After two years in office.

APC is a very unserious party. It is now clear their main ambition was just to get into power, they had no plan. Buhari had contested many times, yet it took him 6 months + to appoint Ministers. He didn't talk to Nigerians for years.

Now, Tinubu that did not let us rest, challenged Buhari openly that he made him, he challenged Ogun Governor that eleyi CANNOT stop him, he is their master, he makes people, he built Lakeghost and so many things. He is a first class forensic accountant grin All of a sudden, the same man who had the balls to announce subsidy is gone on his first day did not have a list of ambassadors until Trump saw an open goalhuh Propaganda is special

dollypi:
In other words, the man is an income stream belonging to the wife.
Explains a lot.
It's all about resources. Women want financial security and while they claim marriage is a game for men, it is actually the second employment for men. Men don't realize that they have to work for the marriage to succeed. If they don't, the company has failed. It's easy to talk about men 'using' women in marriages and she sacrifices her life Cho Cho Cho but when you look at the overall picture of the family, the man carries the weight of the home. That's why they say the man buys the house but the woman makes the home. His number 1 duty is to provide. He takes her from her father to house her and provide for her and her co-workers, the kids! This is why women don't like the burden of carrying the responsibilities of the home alone, it's a lot of stress. Thank God more women are now earning more than men, they can now see that it's not just money that men bring to the table to the house.

The Manipulated Man is a 1971 book by author Esther Vilar, originally written in German and translated to English by Eva Borneman.
The main idea behind the book is that women are not oppressed by men but rather control men to their advantage.

Education › Re: Side Chicks, Fear! Nigerian Wives Can Now Cash Out From Your Adultery — Legally! by SixSeven:
Yes oh! Under Sections 31 & 32 of the Matrimonial Causes Act, a wife can drag her husband’s side chick to court as a co-respondent for adultery — and the court can award DAMAGES for trying to scatter your home!

And guess what?
That money no be for you alone — you can beg the court to increase the damages for the benefit of your children. Because under Nigerian law, children have the right to grow up in a stable home, not one where side chicks are running up and down causing gbas gbos.
Money won't do anything to make the woman happyyou also have to prove that the side chick is causing gbas gbos. It's our refusal to embrace the traditional way of life before the British came to scatter our system that is causing the gbas gbos. Because while concubines were available in the past, the honourable thing to do was WIFE HER. Women were protected because they did not want her to be a side chick, she is better off as a wife but una no gree, you say 1 man 1 woman, equality, men are not polygamous by nature, men are scum Cho Cho Cho.

Even in divorce proceedings, you as the lawyer know that the man being able to provide for his family is taken into consideration for custody, so you have a case to prove that the woman outside is causing an unstable house especially where the man is a provider. The law is also not blind to understand that the presence of a father is better than awarding damages. Allow him to wife her, support your sister and stop this.

Women just like deceiving themselves in thinking they are equal to men, no you are not. I have seen some of them say they too can cheat, please do. Abeg cheat with your kids and have 3 different men. Have 2 kids per men and control the men, let's see. Na your eyes go see am grin grin There's a reason why when you watch Nat Geo, men fight for women and women select their mates. A man can always have more than 1, not so for women. If you don't know, some women in the past also enjoyed different relationships. They did not stay with one man for life. That's why it was common to see a woman back then bringing the child from her previous marriage to the new home. That's why some people did not know who was brother or sister until later on because all children belong to us in Africa. They don't want any discrimination. Women say they can cheat if they want to and can explore but they know that's not the way they are built. They are just annoyed they can do the same thing men do but it's also not a free pass for men, it's responsibility.

Women are very controlling. They want everything to themselves. One will tell you she doesn't want her husband all the time, another one will tell you they want him 24/7. They just want to always have their way. Men don't know they are being manipulated. The MANIPULATED MAN.

Just as the refusal of the President to let the IGP go when he's due for retirement very bad for motivation, having the enemy within is just as dangerous.

There are rumors that there was a plan to create two armies just as we had in Sudan with this Boko Haram Bazzztards. When they infiltrate the army, Nigeria will not only pay for their prison care, we will pay for their remediation program and then pay for their enlistment. It is a very dangerous thing to do. Remember when Jonathan said these guys are in his government? The Northern oligarchy thought they would use these boys like Asari and Tompolo. They thought that they had something good to agitate with using BH, but they are not only wrong, they are evil.

Both BH and ND militants are not necessary but the state has failed in doing the right thing. The conditions under which the militants were reformed are not the same as BH. What both were fighting for are different. That Yar Adua gave them amnesty was not a licence to enlist them into the Navy. We are raising militias in each zone. It's only the SW that doesn't have yet or theirs was removed, ie OPC and recently Igboho when he tried to defend the people legitimately.

The more the state refuses to protect lives and properties and play with our lives, the more they put Nigeria in trouble.

Why is an adult content advert at the top of this page? What has adult content got to do with politics?

Seun, like the alcohol manufacturers don't really care about the general safety of the public. They don't mind sharing or advertising adult content and this gets to teenagers and underage indirectly. It was so bad that there was an ad campaign in pidgin to let adults know that children should not be sent on errands to buy sachet alcohol. We lack self regulation so just as an adult ad is gracing this page I'm typing on, there's no control on who has access to the sachet. 20-30 years ago, we never had these sachet but they have penetrated the market that people can't afford to live without it and they are screaming that we will die without them. What about the health care costs of treating drunk population? Or the accidents they cause?

