For Tinubu, it's always about politics and I hope it doesn't do him in. He is a shrewd politician but he is not equipped for governance. I hope this politics doesn't become his undoing. I had written in a previous post when this news first came out that: Let's take this news with a pinch of salt. Let's assume it's like the presidential pardon list because we can say once was a mistake but if it is indeed true, then the government has created its own narrative of associating itself with crime. I remember when they used to joke here that APC isBut he has proven us wrong. He is soiling his presidency and personality with mud by HIMSELF. Before this last election, I observed those who wanted him to be president. Most of them spoke about one favor or the other he did for them or their family. They did not talk about an institution or system that worked. It was what he did for my father, mother or whatever. That is transactional politics. Interestingly, this man wants to be like Awo but Awo ìs still remembered today, if not for anything, for just one single thing. FREE EDUCATION. That is legacy. To Tinubu, everyone has a price. How much is yours?

I just want to remind the old folks. Someone born in 2000 is now 25. They never lived in 1993, 1976 or 1967. All those years to them are HISTORY. The one they are living in now is their reality. Don't think they will understand how things were in the past or the consequences of what happened in the past like you lived through. Please be very careful. Show good examples through your age so they can have something to look forward to. Again, they have internet that has exposed them so they can see how things are in other places or how things should be and you are denying them. Old folks should be careful. Forget this age thing and respect your age by showing good examples. The military coup plotters in 66-67 were in their 20s. The Premiers were in their 50s. Young people have nothing to lose compared to you that have lived younger. Act wisely. |
SmartPolician:For the Military to post that image yesterday in indirect support of the man, it says a lot. I think the political class are getting carried away. Given the recent coup attempts and Trump's invasion (which makes them look like cowards who have been compromised - go back to the politicians and interference with national security), it will be foolhardy to ignore the current sentiments. People are condemning the young ones who are hailing the soldiers but what it means is that the political class don't have the support of the people and if there is a coup, we will see how no one will stress themselves and welcome back the military thereby throwing away all the hard work for democracy. If they really love democracy, they better behave themselves. Endsars sentiment is still there and these are young people. There is a growing discontent in the continent and the young people do not have this attachment to 93 or before. They really don't care. What they see in front of them is their reality and they don't care about consequences so if we love the democracy, we better let it work well. Look at the Boko Haram issue, You have Bandits who are forgiven and put in the army. Who is happy about that? They want to act but they are helpless because they respect democracy, Na those who democracy benefit no respect am. The political class should tread softly. Even Trump, in the past, you would have expected all of us to say no but because of how the government has handled the matter, people don't even care about any resources, they want to gladly welcome foreign intervention because the people at the helm of affairs are no better. Again, politicians be very careful. |
tunjijones:If we as a people respect the rule of law, will there be any need to have those guys guarding the land? It is an institutional problem. Abuse of power everywhere because we all don't believe in due process. The government itself does not respect the laws of the land. So everyone is their own government unfortunately. What I saw wrong in the video for the soldier was for him to say the land has documents. That's not in his place. He should have simply faced the job that was given to him. The minister in my opinion had no business going there. What was the job of the director? The director almost caused huge problem until they told him to go back. |

tunjijones:Order of what? It was below the Minister himself to be doing the ground work yesterday. He didn't respect himself, his position and the office he holds. I thought Wike was interested in the welfare of judges. Even if the court or the FCDA says something, is it the Minister himself that will go execute it He disgraced himself in full glare. |
Where is the order from? What is this comparison with past events because Wike embarrassed himself? Respect is given to whom it is due. Have you seen a gateman refuse you entry because he got orders from above? He won't disobey his boss if he doesn't want to lose his job. Our politicians delight in power show instead of order. Now see what they got. This Wike man wanted to become our President, I always wondered how the Rivers people coped for 8 years. If it didn't dey, e didn't dey. You are just an occupant of an office, you're not the office! And if you're are still arguing about age, read your history. SixSeven:

SixSeven:I should add that even before Gowon took over, Ironsi was in his 40s, younger than those they took out. |
Imagine Wike as our President. Thank God for dodged bullets. Make we de manage this one small You can't give what you don't have https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrSEKaj6Iro? |
This one has forgotten the headlines then, WHO ORDERED THE SHOOTING ![]() Unknown soldiers. I pity you. Pray your family does not get involved in casualties, you won't think and type carelessly. Why did the Army attend the panel of enquiry into the shootings at Lekki? Who gave them the order. This is a senseless thread. But I understand, you have to be paid, data boys.

