning everyone, including him. Still he couldn’t feel the pain. This place was so horrible like a pit of hell. Huh, could he really be in hell?
The flashes turned down to show the earlier events.
I rushed to wash my face as I was quite late for the occasion. How could I have slept for so long? It was unlike me. I knew the reason, anyway. I had to sleep after Sarah left. That Calabar girl took a lot of energy out of me. I knew I should bath, but the time was quite unfriendly to me at the moment. Washing of face, and not bathing wasn’t new to someone as lazy as me. Alas, I still looked good.
Had my usual dress on, and looked through the mirror. Oh, the Standout Guys are dead. As the leader of my group, it was time to let them know the stuff we were made of. It was almost evening, and no doubt, I was late. Anyway, I drafted out of the room to the street.
As I got outside, it was now a game of choice. Should I go to the park and wait till the bus is filled with passengers or just take ‘Sole’ as my Yoruba guys called it? As I was thinking, my wristwatch beeped, telling me the hour has passed. The wristwatch has just decided for me.
I rushed into the almost passengers filled ‘Sole’ and sat majestically like a King. Oh, I was having my jacket on top of my main dress, so noone was scared of me. I had wanted to pull off the jacket to show the idiot man that just stepped on my feet, but I controlled my temper. He couldn’t even say sorry. He was lucky I had other things to attend to.
Within minutes, our bus was moving. I was still looking at the man in contempt but he didn’t seem to notice me. He was busy with his phone. I watched until he slept off, his phone in his hand. Wow, this is the best revenge ever, I thought. I was going to steal his phone and alight from the bus.
I wanted to make sure that noone was looking at me. I checked the people beside us, they were sleeping too. I smiled happily. I could carry on my mission. Wait, what did I just say? The people beside us were sleeping too? As this thought struck my mind, I became curious. I looked at everyone in the bus. To my surprise, only the driver and his conductor were awake.
What could be happening here? I called the conductor to let him know about what I found out. He was quite surprised. Not because of those sleeping, but because I wasn’t. He snapped his towel on my face. And off, I was gone too.

I just decided to write a short story (needs it for some thing). It won't be more than three updates. I want to know people's opinions about this story, before i edit and use it for its purpose...

Kemp: (confused) What are you talking about?
Addin: We need to leave this place.



EPISODE 8
(Mina is surprised to hear that Majh and Mary could be alive. Kemp is still looking around, as if he is finding something).
Mina: (still surprised) You are telling me that Mr M- could be Majh, your son?
Addin: I am still confused as to that matter. But I’m very sure that’s Majh’s code name.
Mina: (looks at Kemp) You even brought a stranger here. Don’t you know it’s very dangerous?
Kemp: (looks at her angrily) I never asked to come here, he told me to. I can leave if you don’t want me to stay.
Addin: (holds him and faces Mina) It’s alright. His family was also killed. We are both on the same page. We both want revenge on X Regency.
Kemp: Even though your own family could be alive, and you only need me to find them.
Mina: (sighs) So, Addin, what do you want us to do now? The CCTV footage of that day’s incidence has been wiped off. There’s no way to confirm what truly happened that day.

Addin: (sees a car on the screen, and quickly exclaims) Pause. (Mina is confused but pauses the exact scene) Zoom in on that car. (she does that. Addin picks up another system, and begins to operate it. After some minutes, a scene shows up in the screen. In the scene, the exact car is also there)

(Third Heart is inside a car, at the front of a secondary school. One could notice that this is the same car on both systems Addin and Mina are viewing. He is disguised as another person using a face wax. A young boy runs towards the car. He is surprised as he sees just one person inside the car).
Jerry: (surprised) Demih, why are you the only one here? Where are the security men?
Third Heart: (chuckles) The boss sent them on a particular job. So I’m the only here to pick you.

