Due 2 negligence i mistakenly broke my modem nd as no means to get an adhensive to stick it back 2geda tlk less of getting a new one; i dont know i have this modem(orange ntwk i gues)its like the regular usb modem with a sim space but the thing there is its cdma(qualcomm 3g cdma)but, also it indicates any sim placed in it and funny the first time i had it long,before the start of data plans i put in a mtn sim and as usual wit computer updating it used up my whole airtime when i connected it
The thing there nw is:-
1.Showing and connecting with networks does it mean the modem is unlocked?
2.As a cdma,working with gsm sims means i can use it with the different network's data plans.
3.Heres where i neem help the most for clarity and what to do: the modem has its own software application(globetrotter sumtin! Sumtin!)jst lik any isp and the thing is it only connects from there even with the different sims in,it uses its own software app interface homepage though indicating the network name used,with a slight hint i thot afta certain configuration with an unlocked modem u should be able to use a modem with the app of the network simcard in.
Pls ur intelligent response will really be appreciated and thanks for taking ur precious time to read and reply to this.Thank you all.

waladis: PLEASE HELP!!! Toshiba Satellite A200 laptop won't boot up.

I have a Toshiba Satellite A200 laptop that was working fine. For no apparent reason it shut down and I can't get it to start again. I've checked the obvious things like battery & and power supply and they are functioning. Any ideas on what to do? I have a rescue disk but obviously can't use it because the laptop won't even go through the boot sequence nor can I open the CD-ROM Drive. Whenever I pushed the power button, 4 different lights turned ON. They are the AC-Cord light, the power light, the battery light and one other light in a round form which I think is the Hard Disk light. Then the fan started to work for a few seconds and then stopped. I tried several times to restart the Laptop with and without the battery and by unplugging and re plugging the power supply but end up with the same result over and over again. I will appreciate every suggestion that will help in bringing my Laptop back to life. Thanks

Bro i had the same problem check ur memory(i.e the ram)maybe its faulty ,try checking it wit another RAM but first try this take out the battery,diconnect from power then hold down the power on button for bout thirty secs connect back power,on then see.but knw its an hardware failure or corrupt windows.there re nice pple on here tht could give u tips and help F.O.C
