IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING.

First heard of the seemingly disabled guy Aondofa popularly known as "Big dreams",a shoe maker through the enigmatic Rev. Abel Uloko of the House on the Rock church in Makurdi.

Though crippled from childhood, the guy never allowed that shatter his dreams of being a maker of what he doesn't even necessarily need(shoes).

He got the opportunity to showcase his products to a large crowd of over a thousand people at the ESLF organized 1st Benue Youth Entrepreneurship Summit.

The Governor of Benue State Hon Samuel Ortom and his wife, Dr. Mrs. Eunice Ortom, the Deputy Governor, Engr. Benson Abounu as well as the Honorable Minister of agriculture, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Audu Ogbeh endorsed his products and bought some for personal use.

Rev. Abel Uloko had earlier on in the month taken some of his products to far away USA where it is said to have got some requests for supply already.

Dr. Mrs. Eunice Ortom who is the convener of the summit and the founder of the Eunice Spring of Life Foundation promised to do her bit in making sure his business is improved to a reasonable standard.

Hard work and dedication surely pays.

The meeting of Governors elected on the platform of the PDP ended yesterday at the house of Ekiti state Governor, Chief Ayodele Fayose in Abuja, Nigeria.

In attendance were: Chief Ayodele Fayose, Ekiti, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, Akwa Ibom, Dr. Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, Gombe, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Delta, the Deputy Governor of Rivers state and Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa state.

The meeting also had Professor Jerry Gana, former Governor of Abia state, Chief T. A. Orji, former Governor of Imo State, Mr. Achike Udenwa, former Minister of Women Affairs, Hajiya Zainab Maina and Hajiya Inna Ciroma, other members of the National Assembly and some Party stalwarts.

Speaking on behalf of the Governors, Chief Fayose, the Chairman of PDP Governors Forum, informed the media that the essence of the meeting was to assure Party members across the country that the PDP is one and united. He was hopeful that the outcome of the Supreme Court judgment will further unite the Party.

He encouraged Party faithfuls to continue to work for the benefit of all Nigerians, saying that the PDP remains a veritable platform and will win all future elections in the country.

According to CP Zaki .M. Ahmed,Rivers state police commissioner,officers at police special check point Rukpokwu arrested one Bright Ubah m of Umuaka,Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State but residing in Igwuruta. He was caught dressed in police camouflage uniform harassing and extorting money from people along Rukpokwu Aluu Road, Rivers State.He is also a known car snatcher. The suspect is said to have been declared wanted by the Police. Exhibit recovered from him include: a pier of police uniform,police belt, face cap, jack knife and a Nokia handset.

It was tears and shout of joy as, Bro Joshua Iginla, celebrated his birthday in South Africa on the 11th of June, 2017. He gave 34 widows the sum of 10,000 Rands each.He also gave a 78-Year-old woman and five other widows a car each,gave 10 orphans 100,000 Rands and a brand new Volkswagen polo car.

It was a great moment for the widows and needy as they all were shocked and astonished with the gifts by the ever philanthropic papa. The 34 widows burst into tears openly, going by the fact that their country is currently experiencing recession.

The high point of the celebration was when he dashed a 78 year old widow along with five others widows exotic cars.

According to Mama Njiba Julian, a 78 year old woman: " I am speechless and can't control my tears because this is strange in South Africa'. Mama Solanga too expressed shock and with tears says , " I am overwhelmed ".

While explaining his reasons for doing this, Bro Joshua Iginla said ‘’As a way of marking my birthday, I feel that we should show more love to these ones and more love to them than any other person. We are not showcasing them to show we are givers but to teach you to visit orphanages. There are some children without parents, show them much love. To me, my birthday is not about what you give to me, its about how many times these loved ones (orphans) can be touched by the feelings of our love’’

The bodies of three brothers who were brutally murdered and dumped in river were buried together. The boys aged 3 and 5 had their throats slit before being dumped into the river while the eldest 6 was hit on the head with a blunt object before he was dumped into the river.I don't know where it happened but according to the FB user who shared the story,their father is a political aspirant.Currently he remains childless

Troops of Operation DELTA SAFE (OPDS) on Tuesday ambushed a gang of sea robbers along KM-45 AWOBA Waterways in Rivers State. During the ambush operation, 4 robbers met their waterloo. Items recovered include; 2 AK-47 rifles, quantity 3 AK-47 magazines, quantity 22 ammunitions and one speed boat mounted with one 200 Horse-Power engine.

Similarly, troops patrol along Bayelsa waterways acting on information, raided a sea pirates hideout along FORUPA-LOBIA waterways. However, sea pirates on sighting troops advance fled the hideout, and left behind 3 fiber boats and one 75 Horse-Power engine. The hideout was subsequently destroyed instantly while the troops continue with their patrols.

In view of this, the Commander Operation DELTA SAFE, Rear Admiral Apochi Suleiman wishes to commend law abiding citizen for their support by providing timely and useful information to troops. He appealed for more cooperation from inhabitants of Joint Operation Area. He assured the communities, oil companies and other stakeholders of OPDS resolve to protect oil and gas infrastructure, prevent and deter Crude oil theft, sea robbery, pipeline vandalism and other form of criminalities in the region that could impact negatively on the economy of the nation.