Mina: (surprised as she looks at the screen) It’s the same car. And that’s the scene of the nearby CCTVs of the day Jerry was kidnapped.
Addin: (confused) Exactly. Third Heart kidnapped Jerry on this day. Same car was on the road of both scenes. Third Heart is very related to X Regency. I can easily deduct that Third Heart owns this car, and he was present on the day of the incidence on my family.
Mina: (understanding the matter) So, it’s possible that X Regency used Third Heart to kidnap your wife and son.
Addin: It seems X Regency have just been using the bombings to cover their real actions. Come to think of it. That day, Jetar intentionally let me see her, and then led me to a far place.
Mina: (confused) So?
Addin: X Regency wants me dead. Why would Jetar lead me away from the place, since they had the chance to get rid of me alongside my family? They didn’t plan to kill all of us. They needed my family, but not to kill them. If I was there, there’s no way Third Heart or whosoever will be able to kidnap them. So Jetar led me away from there.
Mina: Oh! And then they bombed the place after kidnapping them, so you will think they are dead.
Addin: Yeah. So, I won’t be looking for them.
Kemp: (claps his hands) Perfect plan. These people are good, I must give them that.

Simbs: Wow! You even know there are so many men here. That’s good.
Addin: Are you here for me? Or… (figures something out).
Simbs: (notices that he has figured out) Yeah, we are here for him. (As Addin faces side to run towards the house, Simbs rushes him with some attacks. She is trying to delay him from going to save the boy. Despite her skills, Addin is able to parry her away, and runs towards the house. He flies to the first floor, and hides himself. The enemies there already know he is around. He directs his gun to shoot one enemy, but before he could, another enemy shoots tries to shoot him from another side. He escapes the gunshot and quickly hides. He skillfully shoots the enemy trying to shoot him, and quickly shoot the other enemy too. He advances inside through the verandah taking covers. As he gets to the living room, he meets a man lying lifeless on the floor. He feels his pulses, and realizes that he is dead. He becomes more scared. He advances inside towards the room. As he enters the room, he notices an enemy hiding behind the curtain. He stylishly shoots him down, and runs in. He sees no one inside the room, but a door leading to another place. He sneakily walks towards the door, and opens it. The door leads to the kitchen, and a lifeless body of a woman can be seen on the floor. It is so glaring that she is dead, as blood is gushing out of her body. Addin is so sad and confused. He still hasn’t seen Mirin himself. He searches the whole flat, and eventually sees a young boy in school uniform inside the toilet, also lying on the floor. He runs towards him, and realizes that he is still alive but so weak. With his condition, there’s no way he can make it past that minute, and even Addin knows this).
Addin: (scared) Are you Mirin? (the boy nods affirmatively) How do you get to play Candy Sex on Jerry’s system? What do you do? (he is so confused and is even thinking about what he’s doing).
Mirin: My… my…. (he gives up. Addin shouts out uncontrollably. He is so sad. He is the reason the boy and his family lost their lives. Still yet, he couldn’t get anything out. He is sadder that more and more people keep dying just because of him. He wants to quickly leave the building to go and save Tame before he is discovered where he is hiding him. As he is about to leave, he notices that Mirin is having his school bag at his back. He picks up the school bag and checks the content. He sees some books, discs and receipt inside. He closes his eyes, opens them, and picks the receipt only. He leaves the place immediately)

* * * * *
(On the street, Kemp can be seeing walking, and listening to music through the handsfree in his ears. Suddenly, Addin sneaks behind him, and drags him to one side. He tries to free himself but Addin is stronger. He is seeing Addin’s face for the first time, so he is pretty scared. He thought he is being kidnapped, but Addin isn’t hurting him).
Addin: Calm down, I am not hurting you.
Kemp: (still struggling to free himself from Addin) But you are holding me hostage.
Addin: I am here to see you for something. You have to calm down and listen to me. We need to talk.
Kemp: I said you are still holding me.
Addin: I will leave you. But don’t run away. It has to do with your family. They have all been killed. (Kemp is so surprised to hear this, so he calms down. Addin gently leaves him free)
Kemp: (surprised and nervous) What do you mean by that?
Addin: They’ve all been killed.
Kemp: Who killed them?
Addin: That’s why I am here. I can help you find the killers but you have to help me too.
Kemp: (becomes more scared and suspicious) Who are you? How do you get to know and find me? How do you know they were killed even before me? And what exactly do you want?
Addin: Only one thing brought you to the picture, and made me realize you can help me.
Kemp: What’s it? (curious)
Addin: (brings out the receipt) This.
Kemp: (collects the receipt and checks this. He is still confused) The receipt I collected after paying for Mirin’s school fees?
Addin: Yeah.
Kemp: (still confused) I don’t understand you.
Addin: When I saw the receipt, and saw your name, I realized so many things. There is a box in the house that contains so many receipts used in paying Mirin’s school fees when he was still in his former school. They were all paid by your father. But when he was to change school, you were the one that paid his school fees.
Kemp: And what does that mean?
Addin: It means your parent never wanted Mirin to change school, but you personally wanted him to. So you had to pay the school fees with your own money.
Kemp: (sighs) What are you implying?
Addin: There’s a reason you made him change school immediately after Jerry, the President’s son’s death.
Kemp: (smiles) Are you trying to link me with his death?
Addin: No. I am working to get those behind his and your family’s deaths. And I think you know something.
Kemp: (nods his head) If these people are so capable of killing the President’s son, and also killed my family, then my life is in danger too.
Addin: Yeah. But I can help you. I have always been number one on their death list, but I am still alive. There’s a way I do it. I can help you too, but you have to help me.
Kemp: (scared) But how can I know that I can trust you?
Addin: No way. But you have got no choice at the point you are right now. Your life is in danger whether I am here or not.
Kemp: (sighs) Okay. Mirin used my hacking account for something that’s very illegal, but it was late before I found out.

