i am here again oo, i need answer to this question no vex, just trying to reduce cost.

We are considering visa on arrival in Lagos for my baby and we are flying ARIK airline.

My question, hope the baby wont have any problem boarding the flight from NEW YORK without the nigerian passport or nigeria visa.

do i need the Social security number to apply for my baby US passport cos i saw a space on the application form for SSN but i dont have the number yet, they are yet to send it to me, pls wat should i o or go about it? ca i apply for his passport without the SSN.


Also, i am thinking of getting visa on arrival for him, read here that some pple did that, but my question is wont the airline ask for to see the baby visa too niger before allowing him to board from here in US.

West houston medical center has a doctor for 2000(thats how much am paying)I don't think her cost would still be the same.Go back and endeavour to call all of them.

I flew Etihad, POE was Abu Dhabi, It was a breeze didn't spend up to 15mins for both primary and secondary inspection.

We were 2 preggy on the flight.

CBP asked me to sit and said she just want tto discuss with her supervisor.

After like 5 mins, she didn't call anyone or stand up to go any where, she called me and gave me the riot act.

make sure u pay your bills and always travel with the receipts whenever you travel with the baby and future visa applications.

they didn't ask to count the money and I was on my way.

It was God and lessons learnt from this forum.

I just checked now, butt the prices are in EURO and not dollar, and wat i got was 1566 Euro or mayb am not doing it righ too,

pls how did u go about it to get 880 dollars, travel dates is 21 aug to oct 29, lag to new york

Book intown suites or any of the xtended stays for a week. When you get there, within one week while you stay at the extended stay apartments, you will meet others and hopefully get your accommodation sorted.

i have read through her post before asking these questions,

i have even called the hospital always going to voice mail

if you read her post well as you suggested she didnt mention the full name of the doctor so how do we google him out.

I understand she might not want to make the doctors name public, that is why we sent her our email address to help us out.

we are all looking for a cheaper way out as we all know the condition of dollars in naija.

there is a two bedroom luxury accommodation available from 1st July near St francis Hospital, Lynwood, California. Anyone interested should PM me.

In the other news, i have since returned back to Nigeria. Spent exactly six weeks. baby was three weeks when we returned. also got all baby documents in one week.
Bellow is the breakdown of my fees:
Dr: $1000 plus initial visit fee of $262
He accepted all my Naija test and so no further test was done.

Hospital: 2700 including epidural, lab and paediatrician at the Hospital. Went in on false labour but was never charged extra fee
circumcision: 150.
Birth certificate: $28
US passport: 165
Nigeria Visa: 340

Baby ticket: 31,000 Naira. Hubby booked it at Emirates Lagos office and paid in Naira.

I will really say going to California saved me a lot of cash. I am grateful to God for everything including the infos gotten here.

pls i have some clarifications.

I got my visa before getting pregnant,we were to go for honeymoon in Miami and i was to go for vacation just holiday but my leave was cancelled cos i cannot go for leave and maternity leave in the same financial year. Though hubby traveled without me to another destination and he was not questioned about it.

Our initial destination was Miami, now am going to houston for child birth, though i have sent a change of intent and change of destination to the embassy and they replied.

What is the implication of this situation at the POE and future visa renewals?

should i be worried?

Pls has any one used ETIHAD and there POE is ABU-DAHBI as a pregnant lady intending to give birth in Houston.

i hear its a dangerous POE, how true is this and if anyone has used this POE for this purpose, can u pls share or if there is any cause for alarm.

Experienced mothers, i am currently 21 weeks gone and i intend too use Hospital in ELPASO, pls can any one provide information on the best and cheapest hosp to use. detailing the total cost and what it covers,how to get doctsors appointment, means of payment etc and if anyone will be in need of someone to share an accommodation with during their stay, i intend to travel by end of July.
