Firstly, whether Greek gifts or not, it is better than nothing. Secondly, let Edo Workers ask him of how much he will pay them as minimum wage if voted for him. And also, let them make him sign an explicit agreement of how much he will pay them and when if voted into power. |

Showing these things are not discouraging enough. In fact seeing all these is a thing of joy of wanting to have them. It gives a lasting memories. As long as you are capable of taking care of them, the above pictures are not strong enough to discourage aspiring parents. |
Food / Re: Nigerian Housewife’s 1980s Grocery List Goes Viral by Sirtee19: 7:08pm On Apr 15 |
I can relate very well. In 1984 when I was still in secondary school, a bag of rice was N70, a cartoon of vegetable oil was N39, while a cartoon of milk was N26 (96 pieces). While I was in the university in early 90s, I do normally use N10 to cook a pot of stew with Titus fish. Indeed there was a country. 1 Like |

The number 10 richest bank in Africa is People's Bank of Morocco with capital base of $28 billions. All our bank listed above combine are not up to it. Number one richest bank in Africa has capital base of $185 billions. Our bank has a long way to go. Antoeni: 1 Like 1 Share |

This might start another war in the middle east. Even if started, Israel will survive. This is because, Israel is among the 9 nations in the war that have nuclear weapons, according to Federation of American Scientists 2022. Iran is nowhere to be find. Russia has the highest with 5,977 followed by USA with 5,428. China which is the third highest in the world has 350. Nuclear weapons war is a war of complete extermination. And those three nations above are allies to Israel. |

If the top ten tier banks in Nigeria could raise N3.3 trillions, yet this amount is not up to the worth of the 10th richest bank in Africa. The 10th richest bank in Africa (of which no Nigeria bank was among) is People's Bank of Morocco with capital base of $28 billions which is far more than N3.3 trillions. |

No Nigeria bank was among the 10 richest bank in Africa according to Bloomberg 2023 survey. The 10th one, People's Bank of Morocco has capital base of $28 billion, in which no Nigeria bank come close. Even if 5 biggest bank in Nigeria come together, they can't even come close. 10 Likes 1 Share |

It's quite unfortunate that no Nigeria bank was among the 10 richest bank in Africa according to the Bloomberg. Of the 10, South Africa took numbers 1-4 & 8. Egypt took numbers 5 & 9, while Morocco took numbers 6 & 10. Number 1 has $185 billion, while number 10 has $28 billion. Our banking system still has a long way to go. 1 Like |

Education / Re: ASUU To Tinubu: "We Have Been On The Same Salary Since 2009" by Sirtee19: 9:04pm On Feb 26 |
When I was in the university, Professor's salary ranges from 7k-10k. Those Professors earning 9k or 10k are those who got their Professorship in 60s and 70s, until when OBJ came and increase their salary astronomically. Even at that, the value of their salary then was far more better than the value of their salary today, if subjected to comparative analysis. From my perspective, a Professor's salary should not be less than 1.5m per month. |
Education / Re: UNILORIN Expels 14 Students For Examination Malpractices, Others by Sirtee19: 11:13am On Feb 21 |
You are right. Unilorin is noted for high discipline. I was there in early 90s. It did not start from the era of Oba, high level of discipline has been even from the era of Oyinloye. Every university has peculiar disciplinary measures, anyone who can not abide by unilorin policies is free to choose other universities that may allow their shenanigans. Celebrities / Re: Marriage Is Not An Achievement – Mary Remmy Njoku by Sirtee19: 11:36am On Feb 05 |
Firstly, how do you come to the assertion that 60% of couples CLAIM happiness due to societal expectations? Show us empirical data source. Meanwhile, Marriage is an achievement for men and women, though may not be to you. It is an achievement to find a beautiful soul worth spending the rest of your life with. It can as well not be an achievement for one with zero interest in it. And it is okay to not want to be married either. Let everyone find peace in their decisions. If you fail in marriage, that does not mean others do. A successful marriage is a blessing and a great achievement. Desist from deceiving some low minded young ladies out there. |

This is good approach from NAFDAC, but they can do more. They can periodically take random sample of this and other consumables being sold in the traffic and marketplace for analysis to save the nation. Some of these compromised foods that has been consumed overtime is a time bomb for future diseases which our medical teams here may not be able to help. 2 Likes |
