As an engineer you can work offshore (sea) or onshore (land), depends on where you're needed. But offshore pays more, and u work two weeks in a month.

Everything is not about money, don't think I can work offshore. but the shell graduate recruitment is it for offshore or On shore?

Romance / Biblical Proof Of Why A Jobless Man Should Not Get Married. Check Out Number 2 by Sirhethat12(f): 3:05pm On Jun 12, 2017
The word "Eden" is an Hebrew word for "where God dwells", so the first thing God gave man was "His Presence".

(1)So the first thing a man needs is NOT a woman; it is the presence of God, and a woman should meet him in the presence of God. Eve met Adam in Eden.

(2)The next thing God gave man after putting him in the Garden was WORK. (Gen. 2:15). God gave man work before giving him a woman. That means a man needs a job before he gets a woman. God's priorities are very clear.

(3)The third thing God told man was "Cultivate"...... Cultivate here means, bring out the best in everything around you, to maximize the potentials of everything and everyone around you; to make everything fruitful. He only said that to the male. That's why God will never give a man a finished woman. The male was created by God to create whatever he wants. The woman you are looking for doesn't exist; she's in your head. Your job is to take the raw material you married and cultivate her into the woman in your head. So you have been married for 20yrs and you still don't like the product you get, that's your fault.

(3a)If your wife is putting a little weight and you don't like that, don't criticize her; it's your job to wake her at 6am, " Hey baby, let's go jogging".

(3b)You don't like her dress? Take her to a boutique and buy her clothes you like.
(3c) She can't speak good English? Send her to school and pay her tuition fee. CULTIVATE HER!!!!

(4)The fourth thing God said to man was, "Guard the Garden". The man has to be the protector of everything under his care. That's why God gave you a stronger bone frame. A bigger muscle mass, not to abuse the woman, but to protect the woman.

(5)The last thing God gave man was his Word... God told man not to touch the tree; God never told the woman about the tree, NEVER!!!..... Which means it was the man WHO received the word of God and his job was to teach his wife the word of God.
NOTE: Nothing frustrates a woman like when she asks her man "So what do you think" and the dummy answers "what ever you think is OK"....or keeps quiet. ..Giving Silence...mmmm.
Don't do that bro, don't do that. She's looking for knowledge and direction. That was the last command God gave to man in Vs 17.

★Now watch this: in verse 18, God said, "It is not good for this man to be alone". Now, don't just read the statement fast, read it again slowly, " it is not good for THIS MAN to be alone".
WHAT MAN
Answer : The man who is:
*In his presence
*Has a job (working)
*Can Cultivate you
*Can protect you
*Can teach you.
So here's the problem:

★ if you meet a man who doesn't like God's presence, isn't working, can't cultivate you, can't protect you and can't teach you, then.....
IT IS GOOD FOR THAT MAN TO BE ALONE! *Full Stop!*

Humility017:

if you can afford it...then why ask someone else for it?
I think your last summary don't sum up
reason because some persons reason differently
to some ladies ...they want a man wit prospect even if he has little as at present
while to some guys....they desire a diligent woman

So are you saying a woman should not make demands of her man just because she is rich? just because I can afford to recharge my phone does not mean I can't ask my man to help me with it.

BTW, Ever heard of logic? the statement I made (the one you quoted) is a deduction from Beverly statement, it does not totally define my view on the subject. she said we shouldn't call guys broke because they can't give us things we can't afford, so that means we can call them broke if they can't give us things we can afford! Someone earning 600k monthly can see a man earning 200 K monthly as broke but a jobless woman has no right to call a man earning 200 K monthly broke.
Celebrities / Re: Stop Calling Men Broke, Beverly Osu Reprimands Girls by Sirhethat12(f): 12:54pm On Jun 12, 2017
Then it's safe to call them broke if they can't afford to give me things I CAN AFFORD?

long story short; the rich should go after the rich and the poor should follow their kind. c'est finis!

Chaii op u need cane.

come and beat me I'm in my house. *ntoi*

also no 5 said it COULD make you happier. not that it will. imagine someone like Mark Zuckerberg. let's assume he's been working for two days non stop, then just as he was about to sleep a friend called him and was like 'hey Mark, abeg show for my side I wan dash you 60k dollars, I for send am but I don miss you and I wan see your face' yes he will be happy bouh that money coming his way, but he most probably would feel happier if he could be allowed to sleep before heading out to get the money.

moral of the story 1: The fact didn't say you should sacrifice money for the sleep, but its just saying if you are given both at a certain time, either the same time or different time, the sleep could make you happier than the money.

moral lesson 2: you will get to a point in your life where money will no longer be everything. example Aliko Dangote, Mark Zuckerberg and our amiable constituted authorities. with these few points of mine I hope I have been able to convince you and not to confuse you that an hour sleep could make you happier than 60 K dollars, thank you. lol

Education / Memo To The Youths by Sirhethat12(f): 2:44pm On Jun 10, 2017
Attached is a screenshot of the reply of Mr Afeez Bolaji Repete to a facebook post. it is worthy of note that he is the SA for youth, students and sport to Oyo state. I think the screenshot says a lot but I implore all youths to read this to the end.

