Hausas-fulanis if anything have been the more than peaceful in yorubaland for over 300 years. Aside from different scuffles that are minor. clashes between (yoruba vs hausa OR fulanis) arent serious - just like clashes between (kanuris vs. hausas) or (fulanis vs. nupes) and (Hausa vs fulani the most frequent) are nothing.

Yorubas are are nearly 90% not even what I said. I just do not want to sound bias. Other ethnics in lagos tend to speaker Yorubas, like the uhrobo,isoko, edo and others.   It is only the igbos that have refused to change. It is hard for you to find an Uhrobo man or isoko or edo man who has lived in Lagos for 20 years and does not speak yoruba. But you would find many igbos who do not. They refuse to assimilate with the society.

What are you talking about that no other "kingdom" gave that kind of resistance? My people were the last to FALL. And that was in the 1900s. Not that long ago if you think about it. The East gave the British the most problem than any other region. We did not crumble like Yorubaland or Hausaland. We provided the stiffest resistance to colonial rule along with our Ibibio cousins. They had to go from village to village. When one village fell, another village rose up. And of all Nigerian kingdoms, empires and confederacy, the Aro fought the British and their allies until our city was destroyed. And even after we were subdued, other Igbos continued to be a menace for the British into the 1920s-1030s.

dear chyz please do your homework- the british didnt own any slaves in LAGOS. Lagos was a porutguese town the british had nothing in Lagos. When slavery ended the people who came to Lagos were repatriated yoruba free slaves. Who dominated trade in LAGOS.

The british saw how the repats in Lagos were working, how intelligent they were and saw it as a domain into the colonising of un westernized yoruba folks.  LAGOS HAS ALWAYS BEEN A HOT SPOT bro.
