Business To Business / How My Bank Gave Me 5000 Naira Without Lifting A Pin by sirmielee(m): 7:57am On Oct 05, 2013
Last monthly statement for my personal account revealed that my acount has been credited with an extra 5000, a fund they termed CREDIT CAPITALIZATION.

Money is cool especially when u needed to get an important transaction on the way and you cant do it without a top up on your balance. Getting that from a Nigerian bank is like a dream to fly just like the birds- an impossible dream.

Family / Free Report Reveals How To Prevent Your Man From Prostate Cancer by sirmielee(m): 12:56pm On Oct 01, 2013
Cancer has been attributed mainly to women, the basic truth
however is that men too suffer severe cases of cancer. One
major cancer discovered among men is prostate cancer.
Prostate cancer is a form of cancer that develops in the prostate.
Prostate is a gland that can be found in the male reproductive
organs. This is called adenocarcinoma. It is an exocrine gland
of the male reproductive system which exists directly below the
bladder in front of the rectum. When the prostate becomes big,
the condition is called Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia. This is
however not a cancer but calls for urgent treatment.
Men that suffer prostate cancer have problems during sexual
intercourse. They suffer erectile dysfunction and problems when
urinating. Prostate cancer however is common among men aged
45 and above. This ailment is common among men nowadays.
Ways to prevent your spouse from prostate cancer.
Early testing: many men never knew they have prostate cancer
not until the cancer has developed to an advanced stage that
may be difficult to manage. Advice your spouse to diagnose to
confirm his status and learn preventive measure.

Investment / How To Verify Your Credit Card For Internet Banking And Online Transaction. by sirmielee(m): 9:40am On Oct 01, 2013
Credit card verification with international agencies for internet
banking or online transaction can be stressful and tasking
especially when you are verifying from a country like Nigeria that
might be listed as part of the countries to be wary of in issues
relating to finance online. Lots of anomaly has been perpetrated
by fraudsters within the country, this has made verification of
credit card quite tasking for many who desire to operate in the
era of internet banking and cashless policy.
My ordeal with Payza and PayPal recently during verification
process opened my eyes to the stress that most Nigerians go
through before their account could be verified. Of what use is an
un verified account with limited features.
During the verification process, my account was supposed to be
deducted with a particular amount. I will verify by stating the
amount deducted to confirm that I indeed own the credit card.
The card was deducted and for some days my bank could not
provide me with the statement or a alert of what was deducted
in my account. This could be as a result of their in adequacies
when it comes to issues of fund transfer out of the shores of
Nigeria.
Another challenge was the exchange rate. I had not been fully
notified by either institution of the present exchange rate. ‘A
dollar to a naira’. As a result of these inadequacies, my account
was flagged off by a security feature and my account was put
on hold. This led me to the compulsory manual verification
process. I put up this article to allow any one who might be in
this situation plan well for the verification.

Investment / Credit ATM Card And A Debit ATM Card, What Is The Diference by sirmielee(m): 9:33am On Oct 01, 2013
You can’t find a wallet in Nigeria without an ATM card that was
issued by any Nigerian commercial bank. I am of no exception.
The wide use of these cards in POS terminals, supermarkets,
eateries and other notable places in Nigeria is worthy of note
especially with the present cashless policy by the central bank
of Nigeria.
Before now, we have been coping with the awful
experience of wasting the whole business day in the
banking hall amidst long queue and sweat just to make a
transaction or send money to a loved one in need of cash.
The advent of credit and debit card, ATM machines has
eased us of this stress.
However, it is important we know the basic difference
between a credit card and a debit card.
Credit card and debit card are both used for financial
obligations but the source to which both cards draw
money, credit or fund from is different.

Family / Seven BASIC Secrets To Happy Retirement by sirmielee(m): 4:50am On Sep 04, 2013
Procrastination is the order of the day among folks nowadays that leaves us with a question of whether we would ever attain the state of financial freedom even at old age or retirement. My colleagues working with state parastatal have always nursed the fear of what there retirement would look like even amidst major fear of economic meltdown or price inflation.

My basic experience in management, finance and basic economics has given rise to this secrets that i hope would help us all to have retirement plans that would be different from what our parents had.

1. SETTLE ALL YOUR DEBTS.

Most workers today use various means to solve their financial problems leaving them in huge chunk of debt that they continue to pay even after retirement. They are fond of taking housing loans, car loans, personal loans to solve basic contingencies arising from economic pressures from close families, relatives and also for personal needs. If you are part of this group, don't be afraid provided you still have ample opportunities to settle the loans. Make sure that you have a repayment plan on or before retirement. See a financial expert to draw up a repayment plan that suites your present earnings and stay debt free especially during retirement. the basic secret of a happy retirement is when you have total financial freedom devoid of loans.