Pandemic looming.

What I'm saying is that the wedding can still go on seamlessly without those lies! Nobody ask them for all those shalaye. I mean, in my daughter's wedding as a father, I'll just give out my daughter, thank everyone for coming, and that's all. Who do I owe any explanation as regards my daughter's virginity?
Because that's the pride of marriage! He who find a good VIRGIN wife hath found a good thing. The parent's generation valued virginity as a virtue so I don't blame them for talking about it.

Let's stop this nonsense. We should stop pandering. Open grazing where one young boy will go with cows from Kafanachan to Sapele does not make sense in 2025. This is modern slavery, stop telling us they can't change. The people who own these cattle should be arrested for constituting nuisance. They can't have their own children walking the cows but they are happy with another man's child roaming everywhere and causing problems everywhere. Cut the supply and all these will change immediately. It's like someone owning a chicken that walks around the neighbourhood, sh!!ts and does everything outside, then goes back at night to the owner's shed. Let's stop this nonsense once and for all!

Sometimes, they don't know any better. Other times, this is the result of poverty or weak law enforcement. Poverty not just for money but because the brain is weak and can only make money no matter the means. It's just like going to the market and buying corn from a woman with a child. I have seen a woman in a buka wash her child's bum and did not wash that hand. She continued her cooking. All of una wey de chop for buka, I salute you 🫡

Gerrard59:
It is a matter I have thought about repeatedly. I have even asked other Nairalanders and a friend privately why it is so.

Some of the reasons are:
- Liberal culture: The culture is liberal. You have the right to choose whatever you want to do with your lives.
- Christianity: Igbos are the major ethnic group in the country that is overwhelmingly Christian. We adopted the Western version rather than the Eastern European version, largely due to colonialism and language. Westernisation promotes liberty and the right to choose.
- Capitalism: Capitalism promotes the end justifies the means. So, do whatever you can to get ahead in the race. This was vital in rebuilding after the Civil War, and if geared towards positive ventures, we excel. At the same time, if such an attitude is geared towards negative aspects, we come tops as well. The key term is to do well in whatever you choose because the culture promotes liberalism.

Nevertheless, even with such views, the southeast has the lowest percentage of children who don't live with their parents in southern Nigeria. Further research is needed to determine why and why not.
I think Christianity is to blame the most unfortunately. Aside what I saw on real life, if you read early African literature, it's women who are the protectors of the family. It's on Igbo land, a woman will go and select another wife for her husband. Nne wasn't something to joke with. The People in the East had a problem with Christianity because it condemned their own traditional practices and tried to replace it with the Missionary's. Now these woke people are changing the narrative, they even say our mothers back then were not polygamous, instead they were polyamorous and lesbians!!! All in a bid to destroy the family system.

This statement Mercy said,

I’m ready to have a child outside marriage, this year I wanted to have a baby, something happened and I had to choose between that and the baby. At this point, I think if I get pregnant now, I’m just going to have my baby. I have worked so hard, and I think I can take care of myself and three kids. I’m a goal-oriented person that always sets things ahead for myself.”
I have heard women say this. At the point in life where reality sets in, they don't care. They have the career, they have the money but they miss that child. Life is indeed a strange journey. I asked one of them the other day why she couldn't get pregnant for a guy, she said, she cannot afford to have a baby for a man that would only donate sperm for her so she will rather do IVF and choose from there instead of giving herself 'freely' to the man. In her mind, she bought it. That's women for you wink The cheaper option is not worth it because of that pride so they don't mind spending money on the child that will never know who his real father is. Their thinking, only few understand it. Once you understand it, just play along with them cheesy IVF is also not cheap but you don't discuss logic with women when they are on their emotional roller-coaster. They hate the truth because it embarrasses them so they divert your attention with unrelated issues. Women are naturally more selfish than men but that's a topic for another day.

I appreciate your advice but sincerely I don't need it. You refuse to answer my question. I know you won't tell me your age but give me your age range and whether you've birthed before. I just attended a naming ceremony of a relative in her 50s who just gave birth. So I can talk about this issue from those I know, and those I have seen and from medical POV. I may not be one but I have learned from doctors numerous times the best time for men and women to get pregnant. If you like, ignore biology. The Internet is not my family. Reality is different from Cho Cho Cho. Even the lesbians I know, they start looking for kids once their brain resets. I just smile inside knowing fully well that for women matter, they say one thing outside, they usually mean something else. I don't fall for such gimmicks. Go and check the age of women who seek IVF treatment and their ages. Why doesn't it bother the younger women? Keep arguing, you have won. It's alright. Life will open your eye.

All women must have menopause. Not all men have any pause. Men are not your problem. A man is never ugly. Haven't you heard that? E get why. Keep arguing wink

Women hate being pregnant but keep asking for it. Why? That's nature's beauty. If you like, post 1 million horrible images of women before, during and after pregnancy, women will still get pregnant.

Two things can be right at the same time, they can hate pregnancy and they can love the results. I am writing most normal women here, there are some women that are off the charts but even the ones I know that are in bad situations, they still see their children as a silver lining. To the men out there, maybe some of them don't know, a woman literally goes through the valley of death to bring a new life to earth. Honor that woman if she bring pikin for you. Forget her bad habit, handle those kain Jezebel with long fork but if na correct woman, treat her like a queen.
