Why are you people misquoting this man? He said, he intends to marry the girl when she graduates. The girl won't be 18 anymore at the time of her graduation.

My guy my advise for you is,just let the young girl know that you truly love her,but don't go close to her parents with the issue of marriage yet,because they might think you're an agent of distraction to their daughter.

Introducing her to your people is not a bad idea at all. But I can tell you that,you can nurture her and be there for her until she graduate by then God would have answer your prayers by giving you a good job then you guys can tie the knot.
