Bentley CEO says sales are down because the rich are experiencing ‘emotional sensitivity’ due to the cost of living and don’t want to flaunt their wealth with a new luxury car.

“Even though our customers can still afford our cars, there was a level of emotional sensitivity that slowed down demand,” CEO Adrian Hallmark was quoted by CNN on Thursday as saying.

This their "emotional sensitivity" among the wealthy is a bit surprising, considering that economic disparities and struggles have existed for a long time. It makes you wonder why they're only reacting to it now and what other factors might be at play in their sales decline.
