Romance / Re: I'm in love with my Sister In Law, what do I do? by Simeon1080(m): 9:17pm On Apr 18, 2023
Where I come from, it is believed that once one of you is married from a particular family, all family members of the bride and groom family are now one family. So, it no longer allowed for marriage or dating to occur between anyone from both families. In my village in particular, it went as far as the clan entirely (we divide our village into clans and clans into smaller clans and smaller clans into extended families and then into smaller family units. Until my uncle wanted to get married last year, if you were from my extended family, which is our past 4th generation (i.e, the great great grand father of my father). You cannot marry from a family my uncle married from. But that law was reversed bringing it down to only my family unit made up of only my great grand father. We all don't like that law anyway, but they always say the elders are wise. So my advice for you is that you should ask your elders and from your brother's wife side too. Act based on what they advice. I would personally advocate for complete removal of some customs and traditions that were formed at a time when there was no or little civilization, but that would take a very long time to come to effect, fighting that cause would only make you unhappy at the end.

I currently want to take a degree in Computer Science at the National Open University Of Nigeria, I thought I did my research well, until yesterday a friend of mine seriously kicked against it, giving me a thousand reasons( Not really up to anyway) why I should not, My friend says you cannot be employed with NOUN Cert. That would not be a problem to me since even first class graduate from regular universities are jobless these days, among all reasons this one he made very obvious, Please I like to know, is NOUN that bad?
