MyMouth:no I typed it right. The worst path is that I finally went to the MVAA station and met a staff who told me that there was nothing to check at the station, he noted that if my plate number is showing invalid, I must do a new registration. To make the matter worst, someone here on nairaland said that the custom paper of the car is fake. I'm just confused. Will new registration be possible without custom paper? |
Number: C 8512 Seme border post 2014/03/11 Nissan sunny Payment sent to your account sir |
danwa25:ok, thanks |
Pls, this MVAA station that I will go, I guess is the licensing office where I obtained those documents. Or is it the state? Because. I have a bayelsa state number, which Was processed at PortHacourt Licensing office in Diobe. all I could see in the prove of ownership stamp is the LGA licensing authority (Brass) and bayelsa state. Do I go to that LGA in bayelsa or just go that PH office where I met the officer that registered the car for me. |
autoinfo:Thanks |
I learnt that they are paying money to very original custom paper: now read. 1. I have original copy of declaration form that showed my C number. 2. I have a copy of the stamped assessment form 3. I have the original UBA seme border bank tella that was used to pay into NCS account. 4. I have the original copy of the Bank confirmation slip titled: NCS paydirect payment acknowledgment" (online computer print out stamped and signed by the bank. 5. Description of goods showed "one used passenger motor vehicle. 5. Mark of packages showed: the name of my car and it chasis number And somebody is still advising me to pay another money, to know if my agent gave me fake, UBA ate the N134,551 paid. And all the official stamps, including UBA, Customs and that of my agent, fake? That means to say that corruption indeed, is fighting back in this country. Now do you think I should still pay 3000 to verify my papers? Based on what I have stated here. Thank you all and God bless Nairaland |
princemillla:no, it was imported for me in 2014. |
pattybf:very helpful, thanks. I will do that. Only that I don't know the trick they would use to extort money from me when I get there. That's why I'm asking for help Information here. |
FlyboyZee:I've checked, it shows invalid/wrong number. So I went to the website for "continue registration" then I typed my vehicle ID. that was on my plate number registration paper, my data showed up. it seems whoever did the registration did not complete it. |
Nawaoh! |
DjAndroid:abi? my brother. I have all documents |
May be I was foolish, reluctant or just a victim of corruption. Yes! I learned the hard way when I was stopped yesterday by a policeman who said that my number plate was not on plate number verification website. That it shows invalid/wrong number. Before I could say jack robinson, I parted with N2000, with abeg!. Now am planning to go and sort things out with FRSC. My question is, now that I've used this plate number for more than two years now, with all my papers correct. Do I need to pay for the plate number for it to be registered or buy entirely new plate number with other documents: that would be very much for me as I'm just managing to fuel the car. Please advice me on the step to take, if you have a similar experience. Because the frsc official that registered the car for me cannot be reached on phone again and I don't know his real name. Thanks |

From the table of DECEPTION KNOT Series, comes this great flash fiction for etisalat flash fiction prize: The Day Life Died "Ooh CREATOR! why is this woman so wicked," EMBRYO yelled. The liquid splashed on his face the fifth time with thunderous spark. "You're wicked," he cursed, and swam to a corner of the uterus. The alcohol engulfed womb quaked with torrent. " What's my mother doing up there- she want's to killed me?" "She's drinking Gin," Creator replied. "Heh! Don't ask me question again, I'm done with you." " why?" "You chose a wrong woman," Creator declared and disappeared. From his position, Embryo opened his sensory eyes and saw MARY on a chair, with a bottle of beer atop, and a half filled cup. "Chai! My mother: a drunker?" Now in shock, Embryo fainted. Two weeks after, at about 10.am, a rough hand of a gynecologist on Mary's stomach, woke him up. Again, he watched as this doctor ran her fingers across Mary's protruding tummy, occasionally blinding his view. Now relaxed, he listened to their conversation. "Avoid alcoholic drinks and don't take any medication without doctor's prescription." He heard the doctor advised Mary. Embryo sighed, as he realized that this good-for-nothing kind of a mother had already done much damage to his health. It's three months since he began this journey. Mary his mother, a drunker, smoker and notorious street fighter, had refused to obey pregnancy precaution. Again, Embryo went into coma. The third day of the eighth month, Mary was in severe pain, and was rushed to a maternity. Inside her womb, the male child panned radially to the left, as he struggled for breath, with an alcohol damaged limb. He saw JOHN, his Father, standing perplexed; and a confused Midwife, with Mary on a bed, struggling for survival. Go-ossh! He dropped on the flannel bed: a dangerous silence that ensued, announced his death. [/b] twosquare:Hahaha. I guess you are referring to this: "EPUB is an e-book file format with the extension.epub that can be downloaded and read on devices like smartphones, tablets, computers, or e-readers. It is a technical standard published by the International Digital Publishing Forum(IDPF). The term is short for electronic publication and is sometimes styled ePub." On wikipedia abi? Would you also say that their is an "ebook file format?" Generally speaking, yes, there is an ebook file format, but technically, no such format exist; just like epub. Rather. Epub is a term used by IDPF to describe files that can be read through e reading devices like kindle/nooks, ipad, android etc . Continue your research, cos I stand to be corrected. |
ferhyntorlah:sorry, is typo-error: epub is right. Now let me teach you about "epub" meaning electronic publications. Online videos, images, books are called "epub.". It's. Not a file format. Many epub comes in the following formats: mobi, pdf etc. On amazon format, I agree that amazon accept doc/docx, rtf, and pdf files, however, the files are converted for you to mobi format, which is digital format for kindle readers. If you're publishing for createspace print on demand platform, no problem; but not best for KDP. When amazon converts your files, you do not have control of the final outcome of the page. But if you do the conversion yourself, you can tell exactly how you pages will appear on kindle reader. Do more research or download kindle reading app to see how the book you uploaded in doc format actually appear. We are all learning though, thanks. |

Hi my lovely and respectable nairalanders, I need us to help this young husband manage this childbirth anxiety. His wife is pregnant and is more than 35 weeks now, so the midwife has already told them to start preparing for the child's delivery. Interesting thing here is that anxiety has taken over him as his wife look restless each day that passes, with either complain of waist, weakness, painful joint or an urge to throw up.. He feels helpless at each occasion, not knowing what to do, sometimes in the middle of the night. Though midwife says her situation is perfectly normal. The problem is that he has heard of men who have had to wake their neighbors at mid night to seek for help simply because their wife is in labour. Such an experience look very scary for him since he love his wife so much, and he just could not wait to see her deliver safely. In the light of this, is their anything he should do that will help him prepare for this and possibly overcome this anxiety. Fathers in the house, what was your experience with your wife's first childbirth and how did you prepare and managed it. Even when he goes to work, he kept thinking that, perhaps labour may start in his absence, since he is not sure how women feel at such moments: not sure if she will be able to call him on phone, as it's only her at home most times. Candid opinion needed pls |