This is Wike that wanted to be a President 🤡🤡🤡 It's good how God is showing us these people in HD. . . |

Bahamas95:This was the part that upset me. Wike telling us how old he was etc. Who cares? Why do Africans think that just because they came to earth before someone else, the world must bow to them? Wike was busy trying to prove to the officer that he came to earth before him. Our politicians don't learn at all. The first coup in 66-7 took away senior officials and who headed the government? A small boy called Yakubu Gowon, who hadn't even married or had a child. I think power gets these politicans carried away. They keep talking down at Nigeria youth, displaying extravagance and expect them to bow to them. ⚔️ Coup Plotters (Ages in 1966) 1. Major Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu – 29 2. Major Emmanuel Ifeajuna – 31 3. Major Adewale Ademoyega – ~30 4. Captain Chris Anuforo – ~28 5. Major Don Okafor – ~30 6. Lt. Fola Oyewole – ~26 7. Lt. Humphrey Chukwuka – ~27 --- 🏛️ Assassinated Political and Military Leaders (Ages in 1966) 1. Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa (Prime Minister) – 53 2. Sir Ahmadu Bello (Premier, Northern Region) – 55 3. Chief Samuel Ladoke Akintola (Premier, Western Region) – 54 Who is deceiving Wike about age? They better learn from history. |
AMINDA:You know, I like that director who showed himself and used sense to escape. Wike got himself in the middle of scuffle between security officers that are like cat and mouse. You have DSS, Police and NNS. Those guys could have fought themselves and Wike would be collateral damage. If you notice, they were not talking to Wike, Wike was the one who did not respect his place. |
I remember this post about women and feminism. They don't dislike men, it's women who don't listen to them. The beautiful thing about the whole thing is time. Women don't have the luxury of time that men have. Biology does not work with sentiments so don't bother arguing with women, with time, they find out. The older women know but if they are wicked, they will lead the young girls on because they are jealous of their youth. I have heard what the OP said before from doctors and it's not new but again, let's keep arguing and be doing theatrics with life. FAFO One beauty of this same social media, depending on who you follow is when they ask older people what they regret in life or what they wish they could do if they were younger. You hear it all the time from women. CHILDREN!!!

mastermaestro:Respect is earned, it's not forced. I don't think Tinubu is yet to learn from the coup attempt and Donald Trump's threat. If he had, he would rein in his ministers and anyone who claims to represent him. He has gotten carried away with politics. The Nigerian government over time, with assistance of the NPF degraded the Nigerian Police. It didn't help that Nigeria was led by the military for years but since 1999, they did not regard the police high, that's why see finish don enter. We have heard of so many scandals in the Police so they too don't treat themselves well. The Police is a reflection of Nigeria. How you treat yourself is how others will see you. Just take a look at a typical police barracks and a Naval base or army barracks and you will find out what you need to know. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HoAsSsjOuO0 |
Do you know musicians and writers get inspiration from real life situation? He can actually turn this moment of crime to an opportunity to repent. After all, Akon was locked up and they won't let him out. This one is singing as E de hot. Hmmmm Stealing is hard but being creathief after theft is harder ![]() |
Cromagnon:I am buying the old Nokia phones now because back then, I could use it for 2 days. Old smartphones used to have radios with them. They (the phone manufacturers) removed it from phones. It is convenient to have a radio in/on my phone. They also means the US in my comment. The FCC tried to ban phone manufacturers from removing radio apps from mobile phones.

Teejaney88:That program did so much damage to me. Every day bad news. The only good thing they had was proverbs and maybe one joke. The West's propaganda is deliberate. To keep us down and beaten. To never see good in us. To always consume problems, chaos and stress. Reading what BBC did to Trump just makes me see how evil BBC was. Though I enjoyed their stories from the market. I was waiting for the 18 skills until I saw the OP had the IG link here and our lalasticlala is lalaing ![]() No 10 was READING NEWSPAPERS No 12 was NAVIGATING WITHOUT GPS People don't read anymore so no surprises. They conclude to understand instead of the other way round. I try to drive without GPS where I can. I mean, I believe reading maps should be something of survival. No wonder No 14 was USING A COMPASS 🧭 I will just correct the number 18, USING LANDLINE PHONES. Landlines are making a comeback. I think Gen Z is tired of tech addiction. If you're into business, I just gave you free intel. Wait for the market. The old will become anew ![]()

Hypocrisy needs to be studied in the North. Their hypocrisy stinks. These are the people who believe their type of Islam is the only one, thereby considering the other Muslims, no matter what they do as not strong enough to be Muslim. If God be man ![]() |