(Kemp angrily moves into the house to find Mirin. Their parents are not around).
Kemp: (angrily) What do you use my account for?
Mirin: (scared) Your account as how?
Kemp: Don’t try to lie to me. I know you have been using my account to do something. You must tell me right away, or else. You know what I can do to you.
Mirin: (scared, and wants to cry) I didn’t do anything bad. I only play games with it.
Kemp: (curious) What kind of game do you need to use my account for?
Mirin: (scared) It’s Candy Sex.
Kemp: Candy Sex? Where do you see Candy Sex?
Mirin: (scared) Jerry has it on his system.
Kemp: (confused) That’s impossible. Candy Sex has been banned from Notis. Also, even if it isn’t banned, why do you need my account to play it?
Mirin: His dad has the game’s prototype on his system.

Kemp: He used my account to hack the President’s computer to access the game from it.
Addin: (realizing the issue) But how did you detect?
Kemp: Exactly. I noticed that someone is hacking through my account to access some information. I couldn’t find out where the hacking is coming from, but I realized that it was because Mirin is using my account, that made it possible for them to hack it.
Addin: Wait, are you trying to say that someone was trying to get information from the President’s computer by linking his son’s system?
Kemp: Yeah.
Addin: That’s impossible. There’s no code that can do that. The firewall on the President’s computer will be too strong to allow that.
Kemp: Exactly my guess. But still yet, I know someone was hacking my account. So I asked him to stop hacking the game. It wasn’t long after he stopped hacking the game, that Jerry was murdered. (Addin looks at him somehow).
Addin: Oh really. Now, I am understanding. It seems they are able to find the code that can link the two systems together. So they were able to get information from the President’s system anytime your brother hacked the game from it. So immediately he stopped hacking it, they lost access to the information. They actually killed the President’s son because they need his system, so they can continue the hacking by themselves.
Kemp: Seems that’s the case.
Addin: But what kind of hacker has the ability to write that kind of code? (realizes something) This explains the sudden recruitment of Mr M-. He does the hacking for them, while the other hacker applies the Leadlight. Mr M- (as he mentions the code name again, something flashes through his memory)

(Majh is sitting on the chair, facing the system. Addin is standing behind him. He is amazed at the skills of his son).
Addin: (surprised) I haven’t taught you these. How are you able to do these?
Majh: (smiles) They are so easy. I can even do more.
Addin: (surprised) Really? It seems you are very good at it.
Majh: Thanks, dad.
Addin: Son, since you know so much about hacking, don’t you think you need a code name you will using when hacking, instead of using anonymous?
Majh: (looks at Addin) A code name?
Addin: Yeah, a code name. I have one, don’t you think you need one?

Addin: (smiles) My code name is very important, and I can’t say it that easily. Just think about yours, and what you want.
Majh: (smiles) Okay, I will use M.