Imagine how we have been belittled. it has gotten so bad that an advisor for youth thinks we mean absolutely nothing. is he not just reflecting the mind and thoughts of our leaders? after all he will give advice base on his belief and he believe we mean nothing! can we even blame him? They believe we have absolutely no power! Did I hear you say that's not true? well it doesn't just end in you saying it, it doesn't end in you ranting about it. it's time for action!

Everyone is clamouring for youth involvement in politics, do you know you don't necessarily have to join a party or contest for a position before getting involved? I mean if our parent can go through the stress of queuing for hours to cast their votes what's stopping us? Casting your vote is also a way of getting involved! I think it's high time we started showing our leaders just how powerful we are. it's not just by making mouth or ranting on social media, it starts with getting a voters card!

The fear of loosing an election is the beginning of wisdom. trust me, once we prove to them that we wield so much power they will learn to respect us. I don't have my voters card yet but LAUTECH saga (one year strike) has taught me a lot. come 2019 I will be battle ready with my ammunition (voters card).

Education is our right, we don't need to beg for it. we youths wield so much power and it's time to show the country how powerful we are. I'm not stopping us from collecting the rice and chicken change that goes round during election period if we truly need it, but come to think of it who said we can't eat our cake and have it? my brothers and sisters If anyone give you rice please collect it if you are hungry. if they give you money abeg don't reject it if you are in dire need, but that does not stop us from voting for the right candidate! eat their rice and still vote them out if you know they are not the best candidate! yes we have such power! we can do that if we want!

I know we still have a long way to go but I believe we will get there. we will get to a point where any political candidate who try to bribe us with rice and chicken change will be seen as an enemy. I mean why not shareu the rice after you have been elected? why does it have to be during election period?

I'm not a seasoned writer but I believe I have been able to pass my message across. Arise all ye youth! #ReopenLautech# #OneYearStrikeAndStillCounting# #EducationIsOurRight#

Business / 5 Lies You Have Been Told About Entrepreneurship by Sirhethat12(f): 2:42pm On Jun 03, 2017
1.You can be flexible with your time

Speaking to would-be entrepreneurs, one of the most common reasons I hear from people eyeing entrepreneurship is “I really hate waking up at 4 or 5am to get to work”. While it is sometimes true that as an entrepreneur, you may stay in bed till say 8am but it will most likely be because you went to bed at 3am.
Entrepreneurship comes with the kind of responsibilities, which in all honesty takes your sleep away. If you’re going to be successful at entrepreneurship, you probably will be on the grind 24/7; are you ready for that?

2. All you need is a mentor

I hear about this needing a mentor principle a lot and I believe it must work somehow but what I often see is mentees being taken advantage of. The traditional Nigerian Mentor will ask you to come work with him/her, to gain valuable “Hands on experience” for peanuts and still owe you. I must be honest that my rather awful experiences at the hands of “mentors” has left me biased here and I must also be clear that I did learn valuable lessons under them; but that said, I am still being owed by some of them, years after.

3. Banks don’t give loans to entrepreneurs

I was at a conference recently where the speaker literally convicted Nigerian banks for not lending to Nigerian businesses, even though the loan books of each bank speak a different story. What banks in Nigeria are not structured to lend to, are startups (i.e. businesses with very little track record) and while this may upset you, it’s just reality.
Startups, Micro and small businesses are better suited to take advantage of micro finance banks, grants, angel investors and venture capitalists. Their funds and structure are designed to better understand your phase, challenges and how to best align the loan with your cash flow.

4. Perfect your product and customers will come

‘Sayeth the person with the full store but no customers’. I don’t think there is anywhere in the world where the term “Image is everything” is more true than in Nigeria. Your product could literally download food off the internet, but if you don’t have a strategic sales, marketing and brand building plan to let people know your product exists and more importantly, convince them yours is better than the competition; then your product may just be for Family and Friends.

5. You are selling yourself short in a 9–5

I have seen way too many people fail at being entrepreneurs simply because they are just not cut out for it and have not taken the time to develop themselves. It has made many wealthy but has made even more bankrupt, it is a game of blood, guts, tears, more tears and then, maybe success.
If you’re going to delve into it, come into the ring ready with gloves. It’s not an easy feat but it’s equally just as rewarding. Just make certain that you know the facts before taking the plunge.
