RomanceRe: Men, What Is The Hardest Lesson A Woman Has Ever Taught You? by Sirhush(m): 4:26pm On Jul 17
ThinkSmarter:
Yes, especially at the initial stage of the marriage when she's still young.
Only upgrade her when she has birthed up to two kids or more, and then be emotionally ready to face whatever that comes.
Cuz, she may change.
She may start disrespecting your authority and she may start diverting resources to her family.
Except, she is an exceptional good wife, which you should be able to know from the few years you have lived together.
Cuz, few good wives still exist regardless of the high number of bad ones.
And while upgrading your wife, make sure the wealth control is 70:30.
Cuz, anything close to 50:50 will make her to see you as her equal or less.
But, if she's exceptional like I pinpointed.
Cuz, some women are human builders and good in managing wealth.
You can fully empower her and maker her the CEO of your family wealth.
Cuz, deep down wise women knows that the family wealth belongs to their kids, so they get careful in its management.

BWALA, WHERE DO YOU LIVE?! – A Scathing Open Letter to a Clueless Adviser Who Thinks ₦60k Is Living Large.

By RRH LANE

Mr. Daniel Bwala, with all due respect (which is currently hovering at exactly ₦0.00), which country are you living in? Because it certainly isn't the Nigeria the rest of us are desperately trying to survive in.

You sat comfortably—likely in an air-conditioned room with stable NEPA (sorry, grumbling generators) and a full fridge—and told Nigerians earning ₦60,000 that they are "better off" than those who "Japa" to the UK. You called care home workers "modern-day slaves."

Mr. Bwala, hypocrisy is not a policy communication strategy, and gaslighting a starving population is not a job description. Let's peel this onion until it burns your eyes, shall we?

1. ₦60,000? That's Not a Salary; That's a Death Sentence

Let's do basic mathematics—the kind they teach in Primary 3.

· A 50kg bag of rice today? ₦80,000 - ₦85,000.
· A litre of petrol? Pushing ₦900 - ₦1,000.
· Transport to work in Lagos for one month? At least ₦40,000 if you're lucky.

Mr. Bwala, if a Nigerian earns ₦60,000, they cannot afford just the bag of rice for the month, let alone transport, rent, school fees, or healthcare. They are not "better off"—they are one sickness away from the village cemetery. You are telling a man with a bleeding ulcer to reject a £2,600 monthly salary in the UK because he'll pay high rent? Meanwhile, in Nigeria, he can't even afford the paracetamol to stop the headache you're giving us with your foolish talk!

2. The Hypocrisy Hall of Fame: You Ran There First!

Here is the part that makes my blood boil: You are a UK resident!

You, Daniel Bwala, have tasted the comfort of the West. You know what it feels like to walk on paved roads without dodging okada riders. You know what it feels like to have 24/7 electricity. You know what it means to send your child to a school where they actually teach without being kidnapped.

And now that you've secured your spot in the cold, you want to turn around and lock the door behind you? You want to tell the young Nigerian doctor, the brilliant engineer, the desperate graduate that they should "stay" and suffer because you say so?

You cannot enjoy the chicken in the UK and tell the man in Nigeria to be happy with the bones. That is not advice; that is wickedness dressed in a suit.

3. "Modern-Day Slavery"? Insult to the Migrant, Insult to History

You had the audacity to call UK care work "modern-day slavery."

Mr. Bwala, do you know what modern-day slavery looks like? It looks like a Nigerian lecturer earning ₦60k after 10 years of service, forced to hawk sachet water after work to feed his kids. It looks like a nurse in a government hospital treating 50 patients with two pairs of gloves because there are no supplies.

Those migrants you mock are heroes. They work 12-hour shifts in care homes, scrub toilets, and carry the elderly—not because they love it, but because they are fighting for their families. They send those "scraps" you mock back home as remittances—over $22 billion annually—keeping the Nigerian economy afloat while your government mismanages oil money. Without them, Nigeria would have collapsed already. Show some respect!

4. The Real Delusion: Your Salary vs. Their Reality

Let's talk about your paycheck, Mr. Special Adviser. How much does the Federal Government pay you? Is it ₦60,000? No! Is it ₦600,000? Probably more!

You live in a bubble of SUVs, security details, and diplomatic passports. You have no idea what it means to wake up at 4 AM to queue for fuel, or to sit in traffic for 4 hours on the Lagos-Ibadan road, or to pay "levies" to touts just to sell pure water.

You lecture us about "family support cushions" while you sit in the Presidential Villa. Do you know that for the average Nigerian, "family support" means 10 unemployed relatives sleeping on your parlor floor, all depending on that ₦60k? That is not a cushion; that is a millstone around the neck!

5. The Challenge: Come and Survive on ₦60k for One Month

Here is my final word to you, Mr. Bwala.

If you truly believe that ₦60,000 is a "superior" life, resign your job immediately. Forfeit your UK visa. Cancel your children's UK schooling. Move to a face-me-I-face-you apartment in Mushin or Ajegunle. Live on exactly ₦60,000 for 30 days—no generator, no driver, no security, no family sending you foreign currency.

Try to feed, transport, and hydrate yourself for just one week.

If you survive, come back and talk. But we both know you wouldn't last 48 hours.

So please, Mr. Bwala, spare us the lectures. Japa is not the disease—it is the symptom of a government that fails to provide light, security, or hope. Until you fix the country, stop mocking the people who are smart enough to run away from the dumpster fire.

You are out of touch. You are out of order. And frankly, you are out of your mind.
