Supreme Court affirms
judgement of lower court

The Supreme Court has affirmed the judgement
of Justice Chiwendu Nworgu on the congress
conducted by the All Progressives Congress,
APC in Rivers state.
The Supreme Court also addressed the issue of
representation and held that Chinweikpe Chieme
of the Senator Magnus Abe group of the APC is
the legal representative of the APC in the state.
The apex court, therefore, upheld the appeal of
Ibrahim Umar and twenty-two other aggrieved
members of the APC that they were restrained
from participating in the ward, local government
and state congresses of the party.

i just want to inform all those already employed by inec to be careful in the forthcoming election. i have been their two times, but had sworn never to past through that route again. I read this morning that inec has insured all of you:Adhoc staff. Do not be deceived. This three things are basic in any Nigeria election and i think you should know it, base on my personal experience:
1 politicians (both pdp and apc) will offer you money; if you take it, trouble; you refuse it more trouble.
2.Politicians and their thugs will save your life in event of crises:because they know that they have won; Police will not. security agencies is interested only in protecting inec result.
3 in case you have to take side please join the stronger group in your poling unit because "they are on ground". Forget your opinion. below is a poem of lamentation that I wrote after I escaped being murdered in one of the elections that I handled few years ago, in one of the northern states, tittled Me and Election.


ME AND ELECTION

See how they exposed me.
Under trees, on wooden bench, I slept.
Later, on a floor without a mat,
Waiting for the D day

After a humiliating night of restless sleep,
Came the “National Service”.
Scramble for electoral materials,
I did with mixed feeling.
As the sight of depreciated pickup van,
Heralded the danger ahead

INEC canned men and materials,
To transport both to wards,
Where we were abandoned;
At the mercy of politicians

See how they exposed me.
Politicians whom I was told to avoid,
Became my messiah
They took me from ward to unit,
7km distance

Together with potential eyewitness (POLICE)
Sent to report possible incident,
Of my death, Or what?
How secure is he to secure me?
Thus, he turned to an observer
In the electoral drama



Yes, 8.45 AM announced my arrival.
Polling clerk, I met.
Polling agent withdrew, so I learned.
With 1146 registered voters,
And shortage of personnel
The stage was set

Behold the multitude anxiously waiting,
Amidst intense pressure by party agents,
813 voters accredited.
Voting commenced 3.PM,
Ended 9.pm and the heat was on

As predicted, my supposed security man
Turned V.I.P Spectator,
It was a Free-for-all fighting.
Thank God for my neutrality
For Mr. Death would have visited

I took to my heel.
But no where to turn to,
I was kidnapped back to stage
To complete my role

See how INEC exposed me.
The stronger group won.
But who will take me home?
The clock ticked 11.30pm

The same politicians
That I was told to avoid,
Delivered me to INEC official,
Waiting anxiously for my result,
But not my safety

one of my p4 window xp HP cpu suddenly shut down and starts displaying "no system or disk error. replace and press any key when completed" is there a way out or do i simply look for window xp software to format the computer?

hurray!!! my car is back and running.
i learnt few things today
1 not everything you see online is truth. every car situation is peculiar to it circumstance. my reason is that i read online that all nissan cars are interference engine meaning that if timing chain jumped, it could damage valve head and even the piston. i was so scared . but in my case the jumped timing chain did not damage anything.. mech. said it adjuster made it to skip a tooth. lesson: internet sent panic mode all over my brain.

2 people here are interested in big and modern car problem. but most times most of us who believe in the intellectual contribution of engineers here will always come here first to seek advice, even if our car problem is a minor issue.

mechanic has arrived with his colleague. i asked if they have been able to discover any fault, they said is the adjuster. whatever that means i don't know. but that they will fix it.

pls car experts here, i know you guys are very busy. i'd really want to hear someone's opinion on this because i don't have any knowledge about cars. i started driving recently. and this my first car and the first time the car engine is been opened.

my little nissan sunny 1.4L 1993, manual; returned from okigwe to PH last 10 days ago and was parked. yesterday i turn on the car, put it in neutral it idled like 30 seconds and went off, and thereafter refused to start again. mechanic came this morning after regular checks told me that it jumped timing.
he asked me to buy one black gum and workmanship N3500. He tried to reset the chain. am not sure he got it right since the car still, will not start. he said he would call his colleague so that both of them will work on it tomorrow.
He has not asked me to change the chain or any other parts.
pls what are the possible culprit here so that i can suggest for him in case he ran out of idea.
will this lead to dismantling of the engine? my fear is

1. leave the car to go and call any auto-mechanic at the nearest location
2, call your auto-mechanic while you wait at a corner of the spot
3 look for vehicle to tow the car to a nearest auto-service shop.
