udezue: Why do people like you love to spew garbage just for the sake of spewing garbage? U talk of Niger Delta like its some Paris. Biko be quiet jare. Igbanke, Anioma, Ikwerre, Ekpahia Opobo, Aro, all happen to be native people of states considered Niger Delta. Who give's a rat's ass whether Ijaw na majority there? LMFAOOOOO!!! Before u even go there don't forger we have Efik-Ibibio-Annang-Ekoi-Oron who are same people and are a majority in the Niger-delta. The Igbo groups in Edo, Delta, Rivers, Cross Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwaibom all put together are also a majority so my guy shut up about all that rubbish coz it hasn't improved your situation. Only toddlers like you yip yap about trivial issues like this. The last time I checked even Cross River state officials who are not of Igbo origin were there too. Listen as long as Igbo natives are present in your "little paradise u call ND lol they have a right to use the name and rep it too. Niger-Delta is not an Ijaw or Urhobo, copyrighted word ewu nkapi. I can understand if they said 1st Ijaw, or Itsekiri but naw they said Niger Delta which is inclusive of all Eastern people not just Ijaw. See how u called Ijaw majority without acknowledging, the vast Igbo, Efik-Ibibio population there who might not be so obsessed with using the name ND but are part and parcel of it and you can't wish em away. You call all the non Ijaw minority? When did u conduct census? Ijaw, Igbo, and Efik-Ibibio ppl are majorities in ND but you'll fail to see that coz you are simply a bigot. Your hate won't let you acknowledge em. So I'm sure people like Achuzia from Delta, Odili-Rivers, Amaechi-Rivers, are not qualified to lead in ND since they are Igbo? Igbos in SS used to act so freaking timid and were intimidated by bigots like you under the likes of Clark, Enahoro but my guy this is 2009 and u can clearly see that they are becoming empowered and no longer feel they have to hide their Igbo identity to be liked by bigots like you. Go tell em they have no rights in their own native region to conduct events, lead in politics where they are qualified to lead and I'm sure you'll regret that. theres nothing wrong in him wanting his own identity. it seems like easerners such as yourself dont respect others in the East/southsouth. @amaka shut the Bleep up you are not thinking with you head. |

So goodluck is ijaw but has igbo roots as you said right? So why are igbos complaning about marginilazation when they have an igbo rooted vice president as you said? I think you guys in the East and south south have identity crisis- incase you didn't know ethnicity plays a large role in politics. and you guys differentiate yourselves WAY to much to have unity. |
Politics › Re: Predictions Againn!nigeria Will Break Into Three by sjeezy8: 9:55am On Sep 20, 2009 |
Onlytruth: Yoruba man sef! The only thing real about this prediction is that the country will split -perhaps into three- but even a primary school child in Nigeria can "predict" that. So these tribalist "prophets" aren't fooling anyone.
I know you meant Lagos, but you are simply assuming that no other city in Delta or the East can ever develop to be like Lagos. If not for the civil war, Port Harcourt could have competed well with Lagos and could still do so in the new country. The same applies to Calabar, Warri, Asaba and others. As a region that passed through war and marginalisation, the New East will be a bulwark of democracy, equality, peace, justice, Industry and economic growth. The New East will be more like Botswana (98% Christian)-religious homogeniety. So, ultimately, it will best the others. not even Lagos the Whole west in general has migrants ogun, ondo etc. Religous homogeneity means nothing look at the tension in the north who are all muslims. how did east and south past through marginlization, when thats what they're crying out now? udezue: May his predictions come to pass. AMEN 1000 TIMES. Biafra (Efik-Ibibio-Ogoja, Igbo, Ijaw, Ogoni,) (Urhobo, Isoko, even Idoma, Igala, if they want to join will be fine and dandy) Can I get an Amen?
LOL @ Beaf. Oh well Becomerich must be feeling bad no talk of Benin republic and Edo, Bayelsa and Delta. lol i think you are forgetting the ethnic tesnion in the south south between eachother. becomerich has a point tho but not them into benin but oodua possibly |

hustla: Three countries from Nigeria There will be problem in Nigeria in future in which the flag and the name will change. I see that the Green-White-Green (flag) will go. I’m not telling you precisely how soon it will be. I see three nations coming out of Nigeria and settling down in different places. One will be stronger than the others and people will apply for visa to enter the stronger nation. How it will come I don’t know. Oodua State is coming. If care is not taken, it will be the state others will bow before. Nigeria needs a lot of prayers so that we don’t experience more religious crisis. I think the it was quoted wrongly and is meant to be "If care is taken, it will be the state other will bow before" IF three countries emerge, the strongest will be the region. . . . . where people already take refuge where cities are most populated where everyone votes the same where religion isn't a big issue where people are the most accommodating. the West to be honest |

udezue: Sjeezy, They are not Igbo. They are actually eskimos. ODE.
Go to Arochukwu, Akwaibom, Ohafia and tell me if you can tell which is Igbo or Ibibio by attire. We share more than borders with our neighbors hence there are Igbo elements among Ijaw. Do u know Okoro is also an Ijaw word and means the same thing in Igbo? ah ah dis guy you love to speak yoruba- you must love our style i can careless if its a spanish word, that means plantain @beaf you see why yorubas group you all together, cause igbos say all of you are the same. so you guys are the same and have strength in numbers so how can you IGBOS complain about marginilization. Since igbos clame all of the south south and south east are all brothers and speak in 1 voice. beaf are you igbo or not? @post im really confused are they igbo or not and are igbos ijaw or not? urhobo and calabar must be igbo to right? if so you guys should be happy you have an igbo vice president in office(goodluck jonathan) since you guys think igbo and ijaw are the same. |

THE AMAKA: something about that last post sounds fishy. . . moi not it ain fishy but eba is sour to those who dont eat it on the regular LOL Onlytruth: So every Nigerian official in "Babaringa" garb is Hausa abi?
Again Igbos and Ijaws and other share attires historically. So how did you conclude this was Ijaw attire? I dont know about any babaringa but yorubas where agbadas and they dont wear other peoples styles. so its only reasonable to think a person is not igbo when he is clearly wearing edo/ yoruba styles. Im aware of it but the thread title says IGBO not IJAW INFLUENCES or mixed igbos and ijaws |