2. HAVE AN EMERGENCY FUND RESERVE

Emergency is a situation that poses immediate risk to you or your families that require quick release of funds. Emergency expenses can happen at any time with high possibilities as we grow old and become grand pa and grand moms. To have a happy retirement, you must set aside certain amount from your earnings that will serve as emergency fund for unplanned needs. Don't be caught unaware.
Emergency funds gives a sense of security. It will help you not to touch any of your investment to settle any emergency.

3. INVEST WISELY

In choosing what to invest in as investors or prospective investors, there is need to choose the kind of investment you put your money into wisely. Some investment are high paying but are laden with huge risk that could be a thorn in your flesh at retirement. As you near retirement, dis engage in any form of business that has abnormal risk even if the pay is high to avoid unnecessary stress to your retirement life and earnings.

4. GET AN INSURANCE POLICY

In our world today, most people see insurance as a third party agent that is only needed when we want to renew our car documents and we need third party insurance. Having a good insurance policy is a wise form of investment. It is indeed the wisest decision you could give to yourself as you near retirement. Don't shoulder the risk alone.
Insurance policy like annuity can give you exactly or more than what you earn at the moment even after retirement. Isn't that a good choice considering the paltry sum we receive as pensions from our pension managers.

5. EXAMINE YOUR CASH FLOW

Your cash flow is the analysis of how you receive money and how you give out money. Basically the inflow of money or cash to you and the outflow of money or cash from you. Take a close look and analyse your cash flow now that you work and even what happens after retirement. Will there be an inflow in terms of rent from your real estate investment? do you still have pending debt after retirement? these questions will help you to plan wisely as you near retirement.

6.GET A RETIREMENT BUDGET

A retirement budget helps you to visualize what your retirement life could look like alongside your retirement dreams. The major problem people get after leaving work is absolute indecision. They don't even know what to use this time for wisely. They get bored most times as they will not be going to work just as usual. Use this time for exercises, leisure and sports.

7.KNOW YOUR HEALTH STATUS

Health is wealth. Having a good health after retirement is a sure source of happiness. I intentionally left this point till this time to emphasize on its importance to a happy retirement. If you have all the money in this world and you don't have the health to enjoy it, with time you might loose the investment or even the so much cherished life of yours. We have a responsibility to know our health status before retirement.

INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL HEADLINES- Transfer Wrap

***Arsenal have smashed their transfer record in emphatic style
with the £42.5m arrival of Mezus Ozil on transfer deadline day.

***Manchester United signed Marouane Fellaini, but only after
some confusing goings-on concerning Ander Herrera, and a
rumoured attempt to sign Sami Khedira. They also seem to have
tried to sign Fabio Coentrao, but it looks like they've failed.

***Everton have signed Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea on a season's
loan, and replaced Fellaini with Wigan's James McCarthy and
Manchester City's Gareth Barry. And they kept Leighton Baines.

***West Brom have smashed their transfer record, possibly twice.
Stephane Sessegnon and Nigeria international Victor Anichebe
arrived from Sunderland and Everton respectively, with both deals
potentially reaching £6m.

***Manchester United manager David Moyes has insisted that he is
confident of Marouane Fellaini's success at Old Trafford. The 25-
year-old Belgium international joined the Red Devils from Everton
on transfer deadline day for £27.5m.

***Liverpool avoided the last-minute rush on transfer deadline day
by earlier recruiting defenders Mamadou Sakho and Tiago Ilori for
£25m while Nigerian international Victor Moses joined the Reds
from Chelsea on loan.

***Newly signed Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho, 23, has
disclosed his ambition to lead the club back to the Champions
League. France international centre-back joined the Premier League
outfit from Paris Saint-Germain on a long-term contract on
Monday.

***Cardiff City also did early business on transfer deadline day as
they signed Nigeria international Peter Odemwingie from West
Brom on a two-year deal for £2.25m. Odemwingie becomes
Cardiff's eighth new signing since their promotion to the Premier
League.

***In La Liga, Atletico Madrid signed Belgian defender Toby
Alderweireld arrived for a reported €10million from Dutch
champions Ajax, while Josuha Guilavogui made the switch to the
Vicente Calderon from Saint-Etienne.

***In the Italian top flight, Kaka was undoubtedly the headline
arrival, as he ended a disappointing three-year spell in La Liga with
Real Madrid in order to return to Milan.

***Super Eagles and Inter Milan young midfielder Joel Obi will play
his football for Parma this season, after agreeing a switch for the
entirety of the 2013-14 campaign.

***Juventus and Sassuolo were in negotiations for much of the
transfer deadline day, as midfielder Luca Marrone joined the latter
on a co-ownership deal while young striker Domenico Berardi
joined the Serie A champions though he will be loaned back
immediately.

***Wales winger Gareth Bale says the lure of playing alongside
Cristiano Ronaldo was a 'massive factor' in his decision to join
Real Madrid from Tottenham.

***In other news, Wesley Sneijder has made his return to the
Netherlands squad in place of injured PSV midfielder Georginio
Wijnaldum. Wijnaldum has withdrawn from the squad to face
Estonia and Andorra in FIFA World Cup qualifiers due to an ankle
complaint.
