The market and the so called abbatoir has been there for decades. The only air mishap recorded in Enugu was in 92 or so.
The question should be why didn't fg and FAAN take specific actions to ensure the closure of the abbatoir and equip the run way with proper avionics for night landing?
Is the life of the local traveler less important than that of an international traveler?