(After the President’s general meeting with the cabinet, he calls the Secretary of Defense, Mr Hasis, and Attorney General, Mr Anthony to his personal office)
Wright: (being the President) I think you both know why I am calling you here. I want to know the latest update on the issue on ground.
Mr Hasis: (chuckles) The issue is no longer a play or something we can take lightly. We’ve discovered the China are developing their EMPs, which means they are waiting for something to conquer us. We have to act quickly now.
Wright: (confused) Developing their EMPs? What could they be waiting for?
Mr Hasis: Mr President, MunArt is still at large.
Wright: But I think Berlin lost it.
Mr Hasis: Yeah, they did but to another country. I think the country is planning to team up with China to start the war using MunArt.
Wright: This is your fault then. We really are in danger if any country is trying to use the MunArt against us. We can’t counter it.
Mr Hasis: (feeling guilty) Yeah. But I will initiate the Collector immediately to get the MunArt from wherever it is.
Mr Anthony: Let’s be careful in whatever we want to do. If a country really has the MunArt, and is teaming up with China, then they should have initiated the war already. There must be something delaying them.
Wright: (convinced) You are right. (to Mr Hasis) What’s with the secret communications?
Mr Hasis: My guess is that the country trying to team up with China can be either Russia or Israel or both. So I think the communications about the war are being made in one of these three countries, so we couldn’t get anything.
Mr Anthony: So our only hope lies with the Collector.
Mr Hasis: Exactly.
Wright: Anyway, I trust him. He will get the MunArt, if it really is out there.
Mr Hasis: Yeah.

(NOTIS)
(Addin and Tame can be seen walking down the street. Tame is actually leading Addin to Mirin’s house. As they are about to get to the house, Addin senses danger).
Addin: (to Tame) Are we about to get Mirin’s house?
Tame: Yeah! That’s his house up there. (points to a particular house) He and his parents stay in the flat in the first floor.
Addin: Shit! (he senses that there are assassins in the area already. He quickly takes Tame to one corner and hides him there).
Tame: Why are you putting me here?
Addin: Shh! Don’t say anything. Just hide here, I am coming very soon to get you. (He brings out his gun, and closes his eyes. Suddenly he opens his eyes, and begins to run with his footsteps not audible. After some seconds, he counts 1, 2, 3, and then stops. Immediately he stops, Simbs also falls down from the roof of a building to almost exact spot. As he was already waiting for her, he kicks her and she falls down. She is surprised to see Addin. She skillfully flies up and distances herself from him, but Addin already has his gun on her).
Simbs: (smiles) Addin, you are here again.
Addin: (confused) Why are you here? Why do you bring so many men here?
Simbs: Wow! You even know there are so many men here. That’s good.
Addin: Are you here for me? Or… (figures something out).

(Cole enters a building. He enters the first room and meets woman by the desk.)

Woman 1: (looks at him very well, and then presses some things on the system in front of her) Not here, you should check the next room.
Cole: Okay. (he leaves the room, and enters the next room. He meets another woman there).
Woman 2: What do you want?
Cole: I want to buy Eagle eye.
Woman 2: (looks at him very well, and presses some things on the system) Not here, you should check the next room.
Cole: Okay. (he leaves there, and enters the next room. He meets another woman).
Woman 3: What do you want?

Cole: (he smiles and brings out an ace card. The card has a ship drawn just beside ace. He shows it to the woman) This is the ship ticket.

Cole: Thank you. (he collects the card, smiles and leaves there. He walks down the building until he gets to a glass door. He uses the key card to open the door. Inside is a man surrounded by numerous half unclad ladies. There are also bodyguards in the room. As the man sees Cole, he orders everyone in the room to leave, as he has things to do with Cole).
Mr Michael: (to Cole) Come and have your seat. (Cole takes a seat, and everyone else leaves the room).
Cole: Thanks, sir.
Mr Michael: Do you have it now?
Cole: Yes. (he opens the briefcase with him, and brings out his system. He operates the system, and then shifts the system to Mr Michael. Mr Michael smiles as he views the content. He is very happy and anxious, but tries not to show it).
Mr Michael: (after some minutes) This is very good. When will you have the real device?
Cole: Very soon, sir. We are getting there.
Mr Michael: (smiles) With this, the world will be at Serja’s feet. (Cole becomes scared as he hears this).
