Okay,

I once retried to siphon petrol fuel from a Yellow keg into the generator by covering the keg mouth (hose inside) and blowing a strong breeze…such that the gas pressure would force the fuel into the tiny hose. This is a common thing people sometimes do if they don’t want to swallow fuel.

Lo and behold, the gas pressure forced its way out and entered my nose…up to my brain.
Omoh! I first sit down for floor…I could feel my head became so light like gum as I struggled to with consciousness. This happened for some minutes but it was like hours. I can never forget.

It was after a while I regained consciousness.

Well

If I would give you the best advice
I would say
Read
Luke 6:27

27. "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28. bless those who curse you, pray for those who ill-treat you. 29. If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. 30. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. 31. Do to others as you would have them do to you. 32. "If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even`sinners' love those who love them. 33. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even`sinners' do that. 34. And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even`sinners' lend to`sinners', expecting to be repaid in full. 35. But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. 36. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. 37. "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." 39. He also told them this parable: "Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not both fall into a pit? 40. A student is not above his teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like his teacher. 41. "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 42. How can you say to your brother,`Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,' when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye. 43. "No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. 44. Each tree is recognised by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thorn-bushes, or grapes from briers. 45. The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks. 46. "Why do you call me,`Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say? 47. I will show you what he is like who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice. 48. He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When the flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. 49. But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete." (Luke 6: 27-49)

musicwriter:
The question has already been answered thousands of years ago but it was suppressed by religions, beginning from the rise of Christianity.

Preceding Christianity, there was an intellectual, highly spiritual sect called the Gnostics who logically explained why we suffer in the world.

The Gnostics said that this world is not the real world, rather this world was created by an inferior, power-seeking, imposter God who has deceived humanity that he's the real God.

Hear me well......

The real God is not the God of religion, so all the explanation by religion is garbage. The God of religion is actually the one holding us hostage and demanding worship.

The real God is unknown and unknowable. But you can can try to know it using logic, not by believing.

You'll get more details on what has been said above in the book "what is Satan? What is Lucifer? The biggest secret in the world" which you can find and download in one of my threads.

Having said that, the reason we suffer is because of GREED, which in turn is because the creator of this world (the inferior God) created an imperfect world in the first place
The real God is very much known
People believe in him and enjoy his greatness here on earth.
If you believe that God can be known by logic
Then you are saying that God who created the Universe can be understood by mere mortal reasoning
By the brain he has given human, you want to understand God which is not a Human.
There are god's of religions but, including gnosticism which is a religion.
But
There is only one God
That even created all gnostics and the first person to be confused into that lopsided belief.
It is that God that created the earth on which the early gnostics existed to even develop gnosticism.
But
The way to that God is very glaring and clear.
Not confusing to those who know him already.
But for you people who believe you know God by Logic, live your lives by logic, wake up by logic, sleep by logic, I wonder how empty life may be for you
I really hope you find solace in the truth later on

Gbam! I don't know the God that they serve that's more potent at night.
Or the one that takes pleasure in how much you can "punish your flesh" before he hears you.

God doesn't need us to be God - He has given us the best miracle ever - Free Will. The Universe operates on Cause-and-effect - sow and reap. Praise him, Praise him, in all times and at all times.
The aspect of punish oneself before God hears is really hilarious 😄
Though

It's just some form of weak faith.
I believe that if someone asks for something from God with a humble and believing heart and another asks for the same thing with 30days of fasting and prayer.

The one who received with a simple prayer would appreciate God more.
He would be more humbled before God and he would have greater Joy because he knows he didn't do anything to deserve what God did.
He just enjoyed God's mercy. He would be forever grateful for it.
But the other would still feel he worked to get what he got.
He would still have some sort of "pride" that he "did it" with God.
And the more scarier side
The one who fasted and Prayed would find it difficult to ask for greater things from God because he would start calculating how much more fasting and prayer he has to do than before to get something bigger.
This itself can bring frustration and sadness to the person.
But the other would simple be growing in Faith and Grace.

🙂

You would know that there are many things Prayer cannot do

But there is nothing Prayer with Faith cannot do

Jesus emphasized on Faith

"All things are possible for he who believes"
He didn't make prayer the major criterion
He made Faith the major criterion

He even specified the fact that people should not pray repetitively by repeating words like the heathen who believe that by their many words, God would hear them.

