UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN(UI) POST-UTME TIPS
An important fact to not for the aspirants
of the University of Ibadan(UI) is that, the

gaining admission even though, it might
fall in another department. This occurs

departmental cut-off marks.


MAKING THE UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN(UI)
POST-UTME CALL-UP.
The major problem of most University of
Ibadan(UI) aspirants lies not in passing
their post-utme but in sitting for their post-
utme. In this case, they have to meet up
with their various departmental post-utme
call-up point.

These points are not disclosed until the O-
Level results of various applicants have
been received during post-utme
registration.

The University of Ibadan, decides the call-
up point, the same way in which they
decide an admission Cut-off mark and the
point is released, when the name of
successful candidates invited for post-utme
would be released.

Basically, the invitation call-up point for this
years post-utme has not been revealed and
would only be revealed by the end of post-
utme registration.


CALCULATING YOUR TOTAL MARKS AHEAD OF
UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN(UI) POST-UTME CALL
UP
We would require you aspirants, to do this
Yourself, it is not a difficult process and as
such, you can do it without problems. Just
follow the guidelines below.

1. This is how the University of Ibadan(UI)
calculate their call up point from O’level

O-LEVEL
A1 – 12points
B2 – 10points
B3 – 8points
C4 – 6points
C5 – 4points
C6 – 2point

Which is obtained from Your 5 relevant/
compulsory subjects as related to your
course.

2. This is how the University of Ibadan
calculate their Call up point From
JAMB
Simply divide your UTME score by a factor of
10. Which implies 400/10- 40

3. To obtain the call up points, now add
obtained O-level points above, to the JAMB
points.

4. The result becomes your University of
Ibadan post-utme call up point.

Examples: Assuming i made A1 in my 5
relevant subjects. When i multiply the
individual A1 by 12 and sum them up, i
would obtain 60- (60/60).

If I made 235 in my UTME examination, that
means, 235/10 which equals 23.5.
Lastly, I add my o’level figures to my UTME
figures = my weighted UI call up point. ie
60+23.5=83.5. I possess ENG C5, MATH B3, BIOLOGY B3, CHEMISTRY B3, PHYSIC C6. TOTAL 30 POINTS. Can I be eligible to study medicine and surgery in UI through pre-degree?

You mean the school provide accommodation for remedial student? I would like to stay until lecture commences when I come for the application for the program. I mean the money for my return ticket should go a little way in securing an accommodation lol.
