When a day of joy turns out to be a day of sadness and regret...It seems like been sentenced to a lifetime with no hope of freedom I have heard of marriages in the past that were arranged...and someway somehow the couple found a way to bring love into the mix. it might be out of duty or responsibility....but there was a chance things worked out fine But in this day and age...unless the guy is fully loaded with all the casheesh or a cassava she needs as a consolation, then he should be prepared to welcome a cheating wife who will find solace of love in the arms of a guy she admires Nuff said ![]() |
sapele914:You sound pained about something...or maybe something is eating you up You can't say a single statement without insults I'm not here to argue with you or throw shades You have no idea who I am, and neither do I know who you are I never pushed blames on anyone neither did I say no one is doing their job. I'm just hoping the government could do more to carry the nation along during their period in office |
sapele914:You talk like a child...but I'm not here to talk trash or play the name game I am more concerned about the power of information, which is being withheld by the governing officials Don't you watch news or read papers or books? It's all about learning something or understanding the situation at hand Take for instance, the recovered loot from Abacha or that from whistle blowers...what happens to it if the government remains mute on information? How are things being utilised, and what projects have being executed with the available resources? There's more to life than insulting others if you don’t have an interest in the same thing or understand their point of view |
Hbuyosh:No worries...all is well I just wish there was a way to change the mindset and ideology of people who have that deep conviction of a race, country or people Have you listened to Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's words on "The Danger of a Single Story"?? It is one of the most powerfully crafted speeches ever given, one where every single word counts. “Stories matter. Many stories matter. Stories have been used to dispossess and to malign, but stories can also be used to empower and to humanize. Stories can break the dignity of a people, but stories can also repair that broken dignity." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9Ihs241zeg |
Love snuggling up to your sweetheart and smooching? That's romantic, but—spoiler alert—kissing can be a disgusting and dangerous activity. While kissing, couples exchange 9 milliliters of water, 0.7 milligrams of protein, 0.18 mg of organic compounds, 0.71 mg of fats, and 0.45 mg of sodium chloride, along with 10 million to 1 billion bacteria, according to a research. Many pathological organisms can be transmitted through mouth-to-mouth contact, including those that cause colds and other respiratory viruses, herpes simplex, tuberculosis, syphilis and strep. That last part doesn’t sound too romantic, but it's debatable why we, as humans are drawn to this very intimate contact...to push their faces together and rub noses or touch lips or tongues. At its most basic, kissing is a mating behavior, encoded in our genes. But the reason for kissing is still mostly a mystery, even to scientists who have spent decades studying the behavior. It’s not possible to say which is the overriding factor: that people kiss because of a psychological attraction, or because of a subconscious urge to mate with the chosen kiss-ee. Most likely, it’s a combination of the two. It’s an extra level of complexity, but kissing makes people feel more bonded. Also one can say that people who kiss more frequently seemed to be happier and more satisfied in their relationships. As for those who love kissing, it helps them even select a partner. And what about non-sexual kissing? Even though it may not be about se.x, but a kiss on the cheek is more of a sign of respect or admiration. |
jumboo:That's the problem we have in Nigeria...lack of information on trivial matters, and most times hidden for their own agenda, or give us lies they feel we should hear |

Whenever I see ladies do this pose, I know it's all about getting people's attention to what they're selling This is really a questionable generation that places priority on things seen from older ladies...so they copy and try to emulate I wish ladies could be in the news for more that fashion, money, or men...we need more achievements and frontier conquest so others can rise up to strive harder and do better |