When people asked Jesus how to pray
He taught us how to pray with a very direct, detailed prayer which its short amount of words show how much Faith and Righteousness is more important than long prayers.
With Faith, few words as taught by Jesus, are enough to receive from "YOUR" Father

Notice the emphasis on "your"

If you are a true son of your Father,he won't leave you asking again and again from him when he has abundance of what you are asking for.

A popularly misquoted Bible verse in this context is the parable of the unrighteous Judge

2. "There was a judge in a certain city," he said, "who neither feared God nor cared about people. 3. A widow of that city came to him repeatedly, saying, 'Give me justice in this dispute with my enemy.' 4. The judge ignored her for a while, but finally he said to himself, 'I don't fear God or care about people, 5. but this woman is driving me crazy. I'm going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests!'" 6. Then the Lord said, "Learn a lesson from this UNJUST judge 7. Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don't you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off ? 8. I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly ! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?" (Luke 18: 2-cool

Firstly
If you say God is like that Judge in the parable then you are saying that God is unrighteous which is totally not possible.
The beginning says the Judge neither feared God nor cared for people
But God cares for his children and he so much loves the world that he gave his son to take away sin from those that believe in him lest they perish

Secondly
Jesus said we should learn a lesson from the UNJUST Judge.People started learning lessons from the persistence of the woman using it to justify that they have to pray many times before God answers(as if God is like the unjust judge)

Verse 7 Jesus asked if people think God would keep putting his people off when they ask him for something.it was a question which he answered in verse 8 that he would "grant justice" "QUICKLY" not after many nights of prayers or many days of prayers again and again. HE WOULD DO IT QUICKLY.

But Jesus asked how many people would have faith when he returns
Faith to even believe that God would answer quickly.

Truly some people believe that they have to continue to pray again and again to make God answer. Sometimes it works, but it is according to their Faith, so it takes time as they have believed.

But then, there would be people who believe that God answers quickly
And instead of praying repeatedly, they spend that time assuring themselves of what God has done. Reading the words of Jesus that assures them that they have received and then thanking God for it and having great joy for it.
They receive quickly.

This has changed into a long writeup I didn't intend to do initially 😄

But

One last thing before I stop

All of these things are actually for Children /Sons of God.

You have to be a Child of God first before you can start this journey of Faith.

How sure are you that you are a child of God.

Well
Jesus said in

"Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked. (Luke 6: 35)

I would implore you to read Luke 6:27 till the end

The above verse is just a part of the things that make you a Child of God.

I would paste it here for you to see how many of it you are doing or how many you have not started doing

27. "But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you. 28. Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you. 29. If someone slaps you on one cheek, offer the other cheek also. If someone demands your coat, offer your shirt also. 30. Give to anyone who asks; and when things are taken away from you, don't try to get them back. 31. Do to others as you would like them to do to you. 32. "If you love only those who love you, why should you get credit for that? Even sinners love those who love them! 33. And if you do good only to those who do good to you, why should you get credit? Even sinners do that much! 34. And if you lend money only to those who can repay you, why should you get credit? Even sinners will lend to other sinners for a full return. 35. "Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked. 36. You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate. 37. "Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven. 38. Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full-- pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back. " 39. Then Jesus gave the following illustration: "Can one blind person lead another? Won't they both fall into a ditch? 40. Students are not greater than their teacher. But the student who is fully trained will become like the teacher. 41. "And why worry about a speck in your friend's eye when you have a log in your own? 42. How can you think of saying, 'Friend, let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,' when you can't see past the log in your own eye? Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend's eye. 43. "A good tree can't produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can't produce good fruit. 44. A tree is identified by its fruit. Figs never grow on thornbushes, nor grapes on bramble bushes. 45. A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart. 46. "So why do you keep calling me 'Lord, Lord!' when you don't do what I say? 47. I will show you what it's like when someone comes to me, listens to my teaching, and then follows it. 48. It is like a person building a house who digs deep and lays the foundation on solid rock. When the floodwaters rise and break against the house, it stands firm because it is well built. 49. But anyone who hears and doesn't obey is like a person who builds a house without a foundation. When the floods sweep down against that house, it will collapse into a heap of ruins." (Luke 6: 27-49)

With all of these

You would pray a simple prayer with Faith and your joy would increase and you would receive with your Faith

😇😊
